This also meant it caters to a local crowd and not to tourists like us. When we got in - the entrance looks like a bar, but then we were shown into the next room, which was the dining room and looked very nice and modern. In the center you have the pizza oven. As part of the deal we had a couple of appetizers, an individual pizza and desert. We were pleasantly surprised when our waiter spoke perfect English. He told us he spent 5 years in Miami, so his English was perfect and made the menu browsing much easier. The Appetizer was deep fried pizza dough with tomato and herbs on top. Having had a similar appetizer in another restaurant - we were familiar with it. It tasted excellent - a kind of souped up Bruschetta. The pizzas were the best we had in Italy. Fresh with a savory crispy crust. We had a four cheese pizza which was excellent with Gorgonzola cheese on top - simply unmatched. Finally, for desert we had a Tiramisu and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was excellent and really made the whole meal better. All throughout - service was excellent. Considering the place is 25 minutes from Venice - I would definitly make the trek next time I'm in the neighborhood with or without a coupon.

Pizza is average considering the oven - not quite as tasty as TRUE Napolitano pizza. Pasta requested and wine requested was unavailable - not sure why. Staff came across as a bit unwelcoming. I imagine the crew had already begun tearing down for the day and we're only willing to serve pizza at the time. Sat at a table near the doorway on a COLD night did not amplify the experience for better. Every staff member or customer who entered or exited the establishment would leave the door open for COLD winter air to breeze through our table. I'm sure the food experience can be better.
