This new management is the worst I've ever experienced. They are rude, very rude. I walked in wanting just shellac polish, no manicure. I shape my own nails at home cause this place sucks at shaping my nails the way I like them. So the manager got upset cause I didn't want a manicure with the shellac polish. I got sat with this older man and it sounded like he was fussing the whole time. When he removed the polish he tried to file my nails with an old used file and I kept pulling my hand saying I didn't want him to file or shape my nails at all, he kept say "I know, just a little bit" The shellac color I chose I didn't like and luckily I noticed when he was painting the second nail, I told him I wanted to change the polish and he gave me shit for it, " you should already know what you want", well if I'm paying for the job I get to choose whatever color I want and change whatever I want right? So he finally finishes the job and its just ugly and bulgy. I had to go home and fix it myself. I shouldn't have to fix my own nails after going to a salon. I've been here twice after management change and have had bad experiences every time. I tried to give them another shot but they prove to be the worst every time. I'm not the only one who's opinion is the same. Y'all should go to Nail Talk off of Sam Houston Avenue. That's where all the old school management from perfect nails is at. this is 2 weeks after i got my nails done. i asked for a simple powder acrylic set. the lady got up multiple times to do people's eyebrows and rushed my nails. I got a manicure from Sally, and it was the most painful one I have ever gotten. She was really rough and painful. Twice her drill, or whatever it is, drilled into my nail so far it hurt. She then used the nail scraping metal thing so hard it hurt. Even the foam block hurt. Then proceeded to put the shellac, which ended up being uneven and have a lot of streaks, and she painted outside of the lines. I would have corrected her but she had been working on me for over an hour and a half, just to remove a set of acrylics and put on shellac, and I was ready to leave and never return. Best thing about it is that it is next to Little Ceasar's Edit: Shellac didn't even last 5 days. This place blows! read more

The place is under new management & it's totally subpar. There was only two people that were doing nails & the other 4-5 were just walking around the salon playing. I waited nearly 3 hours to get everything finished. I got my toenails polished, which was done subpar. I showed the nail tech what I wanted & she swore she could do it. She's starts the nails & I guess realizing she can't, because she just starts doing her own thing. She started applying glitter on top of my white nails, which looked horrible, after multiple tries, I decided this was unacceptable. She barely took the glitter off my WHITE nails, slaps on some clear polish and is done. My nails had all types of glitter and other residue on them. I gave up on making corrections and just left. I decided to go here after my usual nail salon messed up my nails pretty bad. I walked in on a Saturday and it was about a 10 minute wait. I was greeted promptly and told to pick out the colors for my shellac manicure and my pedicure. The wall was filled with sooooo many colors so it took me a minute to decide lol. I finally get called to the back and I'm greeted by Ryan who just so happens to be the new owner! He's sweet, he's funny and he really made my overall experience at the nail salon fun! I got the deluxe pedicure and it was amazing! I've never had a massage with grapefruit so I was a little iffy at first. I noticed he had a sign on his wall about the SNS gel polish and when I asked him about it he was really excited to tell me about it, after he shared with me the process and how it's much better than shellac I decide to try it. I'm never going back to shellac again! He let me pick out which color powder I wanted on my nails and he applied the powder and shaped and filed my nails down and then he added a top coat and sealed it with vitamin e oil. I scheduled an appointment for 11:00 AM today. I arrived 30 minutes early to get a polish change (toes). Phong began working on someone at 10:45 so I decided to get a pedicure so we could be done at the same time. At 11:30 he started another client ( I was done with my pedicure and I was drying) . He never acknowledged me the entire time I was there. The rest of his clients he greeted and conversed with but he never spoke to me. Just pointed to the chair when he was ready. He took phone calls, pauses and did everything while servicing me. I watched him do the other two clients with no interruptions. I'm very upset. My pedicure was poorly done. My toes are seriously uneven. One toe bled and is sore. I had to ask someone else to try to fix my feet which still look bad. I had to get my acrylic nails done twice because I didn't get the design I wanted the first time after I kept telling the nail tech to fix them because I was not being satisfied. I also got fungus infection on my toe and when I called to let them know they needed to disinfect to prevent further infections and I got an attitude from whoever answered the phone and was told I couldn't prove anything and they wouldn't do anything either. I went this weekend to get a pedicure for the first time and my daughter to get her toenails filed and painted. First let me say when we arrived we were 15 minutes early for our appointment. When we get there, no one greeted us. They basically ignored us until I stopped someone to let them know we had an appointment and we were early. One of the boys working there said something about water and walked away. No one paid any attention to us for a few more minutes so we sat at the front. Then a lady comes from out of the back and said I needed to go back and then she sat down at a table up front to do a ladie's nails. Never visiting this salon before, I was quite confused and had to just wander to the back of the shop. I saw a chair empty and sat in it and then they told me to move. The chair they sat me at had a little tub with a few bubbles from two small jets and the water was blueish and cold. They gave my daughter a little chair to sit on near the foot of the chair. I paid for the Deluxe Pedicure and basically he wrapped my calves with hot towels with something on them that was hot and felt like icy hot afterwards, slapped some yellowish salt scrub on my legs and moves it around, washed it off, put my feet in the parrifin wax bags, took that off, rubbed my legs and feet with some kind of oil, scrubbed feet with some kind of file and put lotion on them. Then he punched, literally punched the bottom of my feet a few times and dried them off. The guy was rough and sloppy and nothing any of them said resembled english at all so I had to just guess what he was doing or saying the whole time. Then he filed my nails and painted them. He applied a bottom clear coat, two coats of paint and another clear coat very quickly and it was obvious one coat hadn't dried before the next coat went on. He walked me to a small very cramped little two chairs inbetween a table and a wall and told me to sit there. At first I didn't realize I was supposed to put my feet UNDER the table. When another lady sat down with me, she told me thats what I needed to do, but honestly it felt like there was no fan action going on under the table. Once my daughter was seated beside me, we sat there for nearly twenty minutes before the guy walked by. I asked him how long do we need to stay here. He motioned us up and sprayed fast drying something out of a can on our feet and new flip flops. The stuff was sticky and he didn't really aim and got most of it on our feet instead of nails. We walked up front and had to find someone to pay. He basically grabbed the money and just walked away. No have a nice day or nothing. The place is called Fantasy Nails & SPA, nothing here felt like a "Spa" and far from any fantasy or dreamy nails. After inspecting both mine and my daughter's nails outside, both our toenails were cut jaggedly and not filed evenly and when was filed in a straight line it was crooked, one side of nail long and one side almost past the quick. My paint was still tacky after an hour and ended up smudging completely off a few hours later from about 3 toenails. I had to completely remove the polish and refile and repaint them myself the very next day. I manicure my own hands and I could do a better job than this any day. Overall, completely disappointed in the entire experience. Will not be going back. Also, the chairs I sat at were right across from a door leading into a room for waxing and the entire time I was getting my pedicure a big hairy lady was getting waxed and whimpering and screaming the whole time. My daughter thought someone was being tortured, which also added to us both being frustrated and annoyed the entire time. read more

This was my first time getting my nails done at Fantasy and I am and was very pleased. This place is very close and right next to Little Ceasars. Kimmy did my nails and Snow put them on. I would recommend Kimmy, she is very nice and she sings sometimes which is really cute. I don't particularly get anything but nails done but she told me and showed me pictures of eyelash threading that she had done, they look very full and natural. And by the looks of that work I would recommend her for that as well. All in all this place does everything. They have many colors of polish to choose from and a lot of different varieties of styles to offer. I will for sure be going back! read more

I came in 15 minutes early yesterday for a new set of acrylics with an appointment for 12 o'clock. The man that works there started on my nails immediately and didn't finish until around 1:30. He took FOREVER removing my old acrylics. He was nice and friendly though. He did a great job on my nails, he just worked really really slow. Considering that I walked in at 11:45, they started my nails immediately && I didn't leave until 1:30.. that's almost 2 hours that he took just to do acrylic nails. Also the pricing is great. I've been to plenty of nail salons and they have been the cheapest so far (especially when you get a design on your nail). I will return in 2 weeks with a more basic and simple nail request to see if he is still gonna do them that slow. If they take 2 hours next time, I will not return. read more
