For the event that night they had a few food truck vendors off their large back patio. You could also see they had a few bars setup built in for events but most of the vendors for WhiskeyX had their own booths setup. Right next door to the Nelson Green Briar Distillery.

From the ceremony music to cocktail hour music to the photo booth to the lighting to the nonstop party atmosphere created by the reception music, Spangler filled the venue with energy and excitement. Once the dance floor opened, the tables were empty because everyone wanted to be in on the action. Several guests even commented that they had been hesitant when they saw a 630 ceremony and a reception that lasted till well after midnight because they thought it would just be a long time, and when it was over, those same people commented that they wished the party lasted even longer because the night flew by. We wanted a party, and Spangler created an atmosphere that we only dreamed of having. Job well done!!!

Southern Events did our wedding and we were very disappointed with how we were treated. They lost a…read morecheck we had sent to them saying it wasn't under the right name because it had my husbands name on it (although our return address on the envelope had both our names), so I had gone back & forth to the bank numerous times to see if it had been cashed, etc, since they were saying they never received it. I couldn't have it cancelled for 90 days but we had to put down our deposit still, so instead of being out $550 initially, we were out $1,100. After MONTHS of this, the bank said that they received a copy that it had in fact been cashed, and it was signed by Southern Rentals accounting department. When we asked if they could somehow compensate us for all the added stress and errands, and money being out of our wedding fund MUCH sooner than initially planned for, they told us there was nothing they could do. I would not recommend using them. There is enough stress with weddings as is and they made our planning a lot more stressful than it needed to be.

Brad and his team were absolutely phenomenal for our wedding in Murfreesboro. They hustled last minute to help with something we had misunderstood and they were so on top of the setup and food preparation. And on top of that, the food was out-of-this-world delicious. Everyone kept telling us that our buffet-style wedding food tasted like it was prepared by the plate in a five-star restaurant. He even put to-go plates together for us to eat after the wedding since the husband and wife are usually too busy to eat during! The food and buffet setup looked beautiful as well, they have excellent attention to detail. I could go on forever, to say that Brad exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The live music by Jeff Ricketts was fantastic and added a great vibe to the evening. Kara, the manager, was both friendly and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The bartenders were very friendly and efficient. They didn't have a huge selection, and the drinks were a little high-priced, although comparable to other places downtown. I liked that the bar was accessible from both inside and outside, and both the indoor and outdoor areas were welcoming and comfortable. They had comfortable couches to relax on as well as tables that you could stand at in order to have a conversation. The only complaint I had was that they ran out of food less than halfway through our event. I'm not sure if that was entirely their fault, though; we were a huge group (~200 people) and were very hungry! I would definitely like to come back here again, although I'm not sure when that will be since it is not open to the public and is only reserved for private events. Maybe I'll get lucky and know someone who has their wedding reception there or something!

Apparently it used to be open on Sunday's, but that was before my time. It is now a clean lined, beautiful private venue overlooking Broadway. I attended a good friend's wedding reception there this past weekend and was excited to wander my way to the rooftop. Security was great, the bar staff was excellent and I truly enjoyed the view. It was nice to have your own private oasis on Broadway while looking down at the hustle and bustle of the Honky Tonk scene. Since this space is mostly an open-air patio, I was a little nervous about the weather. The glassed-in room with couches was cute though. Although not a huge space, I would definitely recommend Aerial for smaller, more intimate parties.
