Fantastic Nails on Baseline and Del Rosa with Kim the owner is the best nail shop ever. They do a great job. They are very friendly.

$16 they charged me to take my acrylic nails off. On the phone they said $10. When I came in she proceeded to get a Nail tip and shove it under my acrylic nail to get them off. It was hurting so bad I asked is this how you guys take off nails? I said I usually soak them off and drill them off at home but I couldn't find my kit so she ended up doing that but still was lifting them in between soaking and drilling them which I repeatedly told her many times was hurting and that that is not the correct way to remove nails and that they shouldn't do it that way she ignored me then when I went to pay at the end expecting it to be $10 she said it was 15 because it took longer because we soaked them so I'm paying more money for you to do it the correct way? She said yes. Lmfao. Do not come here. My nail beds are so sore from her trying to basically yank acrylic off luckily they didn't lift up. They take walk-ins , the woman who helped me was super nice and offered to bring me water when I coughed. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did an amazing job . I normally don't stare at the techs when they are working out of respect to them but this lady said to look at the nails as she was drawing the tips so that I could tell her if I liked it or not and that she was ok if I wanted thinner or thicker so I really appreciated that about her . Will definitely come back . I gave 4 stars because I think it was a slightly overpriced for what I got . Other than that I recommend this place . read more

The first I went to this place, the ladies were very nice. I needed a last minute manicure and pedicure because I was going to a Halloween event and I really wanted to look good. They did my manicure and pedicure and added gel. In total it ended up being $89. I wasn't upset because I did come super last minute and I was just grateful they made time to get me in. This most recent experience is a reason I'll never come back: So, I brought my little cousin with me and of course, they weren't busy at all. I got a simple manicure and my cousin asked for acrylic nails and special designs that we provided a picture of. The nail looked at the picture and said she can do the design, no problem, but it's going to be $60. We said okay, because the design has a lot going on. My manicure was done in 20- 30 minutes. I noticed the tech didn't clean up her work. I still had paint underneath my nails and on the sides. She still charged me $20 for a simple pedicure that's already peeling and chipping. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours yet. When it came to my cousin's nails and the design she chose, her nail tech was having difficulty with the color. We wanted red, but she kept picking up the pink and messing up the design all together. After 20 minutes, she said she can't do it and got the nail tech that painted my nails to do it. She got close to the image, but it didn't look exactly like the picture. We were okay with that. The design in the picture we showed had called for rhinestones and a flower. Nobody in the establishment knew how to do the flower on the design, so they gave her a flower that you can glue on. Then the nail tech got an attitude and flat out refused to put the rhinestones on until we pay her an extra $5. That was not part of the original arrangement we had when we first sat down. So, at this point, they're talking to each other in their native language and not doing anything. It just so happens that a customer was able to translate to my cousin and myself what was being said (about the extra $5 part). Once they realized she could understand them and translated that, then the manager stepped up to volunteer to put two rhinestones each on two fingers even tho the pictures looked different. I've given this place a couple chances because a friend recommended it, but they always mess up my designs and make me bleed. First time I go in I ask for a soak off and the lady starts ripping off my nails and continues to do so even after my nails were bleeding. When I asked for a soak off she didn't want too bc it was going to take longer. Another time I asked for zebra print and they did straight lines on my nails even with a picture. My Most recent time the lady kept putting the tips for acrylics on my nails and ripping them off making me bleed. They charged me $80 for this horrible set. I wanted a partial refund bc I didn't have time to get them fixed nor wanted them working on my nails anymore and they told me no. read more

Went in today as a walk in for 2 pedicures & a fill. For starters they sat the people who came after me for a pedicure first & had me waiting for a good 15 without handing me colors or even acknowledging I was there. I got up & got color book my self. A lady with short hair finally started my nails & did a horrible job all I wanted was a fill she changed the shape of every single nail like each nail looked different, dented, & fat (didn't file them down). I asked her multiple times to fix it by the third time she ignored me & pushed me hand aside, she knew I was unhappy. If that wasn't already crappy enough the whole time she did my fill she was taking phone calls, listening in on other's conversations, handling cash payments. Finally after my failure of a fill my pedicure begins the lady doesn't use plastic liners for the tub & the water is boiling hot. She starts my nails & hurts me multiple times after telling her to stop messing with my ingrown (that's my doctors job). She continued to do try & cut my ingrown out & said it comes with the pedicure. I ask her if she could use acrylic for one of my toes she acknowledges & says yes but of course doesn't do it at that point I am frustrated & just want to be done & out of that unsanitary place so I ask her not to do my massage & just finish the nail color cause I had wasted 3 hours of my life for the most horrible nail service I have ever received. As I am going to pay I asked the lady with the short hair if she could meet me half way & I would pay for her time but the service & the outcome was disappointing & if I could pay half price for just the fill I would pay for the other services full price she proceeded to yelling profanities at me across the room (I literally never yelled at her & felt I was being very reasonable). This was the worst place, haven't been here in years, and I won't ever come back here again, first off the lady that was doing my pedicure was really sweet but quit after doing my toes, so the guy attempted to do my fill, he had no clue what he was doing not only did he cut my skin with the file, the tool he used to file my nails down was too rough and my nail beds were burning. I waited for the other nail tech to finish my nails and she rushed because she had another customer waiting, to make matters worse I had to go back to the guy to get them polished and a two year old could have done a better job, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had, word of advice don't ever go here, I wish I would have read the reviews before, I would have saved a lot of time and money going somewhere else read more

My mom and I are fairly new to San Bernardino and have been to a couple of nail shops and have tried to find the right one. I've been to the higher end shops around here and the hole in the walls. And hands down this is the best one!!! My nails are cut properly and filed squared like I like them. My gel manicure and also gel acrylics lasted almost a month and a half!!! I have two stiletto nails that were broke & I wanted them fixed. The lady there proceeded to try & fix them. Try is the key word. Unless you want square tip, don't go there. They are basic. She put nail tips on twice on my index & thumb nails. Then the thumb had a gap from the fake & real nail. So thick, I can put my own nail in between. I was so disappointed. I always get a regular pedicure but I got the gel one this time because the guy didn't hear me correctly, so I was charged another $10 for gel, which has already started to come off. I recently got a pedicure and my big toe got infected. I went back a few days later to show them and they acted like it was my fault. First off i went her out of desperation to get a pedicure during my lunch break. I actually meant to go to a different salon but got lost and ended up here. I said what the heck let me try this one instead of searching for the other place. One of the worst pedicure experience of my life! First off the lady was coughing on me throughout the whole process without shielding her coughs. During the pedicure she decided her technique of filing would be to do it in a vertical fashion until there is no toenail left and bleeding. Who does that? As im making remarks she decides to completely ignore me and move onto filing off my other toenail. She also determined that the best way to remove my cuticles scrape like crazy. Lastly the polish they use is cheap, thus the color comes out dull. I honestly shouldve just done without the pedicure and gone to my regular lady. read more
