A few months ago, I went wedding dress shopping at Fantastic Finds with my mother. This was my first time ever trying on dresses, and I came into the appointment incredibly excited! However, I left disappointed with the whole experience. When we first met our consultant, Donna, she acted as if she was annoyed that we were there for our appointment. She never formally introduced herself and practically ignored my mother throughout the whole appointment. It seemed as if we were more of an inconvenience to her than a potential customer. The dresses she pulled were beautiful, but not in line with the inspiration photos I had showed her (even though I had asked if we could try on dresses that were more similar to those pictures throughout the appointment). If someone asked for recommendations of where to look for their wedding dress, Fantastic Finds would not be at the top of my list. read more

This place advertises an appointment is needed and this only can be done via email. We sent an email early Saturday morning for an appointment. This was the only weekend we really had a chance to go before prom (unless we pushed it to the weekend before prom). We left them two email addresses and two phone numbers to reach us at. You think they would call back, nope. Not a chance. The prices appear to be outrageous as online they want you to select how much you want to spend on the dress. What a wonderful experience wedding dress shopping at Fantastic Finds. I came in with my mom for our appointment to look for a wedding dress. We were scheduled with Donna and she couldn't have been sweeter. She welcomed us, showed us around and offered us a mimosa. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and selected dresses that were a great fit. I probably tried on 12-15 dresses and Donna was very patient with me. She only offered her opinions when we asked and was always very kind with her feedback. The store has an excellent selection of dress in all styles, there is something for everyone. Ultimately, I found my dress and it is perfect. We placed the order and 3 months later my dress was in and I was back to see Donna. My dress arrived in perfect condition and my try on appointment went smoothly. Start to finish, a wonderful experience. read more

This place Truly a wonderful experience! I went to so many bridal shops. A bunch in Columbus, Ohio. Almost every one in Birmingham, Mi. I lost count of the amount of places that I went to. And I found dresses I liked but the experiences were so so. I felt like a number, I felt like the employees could care less. I actually almost jut ordering online because it just wasn't the experience I was looking for. I'm not sure how I heard about FF but I made an appointment and went. It was such a wonderful experience. Tia was the most amazing person to work with. She understood me, she listened to me, she valued me. When is came down to me deciding between two dresses, she was so patient and knew exactly what to say to get me to choose the right one. Don't waste your time! This past weekend, we went to Fantastic Finds to find my sister a wedding dress. It was her first time trying on wedding dresses, and while we had some ideas of what she might like, she wasn't sold on any one style. We were really looking to understand what would look good on her, as she's very petite. Megan was our bridal consultant, and she was INCREDIBLE! She sat down and listened to what my sister liked, didn't like, and got an idea of the vibe for the wedding. She pulled exactly what we asked for and took the time to perfectly clip the dresses to fit my sister. After trying on about 5 different dresses and listening to our feedback, she pulled a few more (one was THE dress!). The dress my sister ended up choosing was not something any of us what've picked out, but thanks to Megan's observations, she nailed it! Megan showed her professionalism and kindness when we told her there was another appointment we needed to go to. While we were fairly confident my sister had found the dress, she still wanted to go to the other bridal shop. Megan told us that it was no problem, encouraged us to go, and that the most important thing was that my sister find her dress wherever that was. The other appointment was a total bust, and we came back right after to get the dress from Megan! Megan even stayed late with us so my sister could say yes, and it was absolutely perfect! This is my second sister to find her wedding dress at Fantastic Finds, and each time we have left raving about the staff and shop. I would recommend Fantastic Finds to anyone!! read more

We had a very positive experience today thanks to Kim. Prom (amidst Covid) was very recently determined a "go" and they have been inundated with calls. The girls went yesterday and were turned away because they didn't have an appointment time or a parent - neither a clear requirement on the website. they were discouraged. I (the parent) called today, explained to Kim with my work schedule and athletics, that we had carved out a time today and really needed to come in. She made it happened. Despite her worry about limited ability to help us-she was very helpful. I've never been to Fantastic finds and have always driven the girls to the Detroit area to dress shop... I was impressed! I came here for their reputation and am so disappointed by my experience. 100% BUYER BEWAREz Pros: -Staff seemed knowledgeable -They refunded me 50% for my dress that I didn't get to wear -Good selection Cons: -They ordered my dress In The WRONG COLOR -the dresses are very pricey to start with, and now this dress is totally different than what it was suppose to be -After they reordered the dress, it came 7 INCHES too small and when the sales person who ordered it realized, she told me I must of just gained several inches in 2 months -She made doubting promises that they MIGHT be able to fix it, and with one week until the wedding I went and bought a similar dress at a different store for HALF the price. - when I went to get my promised 50% refund, it took nearly an hour because they couldn't figure out the machine. Overall, I would caution you to shop around and avoid this place at all cost. I will never return to this place and am extremely disappointed as it added so much more stress to the experience and I had to literally go buy a new dress. read more

Bridal Heaven is just stunning, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and a big bonus is that they offer not only wedding gowns but attire for everyone in the wedding!! Oh... And prom dresses too! This review is a bit overdue from last year, but the story begins when I went dress shopping at Fantastic Finds in 2018. I live out of state, but I was visiting family and since I was newly engaged, my mom suggested we try on wedding dresses. Neither of us really imagined I would find something on my first trip, but we fell in love and ended up ordering a 2-piece dress with a beaded belt that day. We knew the logistics of buying a dress when I wasn't local could be a bit tricky, but I knew I would be back around the holidays and my wedding was the following May, so we figured it was a reasonable timeline. One issue at my fitting was that I apparently measured between sizes on the skirt. I had the option of getting a size 4, and moving the clasp over 1/2" to make the waist just a tad bigger, or a size 6, which would have required a bit more alterations-wise to make it a little smaller. We all agreed a size 4 made the most sense as it was an easier fix. If only that were the case! When I went to my fitting in December 2018, I was SHOCKED when I saw my skirt. Even just on the hanger, I could tell right away it was way too small...like, disturbingly small. It was no surprise to me when I couldn't zip it up. Initially I blamed myself...maybe I had gained a little bit of holiday weight? However, this was so out of the realm of even being in the ballpark of something that would ever fit me, and I knew something wasn't right. Either way, I got to work and lost nearly 10 pounds very quickly (a little scary when you're 125lbs and 5'6" to begin with), but it didn't help -- the dress was still too small. After plenty of back and forth with FF, it came out that they recorded my measurements as 32" bust, 24" waist, 37" hips. Which would make total sense if I looked like Jessica Rabbit. But alas, that is not the case. When I eventually went for alterations, I measured 32" bust, 27" waist, and 34" hips. So it's pretty easy to see how as a result of human error, my waist and hip measurements were flip-flopped. I'm 27/34, but it must have gotten recorded as 24/37. While we were trying to figure this out, FF placed the entire blame on me, saying I "insisted" on ordering a skirt that was too small. Whyyyyy in the world would anyone EVER do that??? Especially when the gown cost nearly $3k!!! I looked up the sizing guide for the brand of my dress, and I should have ordered a size 8, maybe even a 10, which were never even given to me as options. How could I have "insisted" on ordering a size that was too small when the options I was given by the consultant were 4 and 6, which were BOTH too small in the first place?? If my measurements were recorded correctly, and I was told I was between a size 8 and a size 10, and I then said "No thanks, I think I'll go with a size 4," then that would be my fault. But it's not on me for choosing one of two sizes offered by the professional helping me out. (To clarify: I did order a size significantly *bigger* than I needed for the top...I think it was a size 14? Because I loved the neckline of the sample and wanted mine to look exactly the same. And I had to sign off that I understood that wasn't the size they measured me for.) At the time, I will admit I didn't really pay attention to my measurements, but I trusted the FF staff to do it correctly. I should have seen the red flags when I heard 24" waist, knowing I wear 27/28 in jeans, but with all the excitement and adrenaline of finding a wedding dress, I obviously missed that, which was a costly mistake. I also would typically wear a size 4 in a regular dress, so that number made sense to me, but I didn't realize then that bridal sizing runs a little different. In the end, I spent nearly half as much on the alterations as I did on the dress, and it was tricky to find someone up to the task of sizing a wedding gown up 2 full sizes. I was so over the expenses I acquired, and all of the drama and the blame game, that on the day of my wedding, I didn't even like my dress anymore. I'm still paying off the alterations to this day, a year later. Live and learn, I guess, although I'm not planning on having another wedding in this lifetime. read more

DON'T GO HERE!! I shopped here for formal gowns when in high school and will never recommend this place again. They treated my sister in law like literal garbage and ripped a veil off of her head after they showed her a dress out of her price range and she told them as such. They hurried her out of the store and made her cry. My sister in law was up front about her budget and tried on what the consultant, Donna, brought and then was treated horrid by the same woman who clearly just wanted a larger commission rather than treat her customer well. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Not a big fan of the no picture policy (why not? What purpose does this serve? What about those who can't be there to give you an opinion, especially parents who are paying for the gown? What about being able to compare back to the dress before making a decision? So many important reasons why picture taking should be allowed! Scrap booking for goodness sake!) and the constant reminder that you are only allowed to try on a handful of dresses during your appointment hanging over your head constantly. The staff here is unwelcoming and quiet versus the bubbly and excited teams I've seen at other bridal shops. I feel like FF's is a bit boring and quiet, noticeably pretentious, and severely cramped. In comparison, it appears they offer a limited selection and higher prices. I would not recommend Fantastic Finds for Brides to be. It will be a lukewarm experience at best. read more

We went here to look for wedding dresses for my sister and it was one of the most disappointing experiences ever. The building itself is historic, beautiful, and full of amazing/great/glamorous dresses which is great, if my sister was was allowed to have an actual experience. We were the first appointment of the day on a weekend and - no joke - we were the only ones there. We were placed up on a small nook of the building that had a skylight above it for natural light but we were only about 12 inches away from the pedestal that my sister stood on after trying on a dress. The consultant seemed friendly but started out the visit by sternly telling us about the "no picture policy" and then we were allowed to roam to pull some dresses. The consultant walked around with my sister to pull various dresses and ended up selecting 4-5 that she wanted to try on. The dresses were pretty but my sister pointed out that she felt somewhat uncomfortable with the consultant and that she didn't feel like her opinions mattered. Almost like it was about what the consultant felt like she should wear. Not to mention it was difficult to get a sense of how the dressed looked when my sister was standing so close in front of us, and (because there was a stairwell in the way), there was no where else to go. But the most disappointing thing? After the 4-5 dresses that my sister and/or the consultant chose (none of which she was thrilled about), the consultant informed us that our 1 hour appointment was over and to reschedule another one if we wanted to look more. The real kicker? WE WERE STILL THE ONLY ONES THERE! It just seemed very unprofessional and it was just very disappointing being kicked out when my sister felt like she barely got her feet wet. Not to mention, there was no one else there that would have had the space reserved. I'm glad my sister took her business elsewhere! read more

Just picked up my wedding dress and cannot be more pleased or excited to wear it on my wedding day. My maid of honor is from Lansing and took me here on a dress expedition, even though I live in Detroit. I'm SO glad we stopped here on the trip. The actual shop is a big Victorian-ish house with 30+ rooms full of dresses. It's really a cute place and fun to shop, very unique set-up. My consultant through the whole process was Amanda, who was friendly, honest, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. She didn't want me to try on *too* many dresses, which I think was a good strategy. You walk around with 6 (if I remember correctly) rings that you put around dresses you want to try on. These 6 were hard for me to choose since there are so many pretty dresses. I was also thrilled to find they had a dress in the window that I had seen and loved in a magazine (which ended up being all wrong for my body, but I was excited to try it on!) The winning dress was in those 6 painstaking choices, and it was such a standout. I was so worried I was going to end up in a dress that was not really what I wanted just because of the lack of selection at other places I'd gone. I had actually resigned myself to a dress I didn't love as a backup since I figured "my dream dress" was unfindable. I wanted something unique and vintage-y, with a little sparkle, but at a budget price (under $1,500). I found exactly that here, in a fit-and-flare gown with art deco lace detailing. There is so much detail for the price I paid, it's just gorgeous. I will try to post a pic to the business page after the wedding if I remember. I know this is so cheesy, but it really was a "fantastic find." When I came to pick up my dress (earlier than I expected it to be done), it didn't fit. It had been cut wrong. However, since I had ordered in plenty of time, they were on the phone with the dressmaker immediately and had another dress made for me. My second dress also arrived well within the expected timeframe and this time it fit perfectly and I got to take it home. I was disappointed to drive to Lansing and expect my dress the first time but not get to take it home, but this is why I ordered well in advance. Amanda handled it well and fixed the situation in a timely fashion and I wasn't worried at all. I didn't buy any accessories here since I thought they were so expensive (as they are at every bridal salon) but I did try some on which were beautiful, and Amanda was helpful with this and offered what I believed was her honest opinion which I appreciated. If I had the extra couple hundred bucks I probably would have bought a hair comb. I also have to say Amanda was NOT sales-y or pushy at all, at any point, which was nice. Even with the bump in the road of my dress not fitting, I still recommend Fantastic Finds highly, I am so incredibly happy with my purchase and my experience there and how effortlessly they handled what could have been a disaster elsewhere. read more

I didn't know what to expect when we started on my bridal gown expedition, but Fantastic Finds went above and beyond my wildest dreams! They have a great selection of hundreds of gowns in all shapes, styles, and colors. The fitting area is completely amazing, it's personalized and intimate. And the dresses are GORGEOUS! My mom was a bucket of tears as soon as I walked out in THE dress. The staff was incredibly helpful, understanding, and completely attuned to our needs. Our consultant, Ashley, even let us stay after closing to finish shopping for accessories and swatches. They made the experience of finding my dress a day I will remember for the rest of my life. I reverently purchased my wedding dress here and the woman who helped us was full of energy and boosted my enthusiasm about the process. So we decided to shop here for the bridesmaids dresses too. We needed up getting all of the dresses here. The gentleman who helped us was equally as upbeat and positive as the original woman. My bridesmaids were extremely happy with their dresses and the service that was provided. They made the whole process very simple for us while treating us with respect. They have beautiful lighting, mirrors, and even a runway! I had two different appointments here because I wasn't ready to say yes my first time shopping, and I had an amazing experience both times. Kim was amazing, I can't recommend her enough. She listens to what you have to say and made the experience so much fun, I didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. I had a wonderful experience at Fantastic Finds. It started with Alicia, the very sweet receptionist that ensured me that working with Donna would be amazing. I honestly was a bit concerned due the some negative Yelp reviews about her demeanor, but Alicia explained that there are those "extreme circumstances" ... She was honest and very positive. My experience was Donna was nothing short of excellent. She was honest, to the point, helpful, interested in everyone I brought, questioned my venue, colors, groom, she did NOT rush me, but was quick with helping me in and out of dresses, etc. She was absolutely wonderful. A lesson I learned: don't always trust these reviews if they're negative! They may skew your vision or expectation about a place & that's not fair for the establishment. Visited Fantastic Finds yesterday in hopes to find a maid of honor, mother of the bride and flower girl dress for my sisters upcoming wedding. We had an appt for 4p, when we arrived we were told they'd be right with us and to have a seat. 20 minutes had passed by and we were yet to be seated for our appointment. The bride kindly got up and asked if we could at least start browsing the formal wear room to get an idea of styles and the girls behind the desk were so rude, condescending & unpleasant with their response of "no" that we all immediately felt like we wanted to leave. Yet, we waited because we knew we had committed to the appointment. Samantha was our consultant and if I could give less then 1 star I would. She made everyone feel beyond uncomfortable. She didn't listen to what we were wanting or feeling comfortable in. At one point the mother of the bride tried on a dress she liked very much, but the dress was ripped down the entire side seam. Instead of listening Samantha said great I'll bag this up now and the MOB explained to he the dress flaws and she so rudely responded "Where" with an eye roll and pure doubt like we were lying to her. She clearly was trying to push floor models to be sold instead of offering us what we liked to be ordered which was possible with our date. Next the maid of honor got on her phone to show her dresses from THEIR website that she liked and wanted to try. Samantha completely disregarded the request and didn't show her a single one. If that wasn't enough, there was another consultant, Larissa, that helped the maid of honor with some questions she had. She was so kind!! BUT as soon as Samantha saw her interacting with our party (because Samantha was no where to be found) she was rude & snapped at this poor girl that was only trying to help. I the maid of honor found a dress I loved, but due to Samantha's attitude, sales tactic and countless of inappropriate comments I left empty handed. I was ready to buy the $300 dress from the store, but left and found it else wear to purchase because my stomach was in knots with how poor of an experience was just had. We all were actually speechless about how we were just treated. I will never return to this shop nor will I recommend for future friends and family looking for bridal and formal wear. read more

Stopped in on the way home from Becker's bridal based on a suggestion from a friend. Was greeted warmly by a woman at the check in desk and given a quick questionnaire to fill out. The store was very quiet with not a lot of customers, so we were introduced to a consultant and taken upstairs after about 10 minutes. After a quick discussion with the consultant about budget and explaining that I wasn't sure what type of wedding dress I wanted, but was open to suggestions, and showing her some of the styles I had tried on, she disappeared to the back to pull some dresses. While she was in the back, my friend and I browsed the selection on the sales floor. The consultant returned after about 5 minutes empty handed, and said she couldn't find anything in the style I was looking for within my budget. I was a bit taken aback since I'd already told her I was open to different styles, but then she made a comment along the lines of "I'm not trying to kick you out, but we don't have anything for you here." My friend and I exchanged puzzled looks and promptly left since clearly they weren't interested in taking any of our money. In the elevator on the way down, we asked each other "did that really just happen?" Definitely won't be returning here for anything...ever. read more

Went to Fantastic Finds this weekend to look for a wedding dress. We were seated in our own little area, so there were no distractions of other brides and their parties. It felt private and personal, which I truly appreciated. The selection of gowns were beautifully displayed, and they had a wide variety of dresses. My consultant Catrese was awesome and helped me find my dream dress! I told her what I was looking for and she brought me the most beautiful selection of dresses, it was hard to decide because I liked them all. She knew what would fit my body and flatter me, and she didn't put me in anything I didn't feel good in. I am very happy with the experience with Fantastic Finds and Catrese, and I can't wait for my dress to come in! read more

This is the worst prom dress shop I have been in, and as a mother of 3 teen daughters, I have seen many! The staff was cold, unfriendly and rude. They were of no help to my daughter and her friend picking out dresses or trying them on. There is no place to sit while your daughter tries on dress, in fact there are signs posted everywhere not to sit on this or that. If your daughter is anything like mine, you could be there 1-2 hours trying on dresses. They have so many do not signs that it really feels like a very negative space and the staff's unfriendliness does nothing to help that. Also beware they WILL NOT allow you to take a picture until you have bought the dress. I have been all over at shops in the metro Detroit area, Lansing, and Flint & Bridgeport areas and have never encounter this rule anywhere else. We tried to compromise with them, even asked if their employee could take the picture with their phone (so we couldn't post the picture) but they refused!!! Not everything photographs as well as it looks in person. My daughter wants to make sure that not only will she feel beautiful in person but that she will feel beautiful looking at her prom pictures for years to come. After all, that is really how you remember what you looked like. There was NO WAY I was going to spend $500 or more on a dress that I couldn't see a picture of how it looked on my daughter! And there was NO attempt to compromise by the staff. It makes you wonder why? You would think if we did happen to post it, it would be publicity for their store. They claimed that it was because the dresses they had you couldn't get elsewhere and therefore they didn't want them posted to the web, which still doesn't make sense seeing as every other store we have been to had the same exact dresses from the same exact designers. I even showed them a picture of my daughter wearing one of "their" dresses at a different store. Every store has basically the same dresses, it is about finding the one you want in your size. When I was dress shopping for my wedding dress, I was so happy to visit Fantastic Finds. I got lucky and spur of the moment called to schedule my appointment and they had availability for me that evening. It was, not to be cliché, fantastic. They had a reasonable assortment of dresses in my size (plus sized 24). I was able to try on styles of dresses (mermaid, fitted A-line) that weren't offered at many other boutiques. The prices for these gowns were all between $1k and $2k, which isn't unusual for a bridal boutique. I had a one on one experience and overall it was a great time. I didn't end up finding the dress here, but was overall satisfied with the experience. I called back a month later to schedule an appointment to look for a dress for my Maid of Honor. This time I called in advance. In order to place an appointment, they requested that I provide them with my credit card information. They stated I would be charged if I didn't show up to the appointment. This isn't the first time I've run across a policy like this, but, as a customer who has proven I can schedule and make an appointment before, and especially given that this wasn't a requirement the first time around, I did not feel comfortable at all giving that information. When I expressed that I did not feel comfortable giving that information, they simply restated that it was required and expressed no interest in my business when I stated simply that I would go somewhere else. read more

My oldest daughter bought her dress here in 2009 and today my youngest daughter went and found her dress here as well. They are super easy to work with, and Donna who helped us today was fantastic! She found us a dress that was exactly what my daughter wanted and in a price range that we were looking in. It was super busy in the store, but we were not rushed at all, and after my daughter found her dress they took her to "walk the runway" they have set up so you can see how the dress flows as you walk, with mirrors all around. If I could give less than one star, I would. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. They communicate via email (not professional). I'm pretty sure that they have a 6 year old typing those emails. They have no punctuation nor professionalism. They have tons of excuses for under-delivering on both product and customer service issues. If you want your dress on time, do not go to this shop. They force you to purchase dresses that are too large so that you have to get them altered. (more money for them!) The prices are outrageous. You could go anywhere else and get a better priced, better quality, dress that is delivered on time. People shouldn't have to wait for 4 months for a wedding dress and nearly the same amount for a bridesmaid dress! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. The workers are snotty and you are made to feel like you are insignificant if you don't have a budget of $2K or more. When you do complain, you get the run around and tons of excuses. I had the most wonderful time coming here to shop for my wedding dress! From the communication leading up to my appointment to the time I was there everything was A+! I cannot recommend Tia enough, she was absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable and made me feel so good and comfortable. Honestly, whenever I get the chance to direct someone to NOT come here, I will. I came to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress back in December. Not only was the employee rude to me the entire time, but she also acted like I was wasting her time and in a hurry to move me along. She also measured me over a full size larger than I am and insisted that it was accurate. Well, considering I told her no that's incorrect, there wasn't much else I can do right? If I order what I want and it's too small, I'm out that money and have to start over. So I opted to trust this so called "professional" with the simple task of measuring me and ordered the size up. This dress took over 4 months to come in and when it did, was SO BIG it wouldn't stay up. So I shelled out over $200 for a dress that didn't fit and had to spend another $120 getting it taken in to a size I initially insisted was correct. I've been in plenty of weddings and never had problems like this before. Thank you Fantastic Finds for employing people who need better training in their jobs and customer service. read more

My sister and her wedding party recently visited this location. Unfortunately, it was the first boutique of her dress shopping experience. The consultant she worked with made her and the entirety of the party feel unwelcome and treated them as if they were a nuisance. She made snide comments, didn't give undergarments to try on with the dress, did not clip back the dress, and was incredibly rude to my mother. Please consider the business you are in the next time a prospective customer visits. You are selling an experience as well as a dress. My sister is the nicest person in the world and deserved to be treated like a princess on this very special day. Instead you made her feel unwelcome and unworthy of finding a dress. Shame on your consultant and any management that allows this to happen. read more

I went to Fantastic finds on 4/30 as part of my friend's bridal party with her, another bridesmaid and her mother. It was our first visit to a dress shop and Donna was our consultant. It was not pleasant from the beginning. She was curt and dismissive to the entire party. She did not supply any under garments for trying on dresses. She did not help the bride into her dresses. Didn't even zip her up. She didn't even fluff the dresses or pull the train out. The mother of the bride (who was paying) asked for a few specific dresses to be pulled and Donna refused. She made the bride feel self conscious instead of making her feel special on her day. After all of this, the bride wad interested in a particular dress. Donna wouldn't check the delivery time. She also told her she would not show us bridesmaid dresses unless a bridal gown was purchased. She lost Fantastic finds a lot of money. We went to another store and purchased dresses that day. read more

I went there to try on a specific wedding dress designer and end up finding something that I loved even more from another designer. Kim was my bridal consultant and she was great. She completely understood what I was looking for and "held my hand" through the process. What I loved most is that they gave me a huge dressing room where my guests could relax in privacy. There is no pressure to come out of a dressing room in front of a bunch of people you don't know as with other bridal salons. Their selection is great and prices are competitive. Loved how friendly and helpful the staff was! The setup of this place is great and they have a variety of styles and dresses to choose from.

I took my daughter to Fantastic Finds today. I was very disappointed in our experience here. The sales associates were extremely unfriendly and we were uncomfortable the entire time. It appeared we were a bother and we are not difficult people. Two people were behind the counter. They yelled out that we had to register at the computer. They did not even attempt to move from the counter. There were not customers there. No one attempted to help us until we took a dress from the rack. We thought that was the process. We were approached in a very rude manner and told we had to put rings on the dresses we wanted to try on. Finally, we picked out three dresses and went to ask the people who still had not moved from the counter. They told us we had to wait in the line for a sales associate. People cut in front of us and were allowed ahead. The lady who was supposed to help my daughter made us feel like we were a bother. It appeared none of the associates wanted to be there. They were not friendly at all. I have never been so disappointed. The cost of the dresses at this place were all well above $350.00. I would think the associates would go above and beyond to make sure the customers were happy. We left this place and will never be back. When I take my daughter shopping I want it to be a fun experience and that experience was the complete opposite from beginning to end. I am shocked people shop there when I noticed the attitude of the associates was consistently unfriendly. We were there at 2:30 on a Sunday. It wasn't close to closing time. read more

Fantastic Finds was the first and last place I went to look for a dress. I wasn't sure what to expect at my appointment, and it was even better than I had expected. Donna was my wedding dress consultant, and she did a great job bringing me dresses that were not only what I wanted in a dress, but also in my price range. Never did she once pressure me to try on something more expensive, and she let me decide which dress looked the best. I only ended up trying on about 5 dresses, and this was nice because I didn't feel so overwhelmed. In the end, I got an awesome quality dress, at an awesome price. I never thought finding a dress would be so easy. read more

I wouldn't wish my original sales rep on my worst enemy. Under NO circumstances should you allow them to place you with Donna. She didn't introduce herself to me, or ask who my mother or sister were. She refused to look at my Pinterest pictures to understand what I might like. She was rude about how I filled out their survey: it was my first time in a bridal salon and wasn't sure what might look good on my body, so a checked a few silhouettes that I was interested in. "You understand you can't have BOTH a trumpet AND an A-LINE, RIGHT?" Once I had tried on a dress, it wasn't allowed to remain in the room, so that I could compare Dress 2 (on my body) to Dress 1 (no longer on my body). I had a long conversation with the owner about these issues and how confusing it was to be left in an unlabeled maze of showrooms. Unfortunately, the dress I liked most (from Essence of Australia) was from Fantastic Finds. I was placed with a different sales associated, Kim, who was lovely, but my experience continued to be tainted by Donna. When I went in for my first fitting, Donna was working the front desk. I asked her where to go and she gave me a vague answer and waved me through the prom area. Not seeing any labels or indications that I was to go through the closed curtains halfway down one of those walls, I stood there awkwardly before some other employee came to my rescue. They never did tell me when my veil order arrived. I checked in on it at my last fitting, because I was getting worried, and they said, "oh yes, it's in the back ready to be steamed." Were they going to tell me that? Did they want to know when I might want it steamed for? We'll never know. In sum, I do not recommend Fantastic Finds. Unless you can deal exclusively with Kim, who was indeed fantastic. read more

We came into Fantastic Finds with the hopes of finding the perfect dress for my wedding. Donna was very attentive to my preferences and pulled beautiful dresses out. Ultimately, I found THE dress and would not of been able to do it without Donna's help. I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a wedding dress! read more
