Its a pretty ok place to go but is a little smallish for so many hipster/rocker/alternies. The music was okish and I guess it would be much better with a live band. The barmaid at the entrance bar is clearly in the wrong job as she was unfriendly, grumpy and rude and the barmaid at the back bar was a little loony. She had the prices of the most popular drinks written on her hands and arms and would flash the prices whenever you ordered. There is a non smoking area towards the back by the dance floor but I honestly didn't notice we were in it as the whole place was fairly smoke free. (unlike what some of the other reviewers say.) Overall its not the worst place to go but not the best either...

A #2 tram stop is just steps away. They infuse their own flavored rums - ask about them! Basically all bars in Vienna allow smoking, but the smoke doesn't seem to get too thick in Grande. You just need to deal with it while you're there. They do have a non-smoking section in the back, but that's not where the cool kids hang out. We never even went back there.

They a good variety of imported and European spirits; this was the only place I could find a Rye Whiskey out there. They have a large list of house cocktails (which include some twists on some of the classics). Rest assured that no matter what you order the mixologists at GRANDE will take their time to ensure your cocktail is of a fantastic quality. Feel at ease ordering because whatever they make will come out spectacular. The service was outstanding, in particular Sebastian was both cordial and really knew how to build his drinks. We went on Wednesday night after dinner and were the only ones in GRANDE for almost an hour and from that experience Sebastian remembered us 2 days later on a busy Friday night when every seat was packed! He asked us how the next day was and how the drinks were both nights we visited. When we go back to GRANDE we ill be asking for him. Thank you to GRANDE and to Sebastian for making us delicious drinks and giving us a wonderful couple of experiences.

Instead we spotted the mannequin with a unicorn head in the window and thought this place just might be what we need instead. So we bellied up to the bar and order our pints. The service was friendly, there was a pug on staff, and the bar doubled as a cute indie clothing shop. Unfortunately, smoking was permitted (as with many bars/restaurants in Vienna) so we only stayed for one and I wouldn't consider buying clothes from here due to the smoke exposure. But it was a very cute/fun vibe overall and the DJ booth in the corner implies this place is awesome for a weekend.
