I am sure they will label this as a cognitive distortion, because they can do all things and are mentally healthier than everyone else. While asking about other therapists that might be a better fit they say no one else can handle your case. They are all baby therapists and don't have the knowledge they do. During this time, she…read moreignored information that contradicted her original theory, missed clear signs of abuse twice, missed signs of coaching that it took the judge a 25 minute conversation to uncover, issued letters stating the situation with my daughters care only to have in just a few days those statements of fact to be shown as wrong, missed signs of detrimental behavior/thought processes, ignored the tailspin that my daughters was doing and continued to see her, even though she knew she wasn't doing my daughter any good. Now, when police records, testimonies, statements from my child, and court accepted evidence came into light, she proceed to say she did "an excellent job" and refused to even acknowledge her shortcomings, talk about the facts that were now present, or go over what she could have done better to serve my daughters mental health. If you are needing mental healthcare or looking for mental healthcare for a loved one, I would implore you to continue searching. The damage done to my daughter's mental health while under the watch of this business CANNOT be overstated. The pious nature of this therapist's own delusions of grandeur and inability to objectively analyze situations or personal shortcomings has created a wound that my family will be trying to heal for a lifetime. Capitalism is the real problem here I know but no one should have to look up reviews before finding a place to get help. It's advertised as being a secular treatment center but it's a lie, the whole program basically boils down to if you're having a hard time and you ask god hard enough he will fix you. There's such high turnover in the staff that in just a few days they've cycled through more people than an Amazon fulfillment center. If you're leaving they will try dirty tricks to get you to stay like calling your contacts without your permission upon which they will twist words to make it easier for them to keep you against your will even if you came there of your own volition seeking help. The food was pretty lame too.

Our relationship was stable and had its ups and downs, we were happy, wanted our relationship to progress, and needed a person to step in to help us communicate and understand each other better. Observations At the onset of the sessions Lee provided us some general advice, but not specific details on how to implement it. she repeated this same advice during every session with no clear advice on how to actually implement (despite me asking) I observed Dr Lee became overly sympathetic toward my partners pain and treated me as the problem. Dr Lee would interrupt me before allowing me to complete my thoughts. When I asked clarification on a situation Dr Lee provided generic comments such as "well she's a woman and that is how women are". She went as far as to call me "selfish" in front of my partner before understanding my perspective. I explained to Dr Lee that I was not feeling heard in the sessions and that I am feeling there is a bias. Nothing improved. I believe that Dr Lee is biased in her approach towards counseling.
