I had taken all of my five dogs to Fancy Pup for grooming since they opened for business. I was very happy with their work up until about the fourth visit. On this occassion, I took two of my dogs, and could not believe what happened. One of my puppies was unrecognizable when I picked her up. They did a horrible job of cutting her hair. They shaved her so close to the skin that I am surprised they did not butcher her. I specifically shared photos to the owner of what I wanted. He promised me that he would share my requests with Valerie, their groomer. She shaved my puppy to the skin! I COULD NOT RECOGNIZE my DOG! IT was HORRIBLE! This is not the worst of what happened. My other small dog was cut on the underbelly, and NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL ME ABOUT IT! IT IS THEIR responsibility to notify the owner when an accident occurs! THEY FAILED TO DO THIS! I picked up my dog on Monday, and until Wednesday when I was petting him, I noticed he had a horrible cut on his underbelly. I COULD NOT BELIEVE that they FAILED TO TELL ME ABOUT this! (I will include a photo of this.) I called immediately to speak to the owner, but SHE REFUSED to speak to me! She kept transferring me to the other owner! I was trying to explain to her what had happened. She would not speak to me. I could not believe what a failure of professional responsibility! When the other owner finally took my call, he continued to make excuse after excuse that I was to understand that their groomer was YOUNG! HI could not believe my ears! Needless to say, I was very dissappointed, and very angry. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO FANCY PUP, nor do recommend them. We as dog owners must speak up for our pets because they CANNOT! It has taken me a while to trust another groomer with my pets. I finally did, however I now check my pets each time, while I am at the groomers, to guarantee that my dogs are not cut or injured. read more

Far too often reasonably priced groomers seem a little shady requiring cash and have such turnover in staff you never know who you are going to see next time you go una. But fancy pup seems like they intend to establish a clientele and earn their trust. The office is clean and neat. The checkin process is smooth and easy. I love that you can make appointments Online and pay using Apple pay. My dogs need to be groomed once a month and we will definitely be returning to fancy pup. They look and smell great. I've been taking my German Shepherd to a groomer closer to my house but got frustrated that I would drop her off at 9am and they'd literally take the entire day to get her done. When I dropped her off they spent a good 5-10 minutes sitting with her, getting her comfortable, and make sure she wasn't anxious being a new place with strange smells. They said she'd be done in about 2 hours, but called me about an hour later saying she was ready to picked up. Fancy pup has completely exceeded my expectations when it comes to grooming and puppy training. I have taken our puppy to other places for grooming have always been disappointed with comments like your dog wouldn't sit still so couldn't do my job. At our first visit with fancy pup the owner quickly asked to hold my puppy to establish a relationship and comfort with our puppy. When I returned he was completely calm, happy, and looking handsome. I also enlisted in a training class where Misael came to our home and immediately stepped foot and began his lesson with basic instructions on how to keep our puppy from darting out the door. We were immediately wowed on how easy our puppy took to instruction not only by him but by us as we re-enacted his instruction. The hour training class had us completely impressed and educated on how to establish boundaries and routine with our energetic pup.
