After 25 years of getting the same exact thing done, I finally found the worst! Not only was he 45 minutes late for the appointment, he also ignored absolutely every request and tried to debate what I wanted. I get regular acrylic powder with slight shaping. No polish or anything. I told him to get all of the discoloration and lifted corners off. Of course he did not so I asked him to do it again, still didn't get it all off. I told him not to file the sidewall, which he tried to do anyway twice until I pulled my hand away. I told him to fill with pink powder when I saw him grab clear, because last time he put pink powder on. He came out with some pink handmade liquid and clear powder. I insisted he get the pink powder and he said no it's the same thing. So he put the clear powder with pink liquid on my nail. Not only can you see dirt that was under the lifted corners, you can see where every single bubble was that lifted. You can see the difference between the new acrylic and old because he used to completely different kinds. He didn't file underneath the nail but instead shoved more super glue under my fingernails, at the tip. It is bumpy and not smooth, they use the most minimal amount of material so if you don't want them paper thin you have to pay extra. Just completely subpar job all the way around. Actually I would rate it less than subpar. I left with nails looking like I have nail fungus building up underneath my acrylic because of the lack of attention to detail before filling. I am utterly shocked at how bad of a job and how many things went wrong in one appointment. This shows why even a year ago they were rated at 4.9 and they are now down to between a 1.9 and a 3.4 depending on the site. Do not waste your money. read more

This nail salon is absolutely horrible. When me and my friends came in, they gave us attitude. When I was getting my nails done by a gentleman, I showed him the original design, and he said he could do it. I asked him for French tip nails, he gave me a full on white nail. He gave snarky comments to the things I was asking him and the vibe was off. My nails did not come out the way I wanted, and when I would try to say anything, he would brush off my comments and didn't try to fix anything I was commenting about. I'm not one to be a rude person, but when I don't like something, I'm going to speak up about it. read more

Service and Quality are terrible. The nail tech showed up 11 min late and did not even know she had an appointment. Then she had me soak my nails in cold water, even after asking for hot water and telling her the water was cold, she spent 3 min filing my nails and then left me without any communication, after a few more min I was directed without my nails being finished to the pedicure tub for my pedicure where I was sitting for 10 min before they even came to do my toes, then I was jerked back to the other nail desk for polish, there was no focus on my services at all. I haven't had my nails done for 24 hours and they are chipped . The prices are incredibly inflated $40 manicure with regular nail polish packaged for $85 with the cheapest pedicure is robbery. I would never ever go to this salon, the service is terrible and the prices are out of line. This was not a high quality spa. I think the only reason they're still in business is because they're in a college town. read more

Horrible HORRIBLE!!! First time ( LAST TIME For SURE). Went in for their delux spa pedi. The lady next to me said "ouch" and asked for the tech not to be so hard. They switched her out and sent her to me. The things she did were lack luster at best! I did not get my callous taken off... BUT I did receive an extra procedure!!! She cut (3) of my toes next to the nails, one of them pretty deep! She tried to stop the bleeding with some blue stuff for a bit. I couldn't believe it! I told her and the manager it HURTS!!? Once she got the bleeding to stop.. I told her to just paint my nails one color ( I originally wanted a french tip) I wanted to just get the hell out of there. I went up to pay and noticed I got charged more than what was listed.. $80!!! I wanted to get out of there and try and see what damage they did to my skin around toes. My toes were now hurting! I wasn't concerned about paying.. I just needed to get out of that chop shop. Twice the owner reach out to me via texting to say " sorry" we will refund your money.. can you take down your FB post? The second time, she said the same thing .. she'll " venmo" or. can come in and get the money.. can you remove my FB post .. it's hurting her business. I'm not hurting her business.. her and her staff ARE!!! SMH read more

If I could give a zero star I would. I've been to countless nail salons over the years, and I've had the same nail tech for the last 4 years, which means I've been spoiled. I didn't expect the level that Anna did, but going in to simply get my acrylics removed, my nails cleaned up and reshaped and painted, I was expecting at least a nice job. This was a hack job. She did the whole thing in maybe 25 minutes, barely spent anytime filing away the acrylics and making the nails smooth, she left pieces behind and spent about 2 minutes using the electric nail sander. Anna usually spends half the time just prepping the nail for the perfectly smooth surface. This gal angrily, for some reason, performed the normal functions of a manicure, using her gloved nail to attempt to wipe away the excess from my skin, which you can see from the picture she didn't quite get. I genuinely felt like I was in trouble with this woman the way she was going at my nails. Then I made the grave mistake of hitting my wet nail on the table, so there was a gouge in the polish. I expected her to remove it and start again, mind you this is normal polish, so would have taken two seconds to remove and apply a new coat. But no. I even asked her to but she said she would only add one more coat. Then my time was done, and she didn't say thank you, she didn't say have a nice day, I got nothing, just that I shouldn't touch anything for 15 mins. I was waiting for my husband to come pick me up while she angrily put things away and started sweeping, again, she said zero parting comment. She had me pay before she put on the polish, so I tipped out of habit, because I always tip...if I could have given nothing I would have. Majorly regret tipping her. And I definitely will never go back here. read more

TLDR: I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and this is the worst experience and messiest job I've ever had. My friend and I made an appointments both for 10AM. We were early. I got seen at 10:10, she got seen at 11:00... 1) They only accepted cash ("machine was down") 2) they only offered shellac, didn't allow regular lacquer. I brought $50 cash with me knowing that usually it's 35+ tip. I showed the lady what I wanted which was a medium length round tip, solid color, and she said it would be $60! So I told her I only have $50 cash and asked what she could do instead. She said for $45 I can only do short and square. Considering this is the only nail shop open in central WA, I just went with it. Halfway through, I got a different nail tech. When he went to apply the color, It was stringy. He tried to only do two coats where you can still see my nail underneath through it so I told him and asked him for another coat. He said no because it's a light color and that's just how it looks. I told him the nail on the sample ring was solid and said that does not look good. Please do another coat. He finally did. I left as soon as I could because I was so frustrated. The acrylic is all over my cuticles, polish everywhere, not filing. Just terrible. WOULD 100% NOT RECOMMEND. read more

So I returned to get my nail fixed and the lady that helped me through years ago was there and did my nails and again she was extremely rude and overcharged me for a polish change and a nail crack repair. Will never go here again. Also, adding that I had an appointment time schedule and she acted like I was an inconvenience. read more

I'm so surprised to see all the bad reviews on this place! Personally, I had a great experience. Usually I make an appointment wherever I go but the holidays have kept me pretty busy. I walked in and was taken care of right away. Kim gave me a fantastic full set. She asked me what shape I wanted, and informed me that almond shape does cost more, which I was happy to pay. Makes sense since it does take more time and detail. She took her time on my nails and I think it's the best full set I've ever gotten. She didn't skip any steps as I've seen other salons. Even though she was detailed she worked very fast. I will definitely be back. Update: Fancy nails is still killing it! Won't let anyone else touch my nails. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with my services after my husband made me an appointment. I saw the previous reviews and was reluctant to go. However the staff was friendly, the proper rules were being followed in regards to COVID-19. They had clear partitions and everyone was required to wear masks. The workers all wore gloves and were very clean. I got a deluxe pedicure and a full set. Both people who worked on me were great. Worst pedicure ever. Didn't even massage my feet. Let my grandson soak and then trimmed his toenails sorta and painted -tried to charge me $45. They screwed up and did t realize I made appt for fill after reminding them 2x. Had to wait 20 minutes to get that done. Then she rushed thru didn't get the old polish or dirt off my nails and proceeded to fill over the dirt. $110 later I can't believe I left a $10 tip. Never going back. Absolutely awful. They are rude and my french manicure looks like a 3 year old did it. My nails were not filed evenly either.

Writing this review on behalf of my wife, my son's girlfriend and her mother and sister. My son and his longtime girlfriend both attend CWU, my son finishing up his junior year. Each year we've traveled over from Seattle for their "Parent's Weekend" which generally coincides with Mother's Day. Most of the CWU Moms love coming over and spending a weekend with their college kids and my wife and the girlfriends mom are no different. While us dad's and the boys headed off to do guy things, the ladies (4 of them) decided to go off and do guy stuff. My son's GF called and made an appointment for the four of them for just pedicures. When they got there they still had to wait a full hour before they were helped, even though they didn't seem that busy. As the other reviews state, the staff was rude, and as my wife put it not just unpleasant and unfriendly but maliciously rude. My son't girlfriend is highly allergic to latex (has to carry an epi-pen) and when they got gloves on to start her pedicure she noticed the box said latex and requested alternative gloves (every nail salon and doctor's office I've seen use nitrile gloves as they look, feel and function the same as latex for the same price and without the allergy issues as many people are allergic to latex). They got angry with her and said that's all they had and told her to get out of the chair. The other 3 ladies in the group continued on trying to make the most of it. My wife goes to a nail salon every 4 weeks for a pedicure and manicure and I usually go with her so we are very used to how this works. The pedicures were crudely done, no finesse. Nails were left sharp, not filed off properly. No calf massage. The actual pedicures themselves were done in half the time it normally takes, yet cost twice as much as any salon we've been to. Even worse still after sitting there watching the antics of the rude, overpriced staff was that it didn't appear they washed or sterilized the tools after use. Nothing came out of the autoclave pouches like you normally see and all 4 gals insist they saw them reuse pumice stones and files on other women without sanitizing them in any way. I can't for the life of me understand where the VERY FEW positive reviews come from. Overwhelmingly the reviews are bad and to be honest if Yelp allowed ZERO stars their reviews would be even lower. Rude, unsanitary, overpriced and slow. Honestly I try in each review to find and report at least one positive. I'm struggling with this place. It's simply that bad. Apparently there is no competition in Eburg for nail salons and they can get away with it. On the west side of the mountains they'd be out of business in a week with their piss poor service. But seriously don't take my review into consideration. Go visit this business yourself and you'll get first hand experience in how to fail at every single process in your business. Be sure to watch your surroundings and pay attention to their interaction with other customers. Prices fluctuate on a whim and people were complaining about prices being different each time they go in, yet I am stunned and amazed that anyone goes back a second time. But again I do see value in experiencing the absolute worst business in a given industry. If you are at all entrepreneurial this would be a great learning experience in what NOT to do in your own business. Sadly that seems to be the only positive take away. But do everyone a big favor if you do visit this establishment. Ask them if they know what Yelp is, and if they pay any attention to their reviews? Apparently they don't as the reviews are bad going back quite a ways. Clearly they just don't give a rip and as long as money comes in they'll continue to defy the odds and offer truly horrendous service to all of those that didn't do their homework and walked in unaware of the horrific experience they'll enjoy here. read more

I usually go to Tony's nails, but they were booked out and I needed my nails done for pictures so I gave this place a shot. I asked for a gel french manicure and ended up paying 42 dollars for it. I usually went there and the prices started to change especially when the wife was there usually paid 30 bucks for a decent size and then it changed to 40 and it was still the same size. I went there for my birthday to get my nails done got them the same length but this time gel I was like okay it's going to be 10 extra and then I asked about the gems I wanted to get and it was a lot so it was going to be 60 so I was like never mind and ended getting just one so I did the math it was only going to be 41 I ended up paying 60 I don't know if he was confused or something but I was like what. I wish I could give them 0 stars! I had an appointment (which by the way was pointless because they over book) for a manicure/pedicure. I usually go to Alente but my appointment was cancelled due to my usual girl getting sick. Boy was that a mistake. They rushed the entire time, & had no idea how to do a proper matte dip polish. I HAD RED POWDER ALL OVER MY HAND & SHIRT! The appointment took about two hours, & an hour of that was waiting for the "owner" to finish my dip polish. Throughout my visit they were allowing multiple walk ins completely disregarding the clients that actually had appointment. When they were finished my names were extremely uneven, you could tell they rushed everything. That's not even the worst part... THEY CHARGED ME 110$ FOR A SHITTY MANI/PEDI. I just went in for a pedicure and was very disappointed! First of all my water was cold when I got in. Once that was corrected, I got a decent pedicure...but the polish job was a joke. For the primary color my nails were not thoroughly painted, there are white parts on the sides and edges. There was also an additional $5 charge for "nail art"...this consisted of 5 dots on my big toe that were all pulled together with a line put through them. I complained and said that I didn't think it was worth $5. I asked for a better design and/or gems/stones on the toes. They did give me the gems...I'm still not happy with the work for the $30 price. Additionally, my sister's foot bowl jets weren't working properly along with her chair. (I had my nails done previously in L.A. at a so called "chop shop", they beautifully lasted over a month.
