Don't get your cut from the lady in the second chair on the left side. Danny is usually a great businessman I just feel today was wrong on all levels. I had to pay twice to get my son's cut fixed. I feel the fix should have been on the owner to correct being he is the person that runs the business. Beside this incident and how it was handled it a good shop. Business and customer service is not their strong suit. read more

Zero stars... what was I thinking?! Wanted layers and got this ugly and uneven hair cut. Hahaha. Forgot this lady's name but she has long and fuzzy hair. While cutting my hair she only focused on how long and thick it was. After combing my hair.. she said, "your hair is so thick and too much work!" Hahaha! Goodness. She is so the professional! Haha! Jk. Avoid them. Paid $25. Not coming back lol! Don't be silly like me!! Lol!! read more

This lady ( slim & long hair) was really rude and has no manners. Their prices as well keep going up each time I go there --now at &25. The Guy who cuts my hair used to take his time but now he does not care anymore, he gets upset when you ask him to fix it . Won't come anymore. read more

This place is great first and foremost for ASIAN HAIR. Not all barbers can cut Asian hair correctly. This is not an opinion this is fact and if you are Asian you know what I am talking about ne? Anyway used to go here over 10 years ago then moved away. Walked in recently and but Denny and his sister not only remembered me but remembered how to cut my hair even thought it was longer. Yes some of their chairs need replacement and their magazines are old but you cannot beat great customer service , great prices, hard working people and a happy Satisfied customer ever time. read more

Bad place to get your hair cut. Asked for a fade with 4 on top. The lady of the left side buzzed cut my sons hair like he's in the damn military. Don't come to this place. They're out to make a quick buck but won't get returning customers read more

Peter, one of the barbers, left me with a bad haircut. I asked to keep my hair moderately long and proceeded to cut my hair to the size of his, to and I quote "look just like his" . Horrible barber, who let this man cut people's hair? read more

This place is just like the floor tile - black and white. You want a good, fast hair cut, you will get just that without no fuss. I love this place, been going here 10 years and will never leave unless I move out of Fresno county, and then might still drive in anyway. The trick is you've got to figure out which barber is for you. Once that's done, it's all good. read more

Been coming here for about 14 years and have all good experiences. Compared to other places I used to go to, Fancy Cuts is the best. Have had my hair cut by nearly all barbers there but settled on one who regularly cuts perfect every time. read more

Quick and easy. Decent cut for a decent price. Sometimes tough to find parking as it shares the lot with the always busy Costco. No reserve required. Ask for Nancy read more

This place has its merits as well as flaws. As you walk in you usually have to wait awhile which is fine but can be gruesome when they're really busy. Once seated in the barber chair u can expected to be leaving in 15 mins max. I notice that some of the workers don't speak English which is fine. I've had two different ladies and the one of the guys cut my hair. Various occasions they can have attitude or just ignore what customers are asking for. The place is well lit and adequately clean and conveniently located. The cuts are really fast and very good depending on who services you. I once vowed to never come back but here I am for the nominal price and the speed of the service which is sometimes more important then anything else. read more

This review is based on my experience with an employee. The employee was an older asian man. When discussing the length of cut I wanted on top of my hair, I told him that I wanted about an inch length left on top. He obviously had no clue what an "inch" was as I gestures and he just gave me a blank stare. It was off to a bad start when I realized he could barely speak English. How am I supposed to get what I want when the guy cutting my hair doesn't understand what I'm saying? -1 star I kept it simple for his sake, Cause I'm a nice guy. Towards the end of my haircut, I had a change of mind on the length of my hair on the sides, then the guy starts complaining, and at one point he tells me "that's too much work". Really? Simply changing the head on your clippers and going around my head is too much work? I felt like reminding him it's his job to cut hair, but I realized what's the point if he doesn't even understand English. -1 star Later he had the nerve to charge me an extra for my request. -1star For the rest of the session he was mumbling in his own language, who knows what, and it really put me in a bad mood for the rest of the 3 minutes it took him to change my side length. This employee has obviously never heard of good customer service in what ever language he speaks. -1 star It makes me question the people who hired this guy. From the looks of it , the place is family owned and if you complain they'll probably just ignore you. If they don't care about who they hire, then they don't care about their customers satisfaction. -1 star If I could give my experience a 0/5 I would. In Conclusion I say to you the reader, find somewhere else to get a haircut. Some place where you'll be treated like a customer, instead of just another 10$ coming in and out the door. read more

My hair stylist was DER, she does outstanding haircuts. She cuts my hair the way I describe; however if it doesn't sound right she will explain why. I have tried several walk-in places but noticed unevenness. DER is usually there 9am to 8pm daily except Tuesday. Call first to confirm her availability. Aside from that, the location is in the same shopping center w Winco in Clovis. Salon been there for years, it's interior is worn (could use new chairs), but prices is very affordable. So there is a trade-off. DER does quality haircuts for men, women, children! read more

I've been coming to Fancy Cut since they first opened. First, for the convenience, as they are right by my job. But I'll even take the long drive across town to come here, because I know they know how to cut, well mostly. But I'll get to that. If you've never been here before, then it's hard to say who to stay away from, but usually they are in the same row as the register, way in the back. Everyone else is a long timer, and to be honest, they all cut about the same. The only one who cuts noticeably different is Danny, the owner behind the register. He is so rough. But it's because he's trying to go fast. Sometimes that's desired. You'll accept a little discomfort to get in and out quick. Other times, maybe not so much. He also charges for everything. The others normally don't charge extra for a razor edge, even though they can. I can usually get in and out in about 30 min, but your results may vary. But as a rule of thumb, don't come in before a holiday or first day of school, because there is guaranteed to be a line. Which brings me to my next thing. They keep track of everyone coming in by memory. So you may not be seen in the order in which you arrived. I've been known to jump a few spots at times, and get skipped on others. You just have to take the good with the bad if you're gonna go on a busy day. read more

Not the best place to go if you're expecting a well blended fade. However, haircuts are quick, clean, and affordable.

Great place to get men's hair cuts. Ok wait time. Very reasonable price. My husband has been going there for years and he's continued to be happy. My son now also goes there and loves it. He also always looks forward to their lollipop they give at the end. Parking lot does get a little busy at times because it's next door to Costco. read more

I have been going here for years...throughout the years I can tell everyone in this shop has cut my hair. I used to have Danny cut my hair all the time until one day I was not satisfied with his work so I told him and he acted so unprofessional and very rough with the Clippers and comb. So now I have anyone but him cut my hair. It just seems like everyone is always in a rush no one takes their time anymore. I think it's so rude that dannys wife Nancy wears earphones while she cuts your hair it's like she tunes you out. Very unprofessional and rude in my point of view. read more

I wish I could put zero stars but I can't. This was the second time I have ever gone to a barber in my 23 years alive and I absolutely regret it. Normally my dad cuts my hair and shapes my beard but since I am away from home I had go to a barber shop. So I went to fancy cuts. I went their because I am not from this area and I was shopping at winco and I passed by this place. Here's why I am NOT a happy customer. I went in just to get my beard edged up because I am not so good at doing it by myself. I saw Denny and told him I don't want a hair cut, I just want my beard edged up. Big mistake. He took like 3 minutes and left my beard crooked and left uncut hairs randomly all over. I came home and decided to just cut it all off and start over. I will never step foot in "Fancy cut" (More like crappy cut) ever again. Took my ten dollars and gave did a crappy job. P.S. I have received poor service from restaurants and different places and I never write reviews but Denny did such a bad job I had to write this. Do yourself a favor and find another barber shop or he will screw up your beard. read more

Don't even get me started with this place. My hair is my baby so going in and asking for an inch off cut but having them cut over 6 inches left me depressed.
