Thao does good job for my boyfriend's haircuts. He was in needed for a local barber and Thao was recommended. He is very efficient, fast, and a pretty chill guy to talk to. His haircuts are only 30 mins long. There's always parking in the front and it's pretty spacious salon for only one room but they have lots of chairs. They have refreshments and candy for people waiting. Thao is also very affordable too. Haircuts are usually $40+tip. read more

Zitro Barbershop - Great place to get a haircut - Barbers Near Me - Clovis, California

I definitely recommend if you're looking for a quality cut with great customer service. Just passing through town and this shop was able to schedule me in for a cut the same day. Fantastic service and great quality cut. My barber made sure I liked my cut before letting me walk out. read more

I was really excited to get a cut from here based off the reviews I saw but unfortunately my haircut was very disappointing. My hair was very patchy and the back was not lined correctly. I really do hate giving bad reviews but I've never experienced a haircut such as the one I received. I just wanted to leave an honest review to caution anyone else planning on getting a haircut here. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe the barber who cut my hair was just not as experienced with different hair textures so if you do want to give this place a try maybe aim to receive a haircut from the owner, Chris, as a lot of the reviews seem to more reflect his skills. However, Zitro does have a good atmosphere and friendly service but in the end customers are here for the haircut and my haircut experience at Zitro was not great. read more

Chris Ajamian is the best barber I've had! He very high quality work and takes his time to make sure he does a good job and gets it the way I want it every time. Super good guy as well. Highly recommend to everyone. read more

Chris and his crew are extremely professional and give great hair cuts! Highly recommended!

Was visiting Fresno on a business trip and wanted to try this barbershop out based off of the reviews I saw. I got my haircut by Chris Ajamian and received one of the best haircuts I've received in a long time. My hairline was crispy and the fade had a nice blend. If I lived in this area he would for sure be my guy. Good shop overall, will be back eventually. read more

Alex is very professional and provides an excellent service! Highly recommended. Shop is very clean and everyone is super friendly.

Great affordable cuts from these barbers. Bubba fit me in between appointments and makes checking the schedule easy online. Great location in old town Clovis and they always have parking when I go in after work. read more

I usually get my cut from my usual guy but he was booked on my short notice but thankfully I found a slot open at Zitro Barbershop with Modesto. It was my first time here and first impressions were very positive. The space was done nicely. High ceilings, bright and open airy feel and modern decor. Can't hate on that. Loving the vibes there. Bonus points on using the harbor freight tool carts as the stations. Super cool idea. Also the music wasn't being blasted like some barbershops I've been to before. I once went to a shop where the place was blastic the music where you almost had to yell and that kills the barber/client communication which is almost always part of the experience, so props on keeping that in check. Anyways, I went here on a Saturday and was surprisingly dead with only Modesto working his appointments. Plenty of parking in the private lot which I guess could vary depending if there are events being held in Old Town Clovis. I got in about 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment but Modesto was not finished with his previous guy. I didn't go up until about 25 minutes later, which is cool because I wasn't in a rush but I know could pose a problem in other circumstances. Modesto informed me it was a more difficult client with special requests and I believed him because I was there to see the last 25 minutes of it. I got my hair cut and no complaints. Modesto was cool to talk to also which helps the overall experience of getting a haircut. I tend to stick to one guy and rarely do I move around when it comes to where I go to cut my hair, but now I have another to pick from. read more

Chris Ajamian is a master barber. Chris has been cutting my hair and my son's hair for the last seven months. As far as I'm concerned, he will be doing it for the rest of our lives. He offers an awesome straight razor beard shave. Lastly, the barber shop has a good atmosphere, I love coming here. read more

I was visiting the area and desperately needed a cut. It's always intimidating trying to find a new barber after having the same one for 5 years, but Chris gave me exactly what I wanted. Very clean shop with welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. read more

If you need a fresh cut & want to feel like a new man, this is the place for you! I walk in looking like Oscar the Grouch & leave looking like Count von Count. Chris has been cutting my hair & trimming my beard for a while & he's top notch. As expected, his new endeavor & new place is also top notch! What I love is that he has taken the time to get to know me beyond just being a paying customer. He always takes that extra step to make sure I leave fresh. He takes his time and is very detailed. It really is an experience to get a nice beard trim, straight razor & hot towel. The works! This place isn't just for the fellas. Nicole cut my hair many moons ago & she always did a phenomenal job. She's cut hair for a few lady friends & they've always been super happy & come out looking like princesses! I can't wait to see this place grow & become THE place to go to for your barber/haircut needs. read more

Excellent haircut with an excellent vibe as well. The guys there definitely know their stuff. Gave a vague answer to what I wanted and he still got me looking fresh after the cut. The place is a bit pricier than I usually go for at 25 for a cut but the guy did a good job so I can't really complain there read more

Greg is an awesome barber because of his attention to detail and welcoming attitude. After going to the same barber for years, I was hesitant about going to someone new but Greg surpassed my expectations! Overall, the price is right, the shop is clean, and the decor matches the quality of the haircut. 10/10 would recommend going to Zitro Barbershop. Thank you Greg! read more

Only been a few times for a shave, but Chris does a great job and the price is solid. Absolutely no complaints and will keep coming back.

Was in town for a wedding. Got a walk in haircut and beard trim early morning on a Saturday from barber, Chris. I Loved the cut! Chris is super detail oriented, and a professional. Glad we crossed paths. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately I really hate leaving bad reviews but I got a haircut today at Zitro from Modest Lo and I have to say it was pretty bad. He trimmed my beard and forgot to even blend it in with my sideburns. Didnt fade the back of my neck like I asked, and there were long stray hairs left after the cut. He shaved my beard and didnt cut it in very well. Overall the barber shop was clean and the guy was really nice, but gave me the worse haircut I've had in about 10 years... sorry guys. Hope your shop will improve in the future. read more

I've been getting my hair cut here for a while now, and I really enjoyed it. However, my usual barber left the shop and we all know that uncertain stage where we're not sure how our hairs going to look the next time it gets cut by someone new. So, I decided to just walk in and get a haircut by whoever was available, and am happy to say that I'm impressed! Every barber in this place does a great job and the atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely would recommend getting your next cut here! read more

If you're looking for a good haircut and friendly hospitality, this is the place to go!

A barber shop or place you get your hair cut or styled should be a place where you relax, unwind and treat yourself. I have to say this place does it. I've gone here about 3 times now and each time has been memorable. Its small but I think the fact that it's small adds to how personal it is. Highly recommend if you are searching for that "one place" to get a haircut. 2 guys work here. I get a haircut from Modest and he has not disappoint. Highly recommend coming here read more

Great haircut and great atmosphere. They have an adorable dog as a mascot and don't do that thing where you feel pressured to have an annoying conversation with your barber. Looking forward to my next haircut there. read more

If you are looking for a professional barbershop where their let their clippers do the talking--this is the spot.

If you wanna feel relaxed and fresh you should go here, not rush you very detailed service, definitely recemmended.

Chris always gives the most dapper cuts and is a super nice guy. He takes time with each client and gives them exactly what they want. Not like the older barbers that only have two styles: buzz or shave; he gives a unique style and look to each cut. Highly recommend. read more
