Well, a few days later two of the guys come back (while I'm running errands) and tell my employee that they left their DeWalt battery here (which they didn't)...so, they help themselves to the area where we keep our tools, and take the DeWalt CHARGER, and tell my employee that it is theirs. When I get back to my shop, my employee tells me what happened, and I call their shop immediately. The lady who I speak with on the phone says that they just arrived at the shop. So she asks them if they had just come back from my shop, and they say yes, that they took the charger, but were looking for a battery they left here. When I said that the charger is mine, and there were no batteries left behind, they began to argue, I could hear them in the background. I said, "listen, I know they were looking for a battery they left behind, so they had no right to take my charger, can I please have it back? I've had it for almost 5 years now, and I know what I have, and what is missing." She said that I could come pick it up from their shop! (they also broke our radio, but did not tell us! We didn't notice until we started moving things back where they belonged, and that's when we saw what they had done.)

They spent considerable time with me explaining how to compare units, what size I would need and other things that frankly, I would never have otherwise understood. They were able to remove my old unit and install the new one in a day. The new unit has been EXCELLENT this long, hot, summer---quiet, efficient and economical to operate. The technicians they sent out were friendly and knowledgeable and kept me informed all during the process. I really can't say enough good about this local, small business. Overpriced! Scratched my stainless steel refrigerator holding pex line against it. Chipped my tub…read moreworking in bathroom. Installed pex in garage. Didn't need to change that steel pipe out at all behind washing machine. Now Pex won't hold the water behind washing machine when it freezes into frost cold low 20's and winters are a nightmare. Outside faucet leaked one year later into winter and this was one year after outside faucet was replaced and all this work was done by Marquez plumbing. The whole job just caused future problems.
