The moment you walk into this shop what you will find is a little bit of everything using this man as the main focus. It's really fun and cool. I mean, this shop really has it all: tee-shirts, cups, glasses, plates, pillows, umbrellas, you name it... Pretty much anything you can think of featuring an Amplemann they have it for sale. Plus, even, The Hoff, David Hasselhoff has visited this shop as they have his photo on the wall taken inside the shop. This is an open and airy shop and the staff is always happy to help you. I am floored by the amount of books, in every single category imaginable. Yes, they have a large children's section. There is a giant plush figure standing near a black pole in front of the children's books. I checked out each floor. I'm a sucker for novelty items, which they have plenty of. They sell multiple models of Polaroid cameras and film. Tons of calendars in different formats. Their vinyl room is on the ground floor, in the back. The store is sleek, clean, and organized. If you're in Berlin, I recommend visiting this store.

Beyond an insane collection of books, they also have tons of very unique novelty items that make great gifts or, something for yourself-- something that you never knew you needed. This shop is a multilevel business. They have multiple floors with books and other items on every floor. Plus, it is just stuffed full with an insane amount of books covering all varieties to quench your reading experience. As mentioned, they are much more than just an incredible bookstore. They also have a great selection of vinyl. So, for all of you vinyl enthusiasts, this is a great place to go and find that unique piece of music that you've wanted either very recently or all the way back to when you were young. It's really hard to explain just how much this store offers. I mean, if you're looking for a specific book, it's more than likely they will have. And, if they don't, they can most likely get it for you. Dussmann's great places to sit around and take a look at that book you may be interested in purchasing. You can find candles, home decor stuff, paper weights and some small kitchen wares (bowls, colorful napkins,etc) they also have a clothing section with the basics: t shirts, blouses and scarves. We bought these awesome cocktail mixers (Ibiza and Strawberry colada -- just add alcohol) as souvenirs for our friends back home. It's compact and encased in glass so no need to worry about hand carrying it. I also bought some cute hand made jewelry for my cousin and her friend who were so generous to host a brunch for us at their home. Harmony, you made shopping such a pleasurable experience for this girl who hates to shop. Keep it up!

So drop in a show a bit of support for the L Werk and its various workshops and partners. The merchandise on offer is of the highest quality and beautifully crafted. You can also find some tasteful, less touristy looking Berlin souvenirs. You can find lovely wooden toys for the kids, funky ceramics for the kitchen, presents for the guys and gals in your life, even pillows with Berlin street prints. For something more personal you can even find items of jewellery for your loved ones or yourself ;). There is also great selection of gift cards and wrapping paper to accompany your present. Well worth the visit. Have a good potter around as you never know what gems you might find hidden in the corners of this store.
