I had to make a Xmas return, it was from a relative who only sees me 2-3 times per year, and never in the types of clothes she decides to give me as a gift. I usually donate them but this one had a tag and I was told Kohl's would take it back. No gift receipt mind you, but a tag at least..... With Covid I've put off replacing some wardrobe items so I thought that with the credit I'd buy a pair of jeans. The return was simple, 2 employees were manning customer service and it was relatively slow still. The kind woman asked if I had a receipt and I told her no, she had to give me the lowest recent price($7.99! If you were curious) and I laughed. She helpfully tried to explain that it was the policy and not her fault. She misunderstood my laugh and I explained that I was not upset by this, it seemed about right for this relative. That's probably what they paid.... So I took my $8(thoughtfully rounded up by this employee) and went pants shopping. The selection of Levi's was vast, along with other possible candidates. The sale was buy 1 get 1 half off. So I figured why not. I was happy with the savings and was kind of expecting to pay more. And I think that's been my experience even at other locations. Those times have been for housewares and linens. I still beat up a Dyson I got a great deal on from a now extinct Kohls. The checkout was quick and friendly too, and with some kind of coupon to lure me back in. It might work....

We were only there to help the kids and grandkids do some "back to school" clothes shopping. Their clothing selection is very good as are their prices. My wife is always able to find special discounts via her Kohls credit card or other promotional items which leave her with the feeling that she was able to get the clothing for almost nothing. I personally haven't been inside a Kohls in at least 5 years so I'm not the best reference for the store vibe or layout. I was surprised at the checkout process. It seemed to go very quickly, but I could also see that it could be an issue during the holidays. Maybe? Maybe not! The self checkout is somewhat automated where it lets you know when the next kiosk is open. Self checkout is the way to go. It was quick and painless.

And for that I have to give all the credit to Kerri Villani my Senior Sales Consultant, that's who this review and the five star rating is about, she made this easy and painless. The first thing she asked me was what was I looking for and she wasn't talking model, I told her I wanted to lower my monthly payment. She explained a few numbers to me, we agreed on the money down and she said give me a minute. Kerri came back with a price $35 lower than my current monthly payment. The deal was done. No haggling, no negotiations, no multiple trips to see what the Sales Manager said. My wife recently got a different make car, that deal took seven hours. Seven hours! I was back in my kitchen with my new Honda parked outside in three hours. Kerri Villani is the best! And I look forward to saying that about Hamilton Honda too. So far first impressions are excellent, after all they allow Kerri to conduct business in the style she does. That and my Civic came with free oil changes and free car washes for as long as I have the car. We're off to a great start!

There, you see endless rows of fresh Korean pears so full and plentiful!! And they even have an abundance of ladders available for you to use to pick the pears. Their price was $74.99 -- just a $5.02 difference -- yet I was given two different reasons for refusing the price match. I still made the purchase, but this left a bad impression. I'd like management to review the transaction, clarify why the policy wasn't honored, and refund the $5.02 if the price match qualified.
