All Walgreens stores use an automated phone system that states, "I can help...." This system tries…read morevery hard to keep you from talking to anyone in the pharmacy. This system is coupled with a phone messaging system that keeps you informed about the status of your prescription. The problem is that the employees completely ignore the system because they don't like it either; several employees have admitted this. Over time with many instances I have learned not to trust the system. I have one very common prescription that is almost never kept in stock and they always assure me, "it will be on the next delivery truck" . sometimes it is sometimes not. If it is not, they never contact you. You have to contact them.... if you can get past the automated system. There is always a great turnover in techs at this store. New people are not trained very well; sometimes they try to charge for something that should be no charge. If you question them about this you often get an attitude. After 3 years of trying to figure out their system I have realized that they really don't care. All you get is attitude and obfuscation. So, I just transferred to a different pharmacy. I would highly highly recommend Cvs and skip Walgreens altogether. Actually, I've been most pharmacies in Branson when I first moved here I would say the women pharmacist on a regular basis are the most pleasant pharmacist I've met, including Springfield. I take several prescriptions. I would say the stress of people who have had surgery or had someone in their family that's had surgery just make them crabby or maybe they've had no experiences with pharmacies now. Everything is electronically handled and no longer a written prescriptions. I'm a very very crabby person generally but not any complaints here!
