Can't believe I didn't know about it sooner! My favorites that I tried during my visit were the Catfish sandwich, the Rasta Pasta with jerk salmon (pasta was more garlic forward than jerk but still bomb), honey old bay wings, the Cajun salmon was also great! Highly recommend checking them out! Perfect to catch a game, date night or celebrate with friends. It's a very clean and nicely decorated sports bar/ restaurant in pig town.

Really was excited to try this place for brunch/lunch since I saw it on IG. The location is so…read morerandom to me but there was parking so that was good. We came in and it was quite empty but we were greeted by the bartender. I immediately saw that you would have to order drinks by soda can (ok cool). The menu was VERY LIMITED. I could count on one hand how many options you have to choose from (maybe all 10 fingers). We did not order drinks, as soon as I was about to I saw the bartender making a mimosa with orange juice that comes in the gallon jug from dollar tree. I was immediately turned off. I ended up ordering the chicken and waffle which was good but I ate and left. I would not return, the vibes aren't on my level as far as products used and the ambiance was kind of weird too. Like ghostly. At least I can say I tried.

We went on a day with a Lego event and paid $20 per adult and $12 for our 4 year old and I found there was plenty to do for a morning and it felt worth the cost. We had been to a Trolley Museum and the B&O Museum in old Ellicott City and this was way better than either of those. There was plenty to explore for at least half of a day. For super young kids there was a kids indoor area and a small outdoor playground. There were tons of model trains, small and medium, indoor and outdoor. I would definitely go to this museum on days where it isn't raining because there is just as much to do outside as there is inside. They have tons of full size trains. You can explore the inside of some of them and they have different themes and things you can learn about. The Lego event we went to was super simple and run really well. All the kids were being super creative and persistent and having a blast building cars and racing them down a large ramp. We will definitely be back at some point.

More than 20 homes were open for visitors with plenty of cookies to munch on. Even though the weather was a bit dreary, there was a good crowd enjoying the holiday warmth found in each open house. Seeing the park restoration was an added bonus this year and, of course, the H. L. Mencken House was open - a rare treat. The tour returns each year on the second Sunday of December - this year was the 27th event. It's interesting to return each year since some of the homes return and one can see the annual improvements. In addition, new homes are added each year as new residents move in, make renovations, and show the results of their efforts. It's a real tribute to city living contrasted against the negative perceptions many may have about the urban experience. Many visitors are former residents of the area or had family connections with grandparents who used to live in this historic district. It's also a pleasant surprise to see how many are first-time attendees with several from far outside the Baltimore Metro area. It's an annual must-see family-friendly afternoon event leading up to all the Christmas celebrations.
