I am a woman in my 50's, and was nervous and scared to be in this situation over 100 miles from home. The two attendants on duty stayed with me for over an hour and a half until a tow truck arrived to change my tire. They waited until they saw me leave, even though it was almost midnight. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe where they easily could have just closed up and gone home. I am very grateful for these two gentlemen. Thank you!

Like other Love's, the pump area was wide and with a high cover. The station was easily accessible even for larger vehicles on the auto side and then there's the truck side that I didn't visit. Snacks, grilled roller meat, grab-and-go fresh stuff, coolers of drinks, candy and such, some gift items and in the truck area, all sorts of truck accessories. The restrooms were decently clean. Overall, a positive experience and I'll continue to patronize Love's happily. [Review 20589 overall - 123 in Indiana - 1570 of 2023.]

I also had got a slice of cheese pizza since I was hungry the prices of these items were not bad at all especially to be at a gas station. There were two different restaurants inside the store. I was not too fond of the pizza. It was not the best but it was okay due to me buying it and I don't believe in wasting food. Plus I was hungry. The employee was friendly and she explained the different deals that the store was offering which she didn't have to do. The bathroom was clean and you really couldn't tell it was a bathroom utilized a lot. If you stop here you will be okay especially if you like Cinnabons and need to utilize the bathroom. My next time I drive up I will stop here again.

There are cheaper places in town to get gas, but they are either old and beat up, obscure and coop owned, or crazy mobbed (talking about your Kroger's gas station). I'm sure it's not an accident that Family Express is cleaner and kept up better because they are the first and last gas station tourists see in and out of town, so despite being on a busy corner, it's pretty easy to get in and out of the gas station and there's plenty of room to turn around, if need be. It's also great if you are towing a large boat, two jet skis or are driving an RV. No other place in town offers as much room.
