This is probably my favorite Bargin Hunt in the Knoxville area. If you haven't been this is…read morebasically a deal lovers dream. Everything is marked with a date, the longer its been there, the more discount the item has. As you enter you will find a sheet of paper that has the dates on it and shows you how much of discount you will get. I have found many things deep discounted and I love to shop here. I have found everything from my favorite designer condition in a large bottle (score!) to my big screen T.V. It does have a very "flea market" vibe to it, but I don't mind! They get a lot of Target things along with dented items and broken boxes. You have 30 days to return whatever you purchase in case it doesn't work! I love Bargin Hunt and consider the Maryville location my favorite.

They had all sorts of random…read morestuff, including some really great items, at great prices and with the setup that the prices start dropping after it's been on the shelves for 30 days. Now that the company has opened up so many stores, I think the "good" stuff is getting spread around much thinner. There are still the occasional good bargains that show up, but not nearly as often, and I've started noticing them putting FUTURE dates on their tags. Everything is dated on the 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month, so I can get if an item dated, say, 9/20 gets put out sometime after 9/10...but when items are being put out with a date a month (or sometimes more!) in advance, it seems a little disingenuous to advertise prices go down after they've been there for 1 month when that clock doesn't start for some time to come. Admittedly, this location isn't *quite* as bad about this as the Knoxville location seems to be, but it is still a bit of an issue. They are still a great place to find occasional clothing bargains (my wife frequently finds decent items that have reached 90% off the marked price), but they've not had as many cool electronics and gadgets, which I am generally more interested in.

Pop in and get what I need, then I'm out the door and on my way to my next stop. This shopping set up affords me exactly that... I can see all of the stores from the parking lot, find the ones I want to go, and avoid the ones I don't want to go to; I can go directly to those stores shop to get what I got to get and leave. It was tax free weekend, unbeknown to us, that made it even more crowded that we expected. They had some folks "attempting" to direct traffic, not sure where they found them or if anyone had instructed them on how to do this job because it was chaos from the minute we pulled into the area. The prices were not impressive at any of the stores we visited. Disney was typically priced for any of their stores, Old Navy had better sales at our local store than the outlet, Toys R Us was a joke, Janie and Jack had a few good buys, shoe stores didn't impress us either. We had 2 younger children with us that were getting hot and very bored. I wish there had been a few more spots to sit and chill for them. Nike and Abercrombie had some decent buys. Overall, not worth the hassle trying to find a place to park, the stores were overly crowded, merchandise on the floors and not enough people working to keep the check outs moving at a decent pace. I love shopping here every other time I have been here so it must have been the time of the year that made it so underwhelming and yet overwhelming at the same time.
