I just have to stop there on my way to check out to see what's cooking. LOL... Really like their fried chicken & often times, I'll get fresh sliced turkey or chicken, rather than that in the cold units. It seems to last longer & certainly tastes fresher. Only given 4 stars due to food costs. The 1st time I shopped here I got sticker shock!! I'm from Calif & it was a real wake up call!! However... KUDOS to the market related to the size of the town. H&B Trading Post is the perfect place to grab a few Yellowstone, Buffalo Bill, and/or Wyoming…read moresouvenirs if you're in the Cody, WY vicinity. I came in here to ask for a Cody downtown area map and ended up carrying on a conversation with the super friendly employees, glancing at their large store FULL of local arts and souvenirs and buying a few knick-knacks. Unlike other businesses in the area, they allowed me to take a picture of the renowned Jackalopes they had hanging on the wall for sale. If you're asking what a Jackalope is, well today's your lucky day. It's an imaginary Wild West animal of folklore and a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope (or goat or deer) which is usually portrayed as a rabbit with antlers. H&B has 'em for sale if that's what you're "hunting" out during your Wild West ventures. --See a picture of one under the business listings-- Also what's unique is that the owners of H&B get to know, firsthand, the artists, craftsmen and people who created the unique and special works of art that they sell to the public. Again, they have everything from buffalo heads, clothing, dolls, dreamcatchers, drums, jewelry, pottery, and more! With all that said, "May the sound of the flute play in your hearts as you enter each day" (as their website reads).

Everyone in the Lovell location also met my mom looking for that perfect recliner. They were all "too big or too hard, or not the right color." On their Cody adventure, she found the Perfect One!! Sat in it, loved it, and would have fallen asleep in it if they would have let her. Awesome, the Haskell Crew loaded up a Brand New one 'still in the box' for my husband to bring over to Powell a couple days later. Although my husband was excited to see the brand new one 'still in the box', my mom was not. She wanted the one she sat in. She tried the new one for one night.
