My cousin brought me here to shop and they gave her the key so she could show me things I liked in glass cases; they were so trusting and friendly. I like to put things on and walk around a bit, to see if I find something else to replace it by the time I am ready to check out, so a lot of switches happened. However, after I had chosen my treasures, I noticed I still had a ring on my finger! I would have walked out with it. They laughed, examined the ring, and actually threw it in with all the other purchases. So nice. My dad offered to pay for a more expensive set I loved, and I would pay for some smaller items myself, but when we got up to the counter he shoved everything to the salesman (habit, I guess) so I thought he was just going to pay for everything after all. Typical of him. While he was settling the bill I was asking the names of all the stones so I could write them down. They put them in boxes and we left. A few minutes later my dad asked if I had paid for the other pieces; he didn't recall shoving everything to the salesman; we checked the receipt and they had only charged us for one set, so we called my cousin. She said they had just called her because they forgot to charge us. We were horrified! I joked that I guess I was determined to steal something from them! But it's no joke, it was awful! my dad dropped us at El Rancho hotel because we wanted to look around and he went back to pay them. They were so nice, he said. A few days later, we went back to pick up my fathers' broken turquoise watch band they had fixed for him, and also were hoping to buy some bracelets for my niece since the ones she loved in Santa Fe were high priced compared to what we paid in Gallup. They invited us in to shop some more and laughed about the incident a few days earlier. They said they didn't think for a second that I had stolen it, they understood what had happened. That made me feel so much better, I would hate for them to think I would do that to them! Anyway, I hope to shop here again, their merchandise is lovely. I have not stopped wearing it and I get compliments every day. :)

I asked if they would refund the shipping since it took longer than promised. The manager Diane indicated she was ok with losing a customer over $7.00. It is really principle and good customer service. The sheep head had little meat, on its face, dry and nothing but bone, smaller heads. Ribs: were short and tiny rack, blood coming out of them so I asked if they were done and I was told they were but never have I seen bloody mutton ribs. Navajos don't do rare, med well, it's gotta be cooked completely with zero blood existing on the mutton. We drove many hrs to come here, left disappointed. This place is famous for its roasted meats, it's not like it was when we stopped there with the grandparents. I missed the crispy roasted fat, meat was almost like jerky on the outside and soft and juicy when you take a bite. Please someone fix this. We drove home was not quite the same bc we traveled many hrs to eat mutton and we couldn't due to the bloody ribs. All the candies and pastries that I had missed were all available, the big red peanut patties, hot pickles, cracker jacks, popcorn balls, Little Debbies, hostess, and we found a 50 pound bluebird flour...which was the biggest we have ever seen.
