You literally just stand there while waiting for someone to stop ignoring you even though they are looking right at you. *shrugs* Just watch out for the girl that throws the clipboard, you might catch her in a super bad mood one day and get the wrong end of the clipboard. If the front office doesn't scare you away, come to see Dr. Vu. He is a really nice guy and has a nice bedside manner. So no be afraid of asking him questions. They hardly ever greet you when you go to the window and half the time you have to stand there for a while before someone even acknowledges you. Recently I've had a couple experiences with talking to them on the phone also and they were just as rude. However, Dr. Mai is great! I can say he's one of the best doctors I've had. He is very sweet and tries his best to accommodate your needs. He answers all of my questions and doesn't ever seem to get agitated with me. He is the reason why I still come here.

She listens, is thoughtful with her responses. She has made positive life changes for me. The staff is fantastic. Tanya handles the front desk, she is always super helpful and friendly. This is a very busy office, patient's have to manage their expectations. I dont know if I could maintain such a calm demenor if I were her. Rocky handles the lab but so much more. She's funny and efficient. A great combination. I hate getting blood drawn but she never hurts and always manages to distract me. Blaise is also great. It is like having an extension of your family. But remember, what you put out is what you get. Do not expect lightning fast service, they are not machines. Think of them as a small town doctor's office in a big city. I've never really enjoyed going to doctors offices. You have to make the appt waaaaaay in advance, fill out a ton of paperwork, and then seemingly wait forever while the doctor meets with you for all of 90 seconds. When I moved back to NOLA, I decided to try and find a doctor which bucked that trend. I did my research online and found this guy through the GLMA website. I called and made an appointment for a new patient. It was a 1.5 month wait which was actually better than I expected based on my experience with doctors in the DC area/Montgomery County. Anyways, Dr. Bowers and his staff were patient, compassionate, and listened to my questions and concerns. I really liked how nothing felt rushed and I was able to get all the information I needed. His nurse was really nice and helpful as well, advising me on the best way to book appointments in the future when I needed them (I'm sooooo bad with names, otherwise I'd mention it). I also like how, like many other practices, they send prescriptions electronically, so there is one less piece of paper to lose. I'm really happy to have finally found a PCP that I'm comfortable with and isn't a total PITA to access, even when you take into account the drive over the CCC (ugh).

Showed up to my appointment and upon check-in the staff informed me they do not accept my insurance…read more(tricare). The frustration is unreal on my end, I had communicated multiple times with the staff prior to my appointment and it would have been great to know prior to the appointment that they wouldn't take my insurance. Staff showed zero concern or fault for it either, they just asked who I spoke to (which was different people via email, so they could have looked in their system). We are a military family without friends/family to help with childcare. My ability as a stay at home mom to see a doctor is extremely difficult and involves my husband having to take off work to stay with kids. So an entire afternoon was taken off by my husband so I could attend this appointment, all for nothing.
