I'd say it's good if you actually need to be there. But otherwise, I think the niceness kind of…read moremasks the money grabbing behavior that I experienced. Based on my annual checkup, my general practitioner had noticed a very slightly positive result for autoimmune disease, so she recommended I go to a rheumatologist to get tested just in case. The copay was $73 (there's no fee if you pay with cash - I don't go to doctors often but I've never heard of a cash discount at one). The staff and doctors are super nice, and it's a nice building. It's adjacent to Culver City, after all. We reviewed my results in-person at the next appointment a couple weeks later. There was nothing indicating I had an autoimmune disease and basically no concerns because I wasn't displaying any symptoms, but they had me book another appointment. I honestly didn't know what I was going for (mentioning again that I don't really go to doctors because don't really have symptoms), but since I wasn't charged for the results appointment for visit #2, I just went with it. For this third appointment, I had to pay another $73 copay and I did bloodwork again. I was given my results over the phone this time. And then a fourth appointment was scheduled for a few months later. However, I've finally realized that they'll just keep scheduling appointments, have me pay these copays as well as Labcorp who interprets the bloodwork, probably until forever. Even though again, *I am not displaying any symptoms." It wasn't until my friend who actually has an autoimmune disease was like, "Why are you going? I literally only go when I have symptoms." So like I said in the beginning - I'm sure it's a great place if you actually need to go because you're experiencing pain, discomfort, and other symptoms. But if you're generally healthy and the only suggestions they have for you are to take Vitamin D and K12 pills, consume more Vitamin C, and ice your knee after you workout if you feel any slight pain, then you're probably good to sit this out. Also want to note that even if you make an appointment, you could be sitting for 45 minutes. I'll never understand that about doctor appointments. If you're 10 minutes late, it's a huge deal. But if you arrive on time and then you sit for 30+ minutes, it's just accepted. So in terms of parking pro-tips - there's parking across Venice in the neighborhoods and the parking garage a block away gives you one hour free. But again, that can be risky since the wait time is unpredictable.

We are truly so grateful we found Dr. Nasseri and his team!…read more Dr. Nasseri is an incredibly talented and trustworthy surgeon, but what stood out just as much was the kindness and compassion he showed my family. Cancer is a scary, uncertain thing to face. We came to every appointment with a list of questions, and he'd answer them before we even had the chance to ask. He was thorough about everything we needed to know, and for the first time, we felt real confidence during a frightening time. Other surgeons we were referred to weren't willing to take on my grandfather's surgery, so finding Dr. Nasseri felt like a true turning point for us. The surgery went perfectly, truly the best-case scenario, and he was able to avoid needing an ostomy bag, which meant the world to us, a we were so worried about this before. At 91, my grandpa's recovery has been remarkably smooth, and we've honestly been surprised by how well he's healing. We really feel so lucky to have found Dr. Nasseri. We also want to thank Kristine and Mayra on his staff. From booking the consultation to sorting out insurance to scheduling surgery and follow-ups, they were kind, patient, and went above and beyond every step of the way. From consultation to surgery to post-op care, Dr. Nasseri and his team have been nothing short of the best. We can't recommend them highly enough!!!

We'll start with the office. Quick responses, easy scheduling, short wait times for appointments, always seen on time. Great communication. Then the doctor. It had been a years long journey of pain and helplessness, and within a minute of talking to him, I felt completely reassured that things were finally about to get better. He told me I was a great candidate for surgery, but of course you want to exhaust all other options first so he sent me to pain management and PT. The referrals went through quickly and when those options were tried and failed, he brought me back in and scheduled the surgery for one month out. From then on, I had a contact in the office who was always available to answer questions about prep and timelines and post op, etc. My insurance wanted to put me in a crap hospital, and he personally went to bat with them and convinced them to cover the surgery at one of the best hospitals in the state. The surgery was executed to perfection. It was a big one. Eight hours of which could only be described as a reconstruction of my spine. They had me up and walking immediately after the surgery, (which I have absolutely no recollection of), but I spent five days in the hospital, walking around more and more each day. They sent me home in a big back brace. I stayed with family for two nights and approximately one week after the surgery I was back home living on my own. Now I'm a month out and he just cleared me to resume full activity and to start PT. Oh, and I should probably mention that the surgery worked! All my pain is gone! I've got the spine of an 18 year old! Not only that but the incision (which was massive. Probably close to 2 feet long) is totally healed. There's almost no sign of it. I was expecting (maybe hoping, yeah, I'm that kind of guy) to have a nice juicy scar, but it's gonna heal up like nothing ever happened. I was in intense, chronic pain for years and it's gone! I had a couple follow ups with the office and now I'm about to go into PT and this year's long journey is about to come to an end. Thanks to Dr Nagasawa.
