It is a family run place so you shop in a friendly atmosphere with help allways on hand.There is a good choice of food and other stuff . the kind of thing you suddenly think of and want to pop out for. They have sandwiches and also newspapers so you can pop round for your lunch and put your feet up to read the paper having been servsd with them in a nice place.It's not far from chidrens play area so is handy for Mums too.

Because queuing close to the counter would block the aisle people stand back to wait. if somebody arrives and doesn't realise what happens it is all sorted in a friendly fashion,quite a change to some places.The people behind the counter are all friendly and helpfull and the store has a car park which is a big help.Parking ,shopping and post office all at one go!

Very peaceful, handy for touring the Wolds and for birdwatchers on the coast. Great breakfast, very nice owners.
