Their policy on parking needs to be updated This is misleading
    Rob W.

I wanted to share my disappointment in what was written online in regard to Fallsview's "complimentary" parking This is very misleading and false We ended up shopping at the Galleria and went to two stores on the list below We ended up spending over $50 in items between two of the stores listed..... When we went to the Momentum booth to get the complimentary self parking we were told it can't be between two stores and has to be one bill instead from one store Nowhere on this advertising does it state that it has to be one bill from one store Not happy and nothing was done about it Would suggest that you update your website details about this "complimentary" parking We shopped just to get the free parking and to get told this is truly disheartening as the price of parking here alone is quite high

We had a really nice one night stay at Fallsview Casino Resort Hotel. We were staying in a falls view room on the 28th floor. It had a very nice view of the falls and we could hear the water flowing; the room was very tidy and the beds were very comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful; We received a voucher for the night parking on our way out, so we didn't have to pay for the parking.

An Enjoyable Stay at Fallsview Casino Resort Depends on Who You Are and What Your Interests Are If You Gamble, you get Perks provided you Gamble at a minimum every 90 Days. The Perks/Comps Include Free Concerts Free Rooms Free Food Free Spa The Word "Free" is Operative and if you can find a way to Gamble and NOT Lose (or lose very little) these Perks/Comps can be very Substantial and Very Rewarding. If You prefer the "Resort" aspect, You can achieve a Pleasant stay by not Gambling and simply Pay for Services, Food and Accommodations on Your Own. You can always find Deals and Offers through any Hotel App and Tourism Website. Take advantage of Them. Otherwise if you are on a Budget, you might blow it in 24 Hours The Entire Fallsview Casino Resort Complex is Self Contained. The Spa is Lovely. However the Public HotTub and Pool is often an unpleasant experience. Everything from kids pudding in both, to parents washing their kids in the Whirlpool, to Weaves and Dirt floating in the Whirlpool to the Pool area unkempt. With the insane high Tourist Traffic, you get a few Retailers who are NOT very warm nor welcoming. It's sad. Because it's part of the job in Tourism to be Warm and Welcoming to All Who Enter. But. Whatever you want to Eat or Purchase is all Here. The only thing you cannot buy at the Resort is a Car. And Pets. But pretty much everything else is available for purchase *wink* (if you get my drift...) And All places, while most have a High Price Point - Do Offer Deals and Discounts. If You Eat inside Casino Restaurants, please be kind to all Service Staff and Remember to Tip as their Shifts are long and often their Customers aren't the most pleasant. That INCLUDES Housekeeping. Enjoy Your Stay.

No wifi inside the casino? No free drinks while gambling! Very little staff walking around to take drink orders for purchase. The rewards program seems very blah! The bathrooms were very large which I loved! When we finally found a bar in the middle of the casino. The bartender was very sweet, and funny! Great personality. We did have a machine take our $20. We called for service, and a young lady came and helped us right away and exchanged our torn $20 allowing us to actually play on the machine. Overall we had a great time. I would come back again.

Attended the Fallsveiw food and drink celebrity food festival. It was located in their grand hall. Space was large. The decor was beautiful. Very spacious. The event was easy to maneuver through. The staff was very friendly. They stayed on top of making sure of plates needed to be removed or if we needed anything. For all my foodies and food network junkies this is a do not miss event. Everyone I told we were going thought the price was too high. We paid 225 (candian), per ticket. It was well worth the price. (Getting to meet Rooco DiSpirito was worth the 200 bucks!). The food was amazing, and there was tons of it. No one could have left hungry. There are a variety of local wineries and breweries, and tons of adult beverage choices were to be had. I highly recommend foodie fans to check out the event next year!

Popped in just for fun. Just walked through the shops and stopped into the Iris Galerie which I had my eye scanned and decided to buy a print. Moseyed around the casino and threw 20 on black on the roulette table and won. Walked away happy. Would have played poker but didn't come up for that. Another time.

Really pleased to find the casino smoke-free contrary to ones I've been to in the states. It was eerie how we saw at most 3 people outside of the building, there was no indication of how lively it is inside. Baccarat is inside the VIP room. You see the penny slots to the $5 slots (of course, CAD). Yes, I witnessed a man drop $100 on a machine in 20 plays. I saw some tables with dealers sitting in front of a screen with players looking at their individual screens in their own seats. Wasn't crowded on a Tuesday evening.

Its original name was Niagara Fallsview Casino and Resort eons ago. I used to work for a company in the casino industry and had to write a brief summary of each casino where we had our products. These days, it has thankfully shortened its name to Fallsview Casino Resort. Better late than never! I have never been a gambler. I go to casinos mainly because I tend to see shows and concerts at their music venue. It is the case here. I tend to see concerts at the Avalon Theatre. Recently, I was there to see Richard Marx. It's a cozy venue to hear and watch live acts perform, complete with a bar and coat check. This casino is nice. There are tons of machines and games to play. There are ATMs if you need to use one. You can sign up for a card that gets you discounts and points on everything, including parking discounts. Speaking of parking, it does get expensive parking at this casino's parking lot. I spent $40 to park my car just to see Richard Marx. It's not cheap, but it is close by. It was a cold night. My usual routine is to park farther away and walk over. I wasn't feeling it on this particular night, especially after getting over a cold and being highly congested. I shelled out. No regrets. The parking procedure is that you park first. When you are about to leave, find a machine by inserting your parking ticket and then paying. I paid with a debit card and was fine. Parking machines are located on the fifth and seventh floors. I was on the eighth. I took the elevator down, paid for parking, and took it up at around 11 pm on a Saturday night. I had no problem finding a parking spot. Parking is colour-coded with letters and aisle numbers, which helped me out a lot. Shopping is fancy and nice at the casino. The Gallery Shops is the shopping area where you can get everything from momentos at Christmas in Niagara Falls, leather accessories and coats from Danier (yep, it exists), popcorn at Kernels (it was tough for me to leave without some), and more. I like the shopping part of casinos. If you want a bite to eat and haven't spent all your money, you can dine here, too. There's the Grand Buffet, which is exactly what the name implies. I like The Falls Deli for its deli sandwiches, pizza, and clam chowder. It's more than just a deli and it's affordable. There are eateries for all budgets. I saw a Burger King and a BarBurrito while I was there. I also walked past a Starbucks when I was entering the casino. There are washrooms everywhere. The one that I went to near the casino floor was spacious and clean. I went there after my concert was over. It's pretty at this casino. I recommend looking up, as the architecture is lovely and the colour lighting makes everything look stunning. It's worth coming here to see a show or to just hang out for the day. If you are driving over, do bring money. Parking will cost you, but you will gain some pretty cool memories of eating, shopping, gambling, browsing, and concert-going. (83)

Outstanding experience. We knew we wanted to stay in a room with a view at the falls, but were incredibly happy and lucky that we chose this hotel. In all our travels we have received wonderful service; the staff here are superb. In particular was Shannon, a woman who helped us resolve an issue - an issue caused by us. I highly recommend staying here - and - get a room with a view!

The hotel has the convenience of a spa/salon on site as well as a cedar sauna, two pools, and a jacuzzi. I mean...wow. Buchanan's is a gem of a restaurant and has excellent options for breakfast and dinner - and it's conveniently located on site as well. Views from the higher floors will show you Clifton Hill, the Skylon Tower, and the American Falls - all unobstructed. Staff were responsive and professional in every regard. The property is a grand slam home run.

I have been going to this hotel for *years* - literally started staying here while in Niagara Falls with my *first* ex-husband - that was over 20 years ago. This hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired lobby (usually...........). They have a wonderful spa just off the lobby with exceptional staff, and most reception employees are very nice. Super easy to get stuff sent to the room (extra towels, toiletries, coffee, etc) - they respond very quickly to messages in the app. Their beds are 100% the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. Although this isn't a true "fallsview" hotel (like the Marriott or Embassy Suites, for example), the view of the American falls and of the nightly fireworks is amazing. Their prices for on-site parking have gone up, but are still very competitive for the area (we checked). So overall, this is a great place to stay when in Niagara Falls, right? Which is why we always come here. I've stayed here about 15 times with my Boyfriend since 2020. But here is the issue we encountered this time around. Upon check-in we noticed a very different atmosphere in the lobby. A large desk had been installed in a corner by the spa with several - I'm talking 6 or 7 - security guards at that table, and a couple other stationed at different other spots in the lobby. A large white board propped by the stairs that lead to the pool/gym, with a "transport schedule" on it. The hotel's steakhouse restaurant, Buchanan's, was closed for an "event". Curious, we asked the front desk employee what was going on - why the many security guards? She told us that a large group was staying at the hotel """for an event""" and that they had brought in their own security. Now even more curious. We could tell the "large group" were Indigenous people and Boyfriend being part Native, we started trying to figure out what the "event" could be. Couldn't find anything anywhere online. We were a bit worried because they were rowdy... a couple of men were actually sitting, obviously drunk or high, in the parking lot, and special-needs looking children were running around wild in the lobby. Long story... not short... we finally found out, from some hotel staff, what is going on. This large group isn't staying at the hotel for an event at all - thanks Doubletree for lying to us. They are a group from an indigenous town or village in James Bay that had to be relocated because of a contaminated water situation. They have been staying in Niagara Falls SINCE LAST FEBRUARY. The government is paying the bill for their stay - obviously the hotel management must love this, because they are making lots of money and filling the hotel rooms during what is usually the low season. Buchanan restaurant is being used as some sort of "cafeteria" for them - that's why it's closed. These guests of the government are given Wal Mart gift cards daily for their needs - food, etc (hence the bus schedule on a board, it takes them shopping every day) - and we were told that many of them sell or trade these gift cards in town to buy alcohol and drugs. Overall, were we *personally* really inconvenienced by these long term guests? Not really. They apparently have been given their own (lower) floors and we were staying on the 17th floor. All we truly witnessed was: drunk/high people in the parking lot and lobby, and rowdy kids/teens in the lobby. Dirty elevators, which never used to happen in this hotel. But the whole hotel atmosphere was different. My problem is, the lack of transparency from the hotel about this situation. I feel they should advise people prior to booking, and absolutely if I had known, I would NOT have stayed here unless a special rate or discount was given to make it up to "regular" guests. We paid $300+ per night, plus taxes & parking, to stay here - at that cost, I'm not putting up with an unsafe environment. Staff told us they aren't sure when the "government's guests" will be leaving. If you are considering staying at this hotel in the near future, I would strongly advise contacting the hotel and asking some questions beforehand. If they aren't forthcoming, contact the spa.

The physical structure is very well designed. The hallways and rooms are magnificent. Heavy doors, cash safe in the room, adequate closet space, tastefully decorated with a Native American theme that pays homage to the elements of nature. The building materials used are such that you don't hear noise from adjacent rooms. There is plenty of parking and an inexpensive valet service if you don't care to look for your own space. The front desk staff are well trained and helpful and efficient. Their WiFi is fast with sufficient bandwidth that I was able to get some work done, sending and receiving large files without a problem. The rooms are nicely climate controlled, the shower is spacious with immediate hot water and the pressure is very good. The bed is comfortable, with good quality linens and blankets and firm mattresses. The housekeeping staff are thorough. The elevators move efficiently. They have tight security throughout the premises. All of the above is what they do right. I tried for two days to book a foot massage at the spa. No one answers that extension, so I'm not even sure if their spa has anyone assigned to answer the phones. The front desk - which also doesn't answer their phones so I had to physically go to the lobby - told me to just keep trying which I did without success. One of the reasons we booked at this hotel was because the website talks about their massages. Disappointing. There was no working electrical outlet next to the bed. The outlet that was part of the working lamp was dead. I had to pull my mattress away from the wall to find a working wall socket. There are electrical outlets over by the desk. The restaurants associated with this hotel are just fine. Three Sisters in the lobby has a very nice Buffet breakfast with excellent sausage. Everything else on that buffet is more than adequate. The wait staff do their best to keep your coffee cups filled and to bring you your check and even if things take a little longer than one would expect, we have no complaints about Three Sisters. The Western Door is a wonderful restaurant and we come here frequently and independently of the casino or the hotel for fine meals and properly mixed drinks. There are many little things that this beautiful hotel could do and should do to earn a fourth or fifth star, but perhaps their occupancy rate satisfies their balance sheet so they have no motivation to bring it to the next level.

Other guests were nice and staff were helpful. The water park was perfect. There is nothing better than being inside in wonderfully warm water while watching a blizzard outside. The wave pool was the biggest hit with my 3 elementary age kids. Of course they were big fans of the water slides too. We actually spent way less time in the water park than I thought we would, and way more time doing Magi Quest which is a big interactive scavenger hunt. It wasn't really my thing, but it seemed like every parent was a part time Magi Quest coach, and the kids like it so that's what matters. (Here are my Magi Quest tips- actually read the Ancient Book of Wisdom and ask the fairy questions if you feel stuck.) The buffet food was totally decent. If you don't want to leave the lodge, it's probably worth it to get the inclusive meal tickets. There are a few other dining options on site, like a boba place, a pizza place, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Prices were not exorbitant compared to other tourist places imo. There is one restaurant inside the water park which I would skip unless you really don't want to leave the water park. It was sort of movie theater type quality of food at the water park restaurant. Definitely get the Paw Pass; it was totally worth it. Oh my favorite thing about the resort were the bracelets which are waterproof and function as a room key and payment system- SO efficient. Now you don't have to worry about bringing your wallet everywhere, losing your room key, etc. More cruises and other resorts need to do this. Do bring a Sharpie so your kids stuff doesn't get all mixed up. Also, bring water bottles- there are fillup stations at restrooms. If you never want to leave the resort you don't have to. They have everything there. If you feel like a quick excursion, we did Dollarama for some souvenirs and snacks, the Mandarin for dinner, and a drive past the Falls at night so the kids could see the lights. We didn't request any housekeeping while we were there. There were plenty of towels, extra trash bags, pillow etc, so we just did our own and it was fine. Overall it felt like a cruise on land. We would definitely do it all again!

The owners were explaining some of their plans for the future and their visions for the future and I cannot wait to come back. It's in a camp site resort and it's next to a pond, the servers usually give us food to feed the ducks on he big patio they have. The indoor seating has a big bar, and lots of space, they have bands here sometimes. There's pool and darts to keep busy while you wait. The food is good. Nothing super special but it's good eats. They have specials for different days of the week and the part we love is the playground across the parking lot. It's fenced in and perfect for the kids, a couple picnic tables for Mom and Dad to rest our bellies while the kids burn off their energy. It's a good family place.
