Aside from the parking the apartments are fine. Would like it if they renovated all the apartments.

The manager Madison did nothing but laugh at me on the phone and not only kicked me out, they are still trying to collect 1,000$ of dollars from my family even after the detrimental health effects this disgusting place has caused on my children and my husband. These people will raise the rent on you out of no where, they will not put in work requests, they will lie to your face about cleaning your unit before moving in! I was about to give birth & got moved into a Unit that was so disgusting and filled with animal pee, human eyelashes, toenails, hair, random nails, you name it. This place doesn't give a SHIT! These guy's have you pay your $258.00 for app. & administration fees only to email you to tell you your application was denied. Also, you pay your money upfront using your bank card and they tell you it takes about 4 weeks to get your money back in the form of a check!!! This is ridiculous and not convenient for a person to continue their search. Most apartment buildings return your funds within 48 hrs. placed back into your account and not return back to the complex to retrieve a check for your own money as if you work there, Really!! Also I was denied for my credit report, not my credit score, which makes me believe it's based on my race. As I left from there & was approved the very next day at a complex that's much nicer & up to date on their technology. Just know my brown people; The Marquis in kingwood is not for us, so let them be!!! God Bless'

Long post - please read if you are considering moving here. If I could give zero or negative stars…read morefor the amount of time and money wasted, I would. I will change this review to 5 stars when the issue with MyLoftLiving is fixed. This apartment has the most predatory and draconian towing policy in any apartment I have seen in the past 15 years. If you live here you will get towed even if you follow the rules. I believe there is a system in place to profit off of residents and the apartment gets a kickback from every car they tow. It is actively hostile to any residents, and the apartment (specifically Maggie) refuses to help or do ANYTHING to remedy the situation. When you confront the apartment, they point their fingers at the tow company and say "sorry, our hands are tied, we can't do anything" (even though they are the ones who set up this system) and when you confront the towing company or the car lot, they point their fingers at the apartment and say "sorry, our hands are tied, we can't do anything", leading to a loop of unaccountability. You can end up in this situation even if you follow the rules, and the apartment will refuse to refund you the literal thousands of dollars you will waste. If you move here, be prepared to get towed and lose money. Here is a full breakdown of the situation for those curious: 1. We had a friend arrive at 10pm during the christmas holiday (3 days before christmas!). I told him to park on the far west side of the apartment where there is never any cars (always empty). I thought he would be good for a single overnight stay. Nope, he was towed at 3am, less than 5 hours from when he arrived. They allow the predatory towing companies to snoop around the parking lot at 3am because its the best time to catch prey (rent-paying tenets) 2. For a different time my car was towed (not my friend), You are NOT contacted if you have your car towed. No email, no text, no message through MyLoftLiving. The apartment will MAKE SURE to tell you if a food truck out front, but will forget or outright refuse to contact you for a towed vehicle. To quote Maggie (the Community Manager for the apartment) "We have over 320 vehicles, we can not send a message for every vehicle". Sorry Maggie, but are you making excuses for how you are unable to do your job? Because they failed to contact us, our car ramped up daily fees at the car lot for over a week. 3. If you put your cars info into MyLoftLiving (the official community portal where you pay rent), you will get a success message saying that the car was added successfully. YOUR CAR WILL STILL BE TOWED because the apartment switched to a new system without updating the old one. There NEEDS to be a message on MyLoftLiving that says something like "Car Failed to Add - Please use My Community VIP". Like I said at the beginning, I will change my review if this one thing gets changed, because I was screwed by this (false sense of security that I added my car) and other people have been screwed by it as well. The apartment manager told me we weren't the first to have this happen, which is why I think its purposeful and predatory. The person who eventually reads and responds to this will say "Hello, sorry for your bad experience, you are required to register all cars with My Community VIP", please fix your website to reflect this, and stop being hostile to tenets. "There is nothing we can do" yes there is, but you refuse to do it, and refuse to refund tenets for this headache machine you have crafted yourself. P.S. Hugo, Holly, and Lucy are fantastic. Mayelys Salvatierra needs to be fired.

I've had my partner call the office while I was standing in it and they act like the phone wasn't even ringing. Ive had my car broken into twice now and I'm sure this won't be the last time! The office people are no help not even a single camera around that could improve on safety and theft in these apartments! My neighbors tires were taken and I'm not sure on how that interaction went but it wasn't a great one! My car was also towed in a spot where my old car was I had just got the car a day before and the office was closed so I had no choice but to wait until the next day, I come out the next morning and my car is no where to be found the office had it towed because there was no registered parking sticker which is crazy considering I just had got the car and the night before there were no visitor parking anywhere nearby. I just feel like for people who never answer the phone and are never in the office should do a better job in these apartments safety of people who pay there hard earned money to live comfortably!

Then the new manager started getting really ugly and they eventually told us they would not renew our lease because they wanted possession of it, probably to update it and charge more, since 2 of our neighbors had also had to move. Adara: I lived there from mid-June 2020 to May 3, 2023. Building 9, 1st floor.

Let's start with…read morerent going up, water being allocated based on usage by building, mandatory rental insurance required, so many to name. I could deal with the old management cause it was a smaller management company, but when Adara came I think more people have a sour taste in there mouth. Patios can't have certain things on them. The biggest complaint to management is the parking situations. Look, if there already wasn't enough parking. I mean you have more stray Cats than parking available here. I HAVE HAD MY CAR TOWED THREE TIMES. I had parked in fire lane once to go put my groceries in my unit, came out on a good Friday night about 5 minutes, towed away and gone, like someone knew my every move. Damn. Ok. You got me. Fair shake. Next, I parked in handi cap, illegal, Yes, there was no parking 9pm at night, car was gone again. THAT QUICK. MY BAD, MY BAD, I OWN UP TO IT. LAST, I had a flat tire, and I'm not the only one at the complex with car issues, but you tow my vehicle for that, OOOO-NOOO , I guess I will be an idiot for resigning again, pls. Management acts like there not involve with what's being towed, but On-Site Towing company comes here mostly every weekend night and tows people vehicle, allowed by management through contracts. If you want to Park in Peace where ever you live, and not have to fight for parking when coming home from work, (Don't Move Here). It's getting worse overtime. I KNOW residents have been complaining like me. For example, since Beryl, debris have been picked up daily everywhere else to my knowledge AROUND HOUSTON OR HERE, but since July here has still BEEN DEBRIS taking up parking SPOTS and your charging people rent and towing there cars for parking BAD situations. BADD BUSINESS. I don't really blame ADARA communities, but management on site for being the mastermind behind it all. They probably got friends or family in this On-Site Towing company helping them get paid overtime. If not then create More Parking for your Residents. All the parking that's covered parking, could possibly be for residents if you don't have enough, Thuh. Lastly, there was a car that burned up near my building and literally never towed until the 3rd Week in September. I Repeat, an abandoned vehicle 3 Weeks Sat, burned here completely. But flat tires is considered what, Violations. Get Real Management people here please. Total disrespecting our Hard Earn Money. I have pics to prove my point, but you can ask residents here, I am not alone about this parking ordeal... I REST MY CASE.
