He placed a golf tee to help mark where me(the bride) and my father stop. and he made sure rings could not be dropped or lost by having us really pull them from his fingers. He spoke clearly and made our vows easy to repeat. We asked for a short and sweet ceremony, and he gave us exactly that. It was perfect!

The manager did call us back and seemed very annoyed that she had been bothered. Anyway, she did come over to check us in and she barely even acknowledged our existence and just kept running back and forth to the room complaining that the maid hadn't set it up for 3 people. She was very rude and made us feel like she was doing us a favor by coming to the office. Another, odd thing was that you had to ask for a remote and that you had to pay for wi-fi. And, later we needed ice but were too afraid to go ask to use the ice machine, we just ended up going and buying our own. And, in the bathroom there was a sign on the wall that if you used the towels for anything other than drying off after a shower you would would get fined !! Like so many people use motel towels for dark and nefarious reasons! Aside from all the above the room was very small and the beds didn't even have a blanket on them! But, you wouldn't dare ask for one fearing a scolding and a huge fine!!

The man who let us in acted as though we were inconveniencing him. I was told to make my own breakfast the next morning. Then on most of the other days (I was there several days for business), there was someone there to cook breakfast but she rudely told me that they had noticed I was in too much of a rush to eat breakfast a couple of mornings so they had decided that I wasn't "a breakfast person" and so I wasn't "on her list" and she had nothing for me. Last morning, there were a number of guests having breakfast and it looked as though there was enough food. I ask for some and was grudgingly given the tiniest slice of quiche I have ever seen. (There was more left over.) It was cold as a tomb in my room. There was a little rickety table, but it wouldn't hold my computer and papers, so I ended up working on the bed. Probably all for the best. i needed to stay in bed to keep warm. I've stayed in some pretty dodgy places, much less beautiful than this one, but never have I encountered such coldness and rudeness.
