I have been a client for several years after…read morebeing referred by a friend, and I can honestly say that referral was one of the best I've ever received. Mr. Perry is extremely knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and genuinely cares about his clients. Most recently, I was faced with a tax audit claiming that I owed approximately $6,000. Mr. Perry took the time to carefully review my situation, break down my taxes in detail, and prepare a thorough letter explaining everything to the appropriate tax authorities. The audit was ultimately dismissed. What impressed me most was the time, attention, and expertise he brought to the situation. He didn't just handle the issue--he made sure everything was properly explained and supported. Having someone this knowledgeable in your corner when dealing with a stressful tax matter is invaluable. Mr. Perry is extremely well versed in tax laws, but just as importantly, he operates with integrity and treats his clients exceptionally well. It's difficult to find someone who combines this level of knowledge, professionalism, patience, and genuine care. I have been very satisfied with Mr. Perry and Associates over the years, and after this experience, I appreciate them even more. I highly recommend Mr. Perry to anyone looking for a CPA they can truly trust. Five stars are not enough!

After sharing tax documentation for my father, Philip worked quickly to prepare drafts of the tax returns within two days. We signed and finalized the tax return e-filing the very next day. He was able to walk through the complex real estate related capital gain/loss tax issues from step-up basis from a death of the spouse, federal exclusion for principal residence to NJ refund of estimated gross income tax collected at the time of closing. In fact, he had prepared the appropriate refund claim documents that I can send to NJ Division of Taxation without any additional charge; I am quite pleased that Philip did not require an additional fee to the initial quote that he provided as the response to my Yelp request for these extra claim documents. I feel that PA Financial, CPA had charged a reasonable tax preparation fee given the complexity of the tax issues involved. All throughout the tax preparation process, Philip was responsive to my questions and concerns and accommodated for the difference in timezone (I lived in CA). Although I do not have a future need for NJ tax filing, I would highly recommend PA Financial, CPA firm for your NJ resident or non-resident tax preparation needs.
