Three years back I was feed up with H & R block . All their nonsense and they just overcharged their clients and were rude when you questioned it . Didn't matter that I was a customer for 20 plus years or not . So I went on the hunt to find another tax professional . I stumbled across Johns ad on Craigslist . I was a bit apprehensive because craigslist definitely has a lot of scammers and shady people on there . So I gave John a call . Made my appointment , he took good care of me and got me every dollar that I could get back . His prices are VERY fair , he does not rape you with a huge unexplainable fee like H & R Block . And he is always there for you . I recently got a letter from the IRS and mind you its July and not tax season . John From JR taxation was right there to help . Resolved it for me within a day . All I can say is THANKS John!!! for your help settling my 2011 back taxes that I have been trying to resolve myself for more than a year. I have been going to John's office for a couple of years now and had an issue with my 2011 return (before I started coming to John) regarding back taxes I owed. I paid the said back taxes but the IRS insisted I have not done so even after providing complete documentation. I communicated with one of their OH office that were asking for the payment for more than a year taking a lot of time and effort trying to explain that the amount have been paid but to no avail. I finally gave up and tap John's expertise back in April. He worked with me to get better communication result with the IRS office and even help me open a case with the Tax Advocate group which finally got the result I was looking for. After Liberty Taxes just up and moved without any warning, I was left wondering what to do. My former accountant was getting greedy with upping his fee every year, and it was a hike to get there, to boot. I noticed that at the time, a new tax preparation center was advertising, so I decided to check them out. Wow, so close to home and I can say John is very pleasant to do business with, tries to accommodate as much as possible, knows how to do "teacher" taxes- but wait! He's from NYC just like me. I was really concerned about filing my taxes because I didn't think I find someone who would understand my situation. It was the day before the filing date and I really needed to find someone. I passed by JR taxation every day on my way home but never thought to give it a try. I woke early in the morning and began to search for someone and JR taxation showed up and I read the reviews.
