Welcome home goodie bag
Sherri V.

It's only day 1 (received my keys today) however I cannot commend the Falling Water staff enough. They're caring, responsive and delightful to work with. I toured many apartments before this one and I knew this was the place based on multiple things: 1.) They answered the phone when I called! 2.) They explained everything clearly and completely 3.) They're just enjoyable to work with. Then - they go above and beyond and left me a "Welcome Home" gift full of the most awesome basics you need while you're in transition! (Soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, softener and so much more). I'm confident the welcoming process is indicative of how they'll continue to treat me as a long term resident.

Here's my 8 month update! I won't be renewing my lease because I'm looking to rent a house for more space, otherwise depending on the price I probably would. Complex is still very nice and cozy. Despite my unit facing the freeway I don't really hear a lot of noise unless I actively listen for it. The complex is very transient and there's always people moving in and out. Things that have changed since I moved in: *Rent for a unit similar to my one bedroom is going for $1920 right now and I pay $1475. WOW! *I now pay I think close to $40 in mandatory trash fees. I don't like that part I think that is way too high. Nothing changed as far as trash service since move in to warrant that raise. *Dog park is open now! I don't have a pet, but I love seeing all the cute dogs running around the park area. Maintenance is still really good and super speedy. Office closures are communicated through email. Overall a great place to live, but sheesh at the prices they're charging now. This complex needs EV chargers as well!! I'll post a post-move out update and that will wrap up Falling Water.

There is a potentially hazardous situation running along the length of Falling Water Aprtments. The green belt contains jagged PVC pipes protruding out of the grass. Any of these could prove deadly for a child should they fall on these while playing or even walking down the sidewalk. All it would take to render these safe would be to either cap them or cut them off. Why hasn't someone done this simple task to protect residents and the general public who walks by these every day?

Next to kitchen cabinets

Months later we are in a beautiful home which has been so good to us but I wanted to give you guys a short story about what happened since I know someone out there needs to know this when signing a lease with falling water ... I believe in the month of December our apartment was accumulating mold on the walls so we got someone to come out since we weren't getting anywhere with maintenance/management. The tests came back positive for mold spores in the air and on the wall/behind our kitchen cabinet, which wasn't a surprise. Come to find out that there was a leak somewhere within our walls so who knows how long we were living in a hazardous environment or how bad it was for our health. My partner wrote a very detailed letter including lease agreements, violations of our lease and also dated pictures of the mold and water damage on our walls. Since they needed to clean up their mess, we had to move out immediately right before Christmas which was very stressful, I couldn't even enjoy my Christmas tree with my little family this past year it was heartbreaking when we took everything down. We had to move all of our stuff into my parents house even the animals which caused a lot of fights, we ended up losing one of our pets who was suffering in the vet hospital which SUCKED! My parents are saints, if we didn't have them then I don't know what we would've done. We were planning on moving to another unit but ended up getting a house instead. Management gave us two months of rent back and free movers to move our stuff into a storage unit which was nice of them but money doesn't buy happiness so I was trying to put on a smile even though deep down I was infuriated. I loved my apartment and my neighbors, it sucked that we were forced to move out due to their lack of responsibility. I believe that building 9 has so much more water damage and I really hope they looked into all the apartments checking for leaks so this doesn't happen to another family/person. Thank you for listening to me rant and I hope this review update helped you.

Rats making mess out of valet trash left in can.
Dakoda M.

I give this place 3 stars and here is why let's start with the negatives. -we had our car broken into and they complex would do nothing to help except tell us "call the police and file a report." -the valet trash was THE WORST they never picked up our trash which attracted RATS! Then when they chewed holes in the cans and we would tell the office they wanted us to carry it to the office.... uh no! Rats carry so many diseases and we have a baby and a baby. On top of that they tried charging us for the cans after we would throw them away when no action was taken. -they are money hungry here. They charge for every little thing. They claimed they had to replace all of our carpet when it was only in 2 rooms in which only one room was used the other stayed empty with only our babies stuff. They took our whole deposit -the pool was never opened. When we would go at night teens would take up the whole hot tub and have sex on the lawn chairs dragged next to it. -we were told when we moved in they were building a dog park... never happened. Now the good things Staff was friendly especially Courtney. Courtney was very helpful prior to move in since we lived in Cali and were making a move to LV. Once we moved in she was very short and stand-offish like as if we were always a bother to her. The apartment manager was pretty nice too Deena I think her name was. The community is quite and the interior of the apartments are spacious and nice. The main reason we moved was because they are kind of expensive and lots of upcharges for pointless things.

Don't even bother! Booked and confirmed to tour the place and was left with no response or communication when we get there.

2/17/2026 UPDATE: We are getting ready to move out of state…read moreand wanted to share an update as we first moved in in 2022. PROS and WINS: -Chyla and Courtney have been here since we moved in and have ALWAYS been helpful. They're always quick to respond and do everything within their power to address issues and needs that come up. -Albert (one of the maintenance team members), he's SO NICE and always helpful and quick with repairs. There's a newer maintenance team member who does a fantastic job. He's always outside picking up any loose trash and repaired our washer quick. -The grounds were clean when we first moved in and have felt that way the entire time. Of course you have neighbors who don't pick up after their animals. But I honestly think it's gotten better. - The community spaces are always clean. It was so nice having the coffee machine in the community lounge. I really wish they would've replaced that. -They always do monthly community events. They're cute and it's fun to walk over and stop by. -The Bend outdoor shopping center has really developed and fully went up since us moving in! It's so fun to have a coffee shop, food options, workout spaces, UPS, gas, etc all within a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive. -our carpet was fully replaced prior to our move in and on both renewals we were given a carpet cleaning voucher, so that's fun! Feedback: -I noticed the side gate tends to be opened and not latch closed. This has been reported and the front office has said it's been repaired, but it continues to randomly be unlocked. Truthfully, I just got tired of reporting it was broken. But I fully believe if I would've mentioned again, they would've looked into it. -Would love for the coffee machine to have been replaced. We loved going to the community center to play Monopoly Deal and grab a coffee when there was a machine there. Advice for future tenants: -The walls are THIN and the stairs are hollow. Our layout was in building 14 on the ground level and our master room wall is shared with the stairs. And every single neighbor above us STOMPS so loud. If you are a light sleeper, I would highly suggest not opting for a layout where the master wall is shared with the outside stairs. -Ask for bug spray in the warmer months. We did our own bug spray inside our unit but I believe you can ask for more outside. -Be a good neighbor. Pick up after yourself in the gym and pick up after your animal. Respect the shared community spaces. -Honestly if we were not moving out of state we would've renewed because overall we enjoyed being here! Review from 4/2023: So far, my experience with Solana and the leasing office has been better than I could've I asked for! And we toured 4 places in one day and nothing matched the experience we had here. We literally started our tour day with Jody at Solana, went to tour other places and came back same day to apply. The moment my partner and I walked in we were greeted and made to feel like family. Jody was AMAZING. She had so much energy and passion about her job and it really sold the place. We were pleasantly surprised about the property, i personally think the photos don't do the place justice. Pros: -armed guard at all times -24 hr maintenance ON SITE -fitness center is clean with a variety of equipment -pool looked cleaned and maintained well -we toured the grounds and looked to be maintained well Cons(more so outside of Solona control): -next to freeway (not a deal breaker for us, but you really can hardly tell -area still in development stages. Looks like more food and stores are in the process of being built. BUT there's an ikea nearby!! Overall, we're really excited for our move and have high hopes about this property

I'm not gonna lie ... when the place was first built there were some bumps along the way, but they fixed them quickly and the maintenance crew is extremely responsive whenever we call. Before beginning our self-guided tour, we confirmed with the front office that our dogs were allowed to accompany us. The leasing associate welcomed us, provided the fob, and even offered treats to our dogs, commenting on how well-behaved they were. During the tour, however, we were approached by a resident who repeatedly confronted us about having our dogs with us, even after we explained that we had permission from the leasing office. We continued our tour, but later near the pool area, the same resident approached us again. At that moment, my dog was simply sitting on the concrete with one paw touching the grass while we figured out the direction of our next stop. Despite this, the resident continued to make comments and then took a photo of us without our permission before walking away. This encounter made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Our dogs were calm, leashed, and fully under control the entire time, and the leasing office had explicitly allowed them to be with us during the tour. Because of how uncomfortable this resident made us feel, we ended our tour early and returned the fob. It was upsetting that a tour we were genuinely excited about was overshadowed by this interaction. While we appreciated the kindness of the leasing staff, the experience with this resident left a very negative impression. I hope management takes note, as no prospective resident should be made to feel this way--especially while following all the guidelines given by the leasing office.
