The person he spoke to told him that EADC could not help him because "medicaid doesn't like it when you self pay because if you can afford that, then why are you on medicaid?" Discrimination of this level will be reported to the BBB, the ADA, and any other agency I can find to report it to. Not only is the above quoted statement inaccurate, but it is also extremely biased. Why doesn't EADC want to accept people who offer to pay but also say that they are on medicaid? I could speculate, but I will let those I contact do that for me. Bottom line, they turned down someone who is in an emergency extraction situation; Severly swollen gums, high temp fever, antibiotics no longer helping, etc. Updates to follow...

I needed a root canal and I was so terribly scared that if my tooth didn't hurt so bad I wouldn't of had it done. I explained to him how sensitive my teeth are. To put it in to perspective, I need Novocain to have my teeth cleaned... no joke! He saw the fear in my eyes and knew he had his hands full. He proceeded with the procedure. He gave me enough Novocain to make sure I didn't feel it. I felt it a little at the beginning so he gave me more Novocain in the roof of my mouth and didn't feel the shot. After that is was no problem at all. I felt nothing. He also gave me the nitrous oxide gas and wasn't charged extra for it. His assistant was amazing to! Very nice, I felt so comfortable with these people. 2 days later, I had no more pain. I found my dentist for life.. Thanks doc!

I have been to many dental hygienists when I lived in other cities, and I have never found one as gentle, thorough, and excellent as Candice. I simply won't go to anyone else for teeth cleaning. I did a teeth whitening procedure with Dr. Christensen this past spring, and my teeth were noticeably whiter and brighter by at least two shades, which was amazing! They also sent me home with a take-home whitening kit that allows me to keep my teeth in good shape on my own. Their front desk staff is professional and friendly, and even sends out birthday cards!
