When I asked why, I was not given a reason but instead told to message Dr King in the portal which I did and was never replied to or contacted. Keep in mind, at this point I was scheduled for surgery which I then had to canceled. This was a huge waste of my time and then her office had the nerve to send me a bill! Horrible experience with this group. When I called to discuss the bill they sent me they were extremely rude and did not think it was unreasonable to send me a bill after denying me service for no reason that I can understand and no effort to communicate with me about it. Total mystery and extremely rude service not to mention, very sneaky stuff with how they bill insurance companies. Steer clear!

I went around this circle for the better part of a year. Essentially went for basic care and ended up with a huge headache. I have never dealt with such incompetence. It was really bad. Also the care I received felt very generic as I don't believe I ever saw the actual doctor that runs the office, which would have been nice as a new patient. All in all a terrible experience that was stretched out over the course of a year. And to top it off, when I called to express my dissatisfactions as well as submit my final payment after all was said and done, they acted like they could not care less. She told me she would not prescribe antibiotics because that is not medical practice anymore....... then told me she would prescribe Fluticasone (nasal spray) and oh if your insurance does not pay for it just take Mucinex. She also wanted me to take two other medications. That is so much better than just taking a dose of antibiotics of course. Now I have side effects from three different medications to deal with. Then I was told if you still feel bad on Thursday come back (pay another co-pay) and I will give you antibiotics. Four days of different medications and then at the end antibiotics anyway. Wow, that makes a lot of sense. She had to leave the room three times to "check" on the medication and with whom? GOOGLE or the real doctor????? Honestly, drive to Summit county if you want real help!

My mom and I came for oxygen at this "oxygen bar" our first morning in Aspen. The staff was…read morefriendly enough, but I have to question their techniques and effectiveness. Originally, they seemed awesome-- they took our vitals (oxygen and heart rate) before we started. They gave us oxygen tubes to put in our nostrils. We asked for a half hour for $25. We couldn't tell there was any oxygen flow when we started. My mom even asked about it. They said they put the flow really low to keep our nostrils from drying out. About 20 minutes in, I could finally feel some oxygen flowing. Also, 3 women walked in and asked for I.V.s. I guess you get free oxygen at this place if you buy an IV. So they got hooked up to oxygen too. We discovered they hook everyone to the same oxygen tank, and they can't tell how much oxygen one person gets versus another, as it's not even. Hmmmm.... After a half hour, they asked us to pay. I questioned, "Aren't you going to take our vitals again first?" They said sure they could (why did I have to ask?) Well, my oxygen level went DOWN and my heart rate went UP. When I questioned them about this, they hemmed and hawed until they asked if I wanted it for free. I didn't want it for free; I wanted oxygen!! They didn't charge me, but they wasted my time. And they potentially made me worse, though I'm not sure how they would have done that.

The green beans looked like they had been sitting out for hours, the mashed potatoes were dry and clumpy, and the meatloaf looked like it had been steaming for days. I reluctantly chose a chicken sandwich and a bag of chips and made my way over to the cashier. As I took my first bite, my suspicions were confirmed - it was bland and tasteless, and I was left wondering how such a crucial aspect of patient care could be so overlooked. Despite the lackluster food, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to care for their patients. As I finished my meal, I made a mental note to bring some snacks from home the next time I visited the hospital.

I called his office and made an appointment with him. When I arrived, I was seen by someone else. I was seen by many people actually. I met Dr. Pevny on my way out of the business. The physicians assistant who saw me is not an in-network provider. I am now expected to pay the entire bill because it is out of network. I have tried since January to resolve this problem with the doctors office and they refuse to call me back. A patient should not be expected to walk around a doctors office and ask everyone who sees them whether or not they are in-network, when the patient made an appointment with the doctor himself and he is listed as in-network on the insurance company website. I have tried for five months to resolve this problem with Dr. Pevny's office. No one has bothered to call me back. On top of this, right after I was seen, I called to request a copy of my x-rays. No one called me back for that either. I do not live in Aspen and I cannot go to this business and resolve this problem in person. For this reason they get two stars. I cannot imagine what would've happened had I needed help from them immediately after visiting the office. I'd still be waiting. How the doctors office treats you is part of the care that you get. If they are not interested in helping their patients you should not do business with them.
