He left a tiny little bit of stitch under my skin and I had to come back for another painful appointment to have him dig around and remove it. He also had to try 4 times for me to have a successful EKG at my physical because the sticky pads kept falling off. I keep going back because his nurse during the day is awesome. She is always friendly and attentive and makes me feel safe even when I doubt him sometimes. They have a nice waiting room with fruit, water, coffee and tea and lots of good magazines (which is helpful when I often have to wait 30-45 minutes even when I am early or on time). I usually have no problem getting last minute appointments.

He has been my primary care physician for 5 years and more. During that time, I have seen him regularly for small complaints, and even a sudden episode of life-threatening high blood pressure. Throughout, both his diagnosis and office manner have been of the very highest caliber. That rare combination of absolute competence and an open, sympathetic way.

Dr Owens comes across as a knowledgeable doctor. He'll give you a good explanation of what you should or shouldn't be doing. While I've been seeing him for a year now, I have not had surgery performed by him yet. Another good point is that with everything I have going on, he hasn't pushed surgery as the first option. He stressed trying all the least invasive methods first. That is a big plus these days.

To be clear, this means I broke every single bone in my ankle. It was made clear to me this would be a life changing injury. I was referred to Dr. Seidman, and this is without a doubt the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me. A plan of action has already been worked out before I even made it to his office. He had been briefed by his team on the severity of my injury and had already begun formulating a clear cut plan to surgically remove the bone fragments from my ankle and piece together all the broken bones with a stunning composition of plates and screws. I have never had any sort of severe injury before, and I was blatantly terrified up until the point that I got to meet with Dr. Seidman. My surgery happened the following week, and I can't imagine it having gone any better. My recovery has been miraculous. It is no surprise that the mere mention of his name to any of his patients and coworkers is met with the highest level of admiration and praise. I am more grateful than any words could ever suffice to express.

Dr. Hentek is a top rate physician. She's straight forward and to the point and unpretentious…read more She's seen me on some of my worst days and given me top rate service. I remember once coming in to see Dr. Hentek with a chest and sinus infection. She saw me, gave me a perscription and left the office. When she came back in the exam room, she noticed I was in pain and couldn't stand. She asked me about it and wrote me a perscription for that as well. . Dr. Hentek saw that I was in pain and treated me for that distress. I'm thankful for her genuine concern. I realized that it didn't occur to me to ask her about anything for my back because I'd been told that the pain would pass by another physician and that I should just take Alieve. I'm a person of color and as such, I've experienced doctors who are hesitant to perscribe pain medication so I subconsiously didn't ask even though I was in the doctor's office. I have changed general physicians though. I had a visit with Dr. Hentek after I'd lost a significant amount of weight 30+ lbs. Dr. Hentek made a comment to me about making an effort to loose more. I shared my regiment and told her about the results I'd had in the previous months and instead of suggesting alternate options she just told me about the negative effects of excess weight and told me to loose more. Of course I have some idea of the negative effects of excess weight otherwise I wouldn't have embarked on the effort I did to loose the weight I had. Physically the doctor is larger than I am so I felt she should be a little more sensitive and construct in offering feedback on weightloss. I was pretty insulted so I'm no longer seeing Dr. Hentek. Women if you're a size 14 or above; you might want to see another doctor.
