So I got a DUI and my options were either do 30 days in jail or 30 days in House patient so when I…read morewas calling around, I called Clean Recovery and got Kourtney D on the phone gathering information and calling multiple places to see, which would be the best suitable place for me, which probably took about two weeks. Kourtney D. reached out every couple of days to see how I was doing and she was the only one who did that and made me feel so comfortable So she is the reason why I chose Clean Recovery. Then when I arrived, I met Chuck who registered me in and was fairly new employee, the most humble, funny person with the best attitude Great person to first meet when I arrived. I will never forget you, Chuck thank you for all the laughs and telling me that I got it.. Then the third person was Stephanie the head tech leader Where do I even begin such an amazing soul and the realest person that you could ever meet so helpful even when she was overwhelmed, she never said no, always with a smile and would do anything for you. I love you Stephanie and you'll be very missed I'm lucky that I got to meet someone like you Then there was Bridgette, another Tech I gave Bridgette every emotion that I was going through the first two weeks. She was the one that would happen to be there and get the raft of it. I bow down to you, Bridgette for never turning your back on me or never giving me an attitude when I was venting or going through a ton of emotions. You are an amazing person, a hard worker and I'm very lucky to have met you as well I will miss you very much and I will also never forget you being there for me Then there was Jordan another Tech with long hair His nickname was grizzly bear. He's very firm and strong and he doesn't tolerate nonsense and extremely hard worker he's Management material. but, his heart is huge and there were multiple times that he was there for me and would go out of his way to help me or anyone else and also makes me laugh. Jordan, I will miss you deeply and I know in your future you will be super successful in whatever you do Clean recovery is lucky to have you Then there's Patrick another Tech Patrick's like a big teddy bear. He was also fairly new when I arrived learning the ropes. I don't think Patrick has a mean bone in his body to anybody. He is so positive and wants the best for everyone and that's a rare thing to find in people and I'm lucky to have been part of your life Patrick and you will be very missed And there was Brady another tech Full of energy times 20 and he knows if you break any rules there's no hiding anything from Brady, but also has a big heart and would do anything for you, if it was allowed . I'm very lucky to have met you too Brady you'll be very missed Then there is Jasmine who also is a tech and is a extremely hard worker (I feel like she never goes home LOL) and is always here with a great attitude and cares for all. I will miss you Jasmine Then you have `-Damien & Rhonda two other techs The most sweetest kindest, loving people that also would do anything for you I will miss you both All of the techs that work in the Tampa location. If it wasn't for them, people would be losing their minds. They are the ones that make Clean recovery a better experience 100% Then you have Julia, who was my therapist, Heather V who is in charge of all the therapists, McKenzie who is case manager, Brian, who is the tech supervisor and Jessica, who is the nurse, and then Heather E who runs the show each and every one of you made my experience at Clean recovery so positive, uplifting and also difficult lol lol lol but truly helped me and made me feel like Clean Recovery was my home. Thank you to all of you and I'll never forget any of you

I understand that choosing a psychiatrist is a very difficult decision, and usually when you need…read moreto do so, you are not in the best frame of mind to make what is a very important decision. That said, Dr. Patel has been a very good psychiatrist for me. He is compassionate, listens, and gives much needed advice. What people need to remember is that what a psychiatrist usually does is work with a patient and their medication(s) only. Psychiatrists normally don't provide therapy. I do not see Dr. Patel for therapy, simply for medicine management. Even so, he does take time to talk to me. He is a kind man. He has helped me tremendously when I needed help. If I need his assistance between appointments, I call and am able to speak with his assistant, who speaks with Dr. Patel. If necessary, an appointment is scheduled for me right away. I always feel cared for. Additionally, the staff at his office, Florida Behavioral Medicine, are all friendly and helpful, even when they are overworked with answering the phones, checking people in, checking people out and answering questions from people coming in and out. Florida Behavioral Medicine is a multi-doctor practice and sometimes the lobby may be a bit hectic. But I am always checked in before my appointment time, although at times patience is a virtue. Regardless of how busy the entire practice is, I usually see Dr. Patel on time and sometimes earlier than my scheduled time. I tend to show up for appointments early - that's just who I am. Dr. Patel is the most effective psychiatrist I have ever had, and just believe me, that is really saying a lot.

Do not use this DR. He prescribes addictive medicines then cannot get the prescriptions right and…read morethe prescriptions run out leaving a patient in withdrawal. They do not respond to urgent voicemails, ignore faxes and calls from the pharmacy, and this happens every cycle. He requires a visit every 60 days, but they schedule past the 60 days. I believe this practice of ignoring patients who are having to stop taking medicines that warnings say DO NOT suddenly stop taking medicine is malpractice and a call to our lawyer is next after writing reviews to let people know to never ever use this DR. He is bad news, period. Or his office staff, but the buck stops at the top, and hard to blame a horrible team if the DR does not care. The past few years with Dr. Ashtok Patel has been a repeating nightmare from day one.

There are few and far psychiatrists in this area and thus far I have been very pleased with Dr. Nihal Shah. It is an hour from my home but it is well worth the drive. Many times one has to wait as there are others who need help and you must adjust due to the shortage of the psychiatrists. With the advent of Covid I am totally impressed with the responsiveness of the office any time I have had the phone in. Thank you so very much.

About two weeks ago my mom was admitted after a stroke and everyone from the ER triage nurses to the people delivering meal trays were just so nice, helpful and patient with my mother and kept our family up to date with things regarding her health. Since we spent a few long days at the hospital we were given a cart with tea, coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, fruit and snacks every day that were were there. That was completely unexpected and so appreciated. I especially appreciate the nurses in the Neuro ICU unit and the nurses in the third floor comfort care unit. Their compassion and was incredible especially since such an awful time in our lives. They have a DD downstairs in the lobby and a cafeteria where the food actually isn't bad at all. They even provide meals free of charge sent to the patient's room if you want.

My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, died after what multiple independent physicians and an…read moreautopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect in an HCA Florida Hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue.
