The majestic entrance. To our delight, they added another mattress on top this morning. This has been here since our first day.

Worst vacation in 20 years here at the coast. First off, when we arrived we were told that we did not have a place for our small 5x8 trailer and could park it on the road (there was no room unless they mean the bicycle lane) and we were charged $25 a night for a storage facility miles away. The rental agreement said nothing about trailers, only RVs, campers, pop-ups and boat trailers. The room itself was well below what we were expecting. The a/c is a Nest which goes to 78 during the day and you have no control. The rooms were super hot at night and it was impossible to sleep. Our stay was 5/29-6/3, so I can't imagine what it will be like for those in the hot part of summer. Also, the only TV is in the living room. None of the rooms had a TV. We received 1 towel and 1 washcloth each for a week, so we were constantly running the washer/dryer combo that was super loud and stunk! The bathroom had mold on the baseboards and some red mystery goo running down the wall. The ceilings are super low in the hallways and bathrooms which give you a claustrophobic feeling (see pic with my husband who is 6'2". If you swim at the pool, one of the other residents is recording everything with their Ring camera pointed right at you off the balcony. An uncomfortable feeling when your two daughters are swimming. Spent 20 minutes on the phone today because they locked us out of our room a day early. Our checkout isn't until tomorrow. This place is nothing what it looks like in the pictures. There is constant construction right outside the rooms day and night, and a mattress in front of the entrance on the ground that has been there since the first day. I'm glad we weren't in the rooms a lot. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. By the way, this is my very first negative review. I usually give a lot of grace, but this was just beyond awful.

Super let down when we arrived that the place looks nothing like the shining star portrayed on the website. The facility is run down and poorly maintained. There was an old mattress that sat out on the curbside the entire week we were there. They have a strict no trailer policy that is only listed in the boat section of the rental agreement. Not owning a boat I did not see this. After towing a 5x8 cargo trailer almost 400 miles I find out it will be towed if I park it in 1 of the 2 provided parking spots. We contacted management and were told to park it on the street. Unfortunately the street has no place for parking so I ended up spending an additional $125 to park at the local boat yard/storage area 5 miles down the road. The rental company has installed a nest thermostat which would up the air to 78 degrees every time we left the room. There was mold in the master bathroom around the base boards and on the ceiling. The hot tub was inop and the pool had random tiles laying loose In the bottom. The walkways to and from the room were filthy with gum stuck all over the place. On the final day we left to go out for the day only to return and find ourselves locked out of the room. After 20min on the phone we managed to get the people to understand that our check out wasn't until the next morning. All-in-all very poor customer service with very little regard for their tenants. The five-day stay here was not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and in no way do I feel as if I got my moneys worth. Please take the time to look through the pictures before staying here.

Hello, I have now stayed at Fairway Villas 3 times since July 4th weekend of 2012. At first I did not know what to expect because I have only heard of two reviews; one good review and one bad. Plus, both of the reviews were written awhile back. So here is what I have to say about Fairway Villas as of the summer of 2012. Fairway Villas is a condo complex. It's not located on the beach BUT it is only a 3-minute drive. Plus it's conventionally located on Padre Island, meaning it is both 20- 25 minute drive to Corpus Christi and Port A. Online you may find some outdated pictures and information about Fairway Villas. So for the truth check out their website: http://www.fairwayvillasblueskycondos.com/ All 3 of my stays have been great!!! Fairway Villas has made lots of improvements from the reviews and old pictures I have found online. I thought the condos were up to date, CLEAN, spacious, had nice helpful employees, and they charged GREAT reasonable prices. (Check everything on the website)! And having benefits to the golf course is fabulous! Not only did we get a discount, but if you call the country club they will come pick you up and then drop back off at the condo complex. That's nice because the non-golfers don't have to be car less or schedule their day around the golfer in the family. On their website they shared helpful information about things to do around the condo. Bob Hall Pier was fun. We rented surfboards for the day and ate at the restaurant on the pier. The food was great there!

The owner, forgive me that I forgot her name, was so polite and professional the whole time during our stay. It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but she made sure we got treated like it was. They do have complimentary breakfast in the morning. They also have a break water in the back which leads to Corpus Christi Bay. The room was decent in size. It had a fridge and a working ac unit. There are a few restaurants within walking distance if you're hungry. The best thing is the view of the USS Lexington right in front, which is a must to check out when you're in town. If I am ever back in the area, I will be more than happy to stay here again. Loved it, and probably will again!!

A Very Well Managaed Marriot Property…read more I was in the Corpus Christi area for Business and was referred to this hotel by business associates from the area. They were right as this hotel was in a prime location near the waterfront and close to many very popular restaurants. The hotel is very well designed and very well kept. From the moment I checked in the moment I checked out, it was a great experience. My room was fantastic as I stayed in a one-bedroom, two-bed suite with a great view from the room. My room had everything I needed and was immaculate. I had room to store my luggage, roll out my yoga mat and still had room for more. The hotel's wifi was easy to connect to and I had no issues. The room has multiple USB and power outlets for all of your devices. The bathroom was spotless and came with enough towels to last me a few days. I used the hotel's gym, the lobby, and the lounge outside by the pool. I also was able to enjoy a few drinks at the very classy hotel bar. This is a great hotel to stay in and I most likely will stay here again.

Clean Room (the housekeeping department is not part of the problem) Shabby stained carpet, no patio furniture, balcony, air conditioner and trim degrading. The pool area also needs a makeover and the bar was blasting really loud music on a weekday evening trying to grasp of a 'club' atmosphere that it just doesn't have. The location is nice, and I think maybe if it was a little less expensive I wouldn't feel so taken advantage of although our room did come with a coupon for Pete's coffee in the lobby and that definitely helped All in all, I'm not sure there is a better choice in the area however I hate to see once lovely places falling apart and I do hope that this gets an update.

Yet somehow the middle had a dip so my husband & I kept rolling in the middle. Parking, you gotta pay I think $12 a day & its not even good parking. We unfortunately visited corpus on HOCO weekend. Apparently, the kids rented the hotel lobby to have dinner & hang out. Totally fine, but we had to drive around the cramped parking lot for 20 mins of the hotel which we PAID FOR PARKING. No compensation for the hotel guest unless you made a fuss. I fussed, but what about other guest?? The view. Meh. We were 4th floor bay view room, but we had the lower decks roof in the way. See pic attached. It was meh & the Hilton honors app said nothing about a roof being in the way. We paid extra for the view. I'd rather have had the parking lot view. Maybe at least I'd see the drama of ppl finding a space. The water machine & no bugs in sight. The water machine by the ice maker is ice cold, so refreshing! The bug part is another star bc its not a roach hotel. Being right in the water, bugs always find their way in, but this hotel had it under control. I'll give them 2 stars instead of a deserved 1. We didn't pay for breakfast. Which is an insane $40 per person per day. Also, be ready to pay $150 in incidental which is refundable after check out. Just a heads up.

Finding the property was a tad confusing as it does connect with the mall parking and sorta sits off to the side. Upon arrival did the digital check in so was able to go straight to the room. The digital key was convenient until I went to the pool and was unable to access along with the side door. The front desk issued a physical key and while I got an updated digital one, was still unable to access other areas with my phone. Pool was simple and has a few areas where the tiles are missing, my room overlooked the pool and after 7pm is when it got super busy! Enjoyed that the pool is on the north side of the building so didn't get sun in the afternoon. The room was as expected, large, plenty of counter space and clean. Every night I heard kids running upstairs and could hear other noises through the walls. Also, you can hear the toilet flush in the middle of the night from another room. Not sure which one. Breakfast was ok, wasn't a fan of the set up for the hot items as the case they are in was odd. Food was ok, nothing spectacular but it works. Coffee was my favorite although the cups kept leaking so I had to double up. Overall the location is great and I'd return for that. Loved the music playing in the elevator landing and the scent for the floor was delightful!

The woman that checked us in was so rude and acted like it was such an inconvenience to give us 2 keys. Then, OMG, we get to the room and it's the wrong room type. So we change rooms and again had to ask for 2 keys for 2 people. We get to the 2nd room and 1 key did not work, so we had to go back and that about killed her to have to give us another one. Every time we walked through the lobby the person working the front was sitting in the lounge on their phone. One guy was in the lobby on his phone arguing with his wife. The 1bartender we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Another bartender sat in a golf cart playing on her phone outside. There was a political event that was going on one evening in the lobby and we couldn't even get through the people to get to our room and we did not see anyone from the hotel trying to keep a walkway clear for guests. There is no ice machine on the 1st floor so you have to go upstairs or the bartender will give you some if someone is there. You can only enter through the front door. There are other doors you can exit, but you cannot use your key to enter. Parking sucks, especially because you cannot get into any of the other doors. The room never did get very cold and this is July so it's hot. There is a bench on top of the AC, so the air does not shoot up, it is blocked. They painted all the walls white since the last time I was here and the rooms are very baron and depressing. The bedding on the bed is too heavy, especially when the AC does not cool the room.
