Water on floor for 2 days.
    Dan G.

I should have look at reviews on Yelp. Google had them at 4 stars. Everything was out of order here. Only one elevator worked, out of order ice machine with water everywhere, hallways, pool was gross, rooms smelled like mold and parking was horrible. The one star is for the staff and employees were very polite and friendly. It just what they were working with was horrible.

The USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier well within walking distance.

The Double Tree Hotel by Hilton is located at 3200 East Surfside Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas 74802. Telephone number: +1 (361) 883-9700. The Hotel and Bar are located directly on the beach and from the Hotel it is a beautiful sight. As you enter the restaurant, on the left side are large windows along the side wall. Tables and chairs are lined with the wall so that with any table you have the beautiful sight of the beach and off to the right you see the USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier well within walking distance of the Hotel and Aquarium. You seat yourself as you wish and of course sat next to a window with the beautiful view. You see pretty close families sitting on the beach and playing in the water. The waiter arrived and I ordered Cobb salad with shrimp and for dessert I had the cutest carrot cake (please see in the added pictures). The restaurant was absolutely clean and up to date. The waiter staff were nicely professionally dressed. Jackie balancing three plates with a beautiful smile stopped for a moment for a picture and Joe stopped for a picture moment (good looking guy that he is) as he continued to wait on customers. The food was really good and all the customers were having a wonderful time. A very fun and beautiful place to be. You can sit and enjoy. The parking is directly in front of the hotel. Parking does require you to use your phone to establish parking. It is real easy to do. The area around the hotel is not so nice. I never saw any people at all. Before leaving the hotel check with the front desk for directions as there construction as well there and is easy to be lost. I left after sun set and was lost but returned to the hotel and was given very easy directions. I had a wonderful time and if you have the chance it is a fantastic opportunity to see the view, swim, get some sun as the gentle waves roll onto the beach, enjoy the restaurant and see everyone enjoying the beach and top it off with some dessert and of course there are the liquid libations. If you make the trip you will never forget the vacation and in your mind review it over and over. Enjoy.

    Great view from the lobby!

BREASTFEEDING FRIENDLY: Water dispensers on every floor with GREAT quality water (very important to me). I usually have to travel with water but I didn't have to because of the dispensers. Lots of places to sit comfortably. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. I'm a new mom with 2 babies. Traveling with kids can be tricky. But everyone I encountered at this hotel offered a helping hand.

Tall building is the DoubleTree. USS Lexington is a short walk from the hotel. The aquarium can't be seen but it's also close.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly. At the counter, in the restaurant, the cleaners, every worker I interacted with was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The restroom and shower stall were also clean. I love how it's right by the beach. I stayed here to visit the USS Lexington and the aquarium which are a short walk away. I also took a walk on the pathway parallel the beach. I used LFYT but I did see a sign at the parking lot that stated parking is via phone. I hope to visit Corpus Christi again. If I do I'll stay at this hotel again.

Staff was so incredibly kind and helpful! The rooms were spacious and clean. Location was perfect as well! We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Joey is a badass at the bar. Me and my girl were posted up here after a long day of travel from Houston to Corpus Christi and he kept the drinks coming and good vibes with his immaculate taste in music & Hawaiian shirts 10/10 recommend Someone give this man a raise!

I'll give them solid 4 stars. Like others said the construction is quite bad but the hotel overall was good experience. Hotel bed: the bed I actually really comfy. That is huge for me. I like owners who actually buy comfy beds and don't cheap out and get bad uncomfortable beds. So if you are picky about beds and want good nights rest you will enjoy the bed. Also the AC is ice cold. If you like ice cold AC like me you will not be disappointed! The ac blows cold and the beds are very comfy. You are also very close to the water. Which is great. You are close to pretty of restaurants as well. The construction is quite annoying though I will admit. It will be worth it once Hilton finishes the updates. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again. Also I booked using hot wire so I was able to get the room at a decent rate. I wouldn't pay full price for this place. Only with a discount.

This is a review for the restaurant inside the Hilton .You do not have to be a guest to eat here . It was late and everything was closed around us , so we decided to stop by and grab a bite to eat since it was right on the beach front . Place stays open late . The food was meh and very bland . Something you would expect from a hotel eatery . Service was a bit slow but our waitress was very nice and accommodating . Not the best food but an ok place to eat if you have no other options .

This was our first time vising Corpus Christi and it was a wonderful experience! This place was right on the beach within walking distance to the USS Lexington and the Aquarium. Plenty of food options in the area as well as souvenir shops. The front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating when we decided to stay another night but switched to an ocean view room. They had the new room cleaned and ready in no time! The morning breakfast was decent, and the manager was out making sure we were enjoying the food and was there to help if we needed anything else. Great experience!

While on a business trip for Corpus Christi, I was told to stay at the Omni hotel for its cleanliness, location, and fantastic customer service. All three were well above superior in all areas. The scenery was fantastic. The customer service was amazing. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was superb. Clean towels and beds were made daily. I would recommend this place to anyone. Five Plus Stars.

We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with cheesecake on our special day, which was a very nice touch. The room itself could definitely use some upgrades for the price you pay. We stayed in the Executive Suite on the 6th floor and honestly expected a better view for the cost. The balcony had no chairs and was separated by a wall, leaving only a tiny space to step outside briefly before going back in. The beach view was decent, but I would probably upgrade to a better room next time. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward, with the toilet extremely close to the tub, but that seems more like a builder design issue. Overall, the room was okay. Having a microwave, keurig and fridge was a huge plus since those amenities are not advertised. We also dined at Republic of Texas Bar & Grill, and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the other amenities. The Executive Suite includes two TVs, but they barely worked. They are not smart TVs, and we were unable to cast any of our shows even though it stated we could. We called for assistance, someone came to the room, and we were told someone would follow up once the issue was fixed, but the TVs actually worked worse afterward. It also took forever for them to come back on after we returned from dinner. Since relaxing and watching TV is one of the hotel amenities we enjoy most, I do have to take a star off for that experience. Had the issue been resolved, I would have easily given the hotel 5 stars. I've included pictures to help others choose their room because the photos on the Omni Corpus Christi website are not very helpful.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we waited several minutes for valet, who appeared distracted and not paying attention. Check-in was equally frustrating--we were told our suite wasn't ready and that we'd receive a text when it was. That never happened. We went to the bar to pass the time and initially found no one around. Eventually, Devin came over and completely turned that part of the experience around--he was apologetic, attentive, and provided excellent service. A great example of how far simple kindness and professionalism can go. After waiting, we went back to the front desk to check on our room, only to find out it had been ready--no notification, no follow-up. The initial front desk associate was nowhere to be found, but thankfully J stepped in and handled things well. She was kind, apologetic, and helpful once we explained the situation. The suite itself had a nice view and was spacious, but it definitely needs updating and was missing a few expected touches. For the price point, we anticipated a more polished experience. Unfortunately, the issues didn't end there. After the concert, we went to the upstairs bar and waited over an hour for a simple burger. During that time, the staff appeared more focused on socializing than serving guests. It was incredibly frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had at a hotel. While a few individuals (Devin and J) stood out positively, the overall lack of communication, attentiveness, and accountability overshadowed everything. We chose this hotel expecting it to be one of the nicest in Corpus--and it was anything but. I would not recommend staying here and would suggest looking at other options, like the Marriott or elsewhere. This experience has honestly made me reconsider staying at Omni properties in the future.

The front desk issued a physical key and while I got an updated digital one, was still unable to access other areas with my phone. Pool was simple and has a few areas where the tiles are missing, my room overlooked the pool and after 7pm is when it got super busy! Enjoyed that the pool is on the north side of the building so didn't get sun in the afternoon. The room was as expected, large, plenty of counter space and clean. Every night I heard kids running upstairs and could hear other noises through the walls. Also, you can hear the toilet flush in the middle of the night from another room. Not sure which one. Breakfast was ok, wasn't a fan of the set up for the hot items as the case they are in was odd. Food was ok, nothing spectacular but it works. Coffee was my favorite although the cups kept leaking so I had to double up. Overall the location is great and I'd return for that. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the bar is a total vibe. They also have a great happy hour. This area is actually prefect because it's conveniently located near tons of restaurants and shopping. The hotel is clean, I could smell the cleanliness as I entered the door. The room was also clean I felt comfortable enough to walk about the room in my socks. The bathroom was spotless as well. The floor were freshly mopped. Which is a major plus for me because as stated before everyone's definition of clean isn't the same. The AC unit is obnoxiously loud. Imagine being so noisy and still not work. It didn't heat nor cool the room and refused to go off. Talking about barely getting rest and I am in town for a work trip go figure. But the front desk staff did offer to switch my room but I only had one more night so I didn't want to waste a room. The water pressure in the sink is extremely low. The toilet has to be flushed twice to get it to do anything remotely close actually flushing. The mattress is hard as a rock and the pillows went completely flat once I rested my head upon one. The parking is limited for such a large hotel but it didn't really seem to affect my stay. But on a holiday or busy weekend I can see how that can be a problem.

To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe.
