I decided to have my daughter assessed independently, and we were shocked to learn she was testing below a kindergarten level (she was in 1st grade) in both reading and math. The lack of academic progress made sense once I actually saw how the classrooms are run. I substitute taught at the school several times and quickly realized that the "teachers" are not licensed educators. They simply stand there and read verbatim what a book tells them to say. They are untrained employees. They are literally just reading instructions out loud, not actually teaching the students. I immediately withdrew my kids. My daughter started second grade in the Williamson County public school system and was far behind. It took over two years of RTI, summer school, and private tutors just to get her caught up to her peers.

I know there is lot of negative comments about this school and the administration online, but it is unwarranted. There are many lovely families at Thales, the tuition is very affordable, the year round schedule is the absolute best, especially if you have wiggly boys (we have five) Homework is minimal. I came to Ensworth last minute to attend high school my freshman year. They welcomed me in with open arms and did not brag at all about their success but let the school and there students speak for itself. Yes, this school is very exclusive Pre 1st - 12th but it isn't for no reason. I cannot even begin to explain how phenomenal the faculty and staff is at Ensworth. I can go back and visit many of my teachers and converse about my endeavors and the growth of the school. They truly care. Also the college counseling department is very helpful with the students college application process. In addition, academically I was more than prepared for college. Anyone to say any different probably comes from a rival school which is natural. As a student I use to hear it all the time. If you do not want to believe me look at where our graduating students are attending school and their accomplishments just in high school. For example, out of my graduating class of 105, 3 students where accepted to Harvard and that is just the beginning. The facts are indisputable.

My boys are complete opposites, 1 really struggled in a couple subjects and was afraid of falling behind, the other understands things right away and was afraid of getting bored. None of their teachers ever allowed those things to happen. There are a lot of great extra curricular activities starting in Kindergarten! The school is always getting the kids involved in helping the community and those in need, which made a huge impact on my boys and their compassion for others. I could go on and on! I am very disappointed with my experience at Primrose. I started sending my little one there half…read moreday, and already at the third day I realized something was off. I sent her 4 days half day the first week, and 3 days half day the second week. That's when I decided to give withdrawal notice and quit without hesitation. I'm relieved she is not there anymore, and we started in a new daycare FULL-DAY and she is already doing better, and I take her home being her normal self. We started there because the facility was supposed to be top notch. That's not the case at all. I'm relieved that my child is no longer there. The lack of care and attention is remarkable. And my kid as well other kids needs were not prioritized. It started becoming a priority only when I gave notice that my kid wasn't going back. That's when they started calling and saying "we will be more considerate of your kid crying and feelings, and we will try not to let her cray all day". And I know kids need time to adapt, but no one really genuinely helped her or took time to care. She was left to cry while laying there who knows for how long. And the app that they use to update parents and provide pictures? Forget about it. No feedback was ever provided on how her day went. Her updates were not updated, and when they were it was because I would call and ask. And even then, there were inconsistencies. For example, changes of diaper while napping, or updates about her drinking her bottle but I would go and pick her up and her bottle was still there, or that she woke up from her nap while I was literally entering the classroom and she was sleeping AGAIN. Pictures were sent only the first day, and that was it. Bottom line, they would leave her to cry and cry herself to sleep constantly. Not to talk about lies. They would constantly say she didn't cry she had a beautiful day, while the little one was still sobbing. Or the day I went to pick up her stuff, on of the directors at the entrance told me "your little one is cuddling in the classroom". My kid never went to day care that day, she was already out of there. Those are just examples, but I could go on and on. And she was there just for a very short period of time. And I already feel awful I sent her to such a horrible place. This place is not a daycare, is a money making facility. PLEASE, DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE. LOOK ELSEWHERE. THEY ONLY CARE ANOUT MONEY AND NOT THE CHILDREN.

The performance was excellent, the acoustics were perfect, and everything went smoothly! The concert proceeds were donated to Make-A-Wish so we also got to hear some moving stories about the impact the foundation has. Overall, it was a great opportunity to see some art and listen to a wonderful choral performance.
