We enrolled in Alex's Saturday dog walks where we socialize with other dogs and their owners, working the dogs in a group environment. Alex brings the most recent breakthroughs in cognitive science and has transformed many of our outdated training methods. He brings new activities and resources which move us quickly to become the best leaders and guardians for our dog. Who knew training could be this interesting and so much fun! We adopted our dog from ASPCA recovery center and she had quite a few behavioral issues. She was…read morenippy, barking and jumping a lot which actually scared me since we have little kids. After working with Alex, we realized that her biggest issue was that she was "over-excited". Alex recommended her to be on anxiety medication which we found was VERY helpful and needed. He also explained to us how to monitor her levels of excitement by using commands and waiting for her to calm down before she became jumpy, nippy and barking. We also realized that we needed to use a muzzle when new people came in and around our 2 year old to make sure she's not nippy with them. All this and the commands gave us huge relief. We had 4 sessions with Alex and have had her for 3 months and we feel so much better. We definitely recommend Alex. He knows what he's doing and he's so kind with the dogs.

Koda and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we had in class. Of course my 4mo puppy was the star of the class, never once barked or was startled by anything. The interior facility looked nice, i would have gladly paid the additional cost for a big private area for them, but only general pupulstion was available. I was hesitant from the get go leaving my dogs here, the conditions looked like a puppy mill, but i was told that they have a vet onsite and that the conditions would be fine, lots of other dogs, etc, etc, etc.. well, with little other choice they were left. The staff is actually amazing. Everyone was helpful and nice, probably the best dog-sitters from a compassionate point of view. Unfortunately, much like multiple other reviews listed here, our dogs came home hurt, two had kennel cough, another had some form of bacterial infection and was on some form of medication for almost 3 months. I think the staff is wonderful to your pets, but the place must be filthy. I really wanted to like this place, as the staff was far better than the pet palace, but my dogs come back safe from pet palace and financially the pet palace is actually cheaper. Would have liked to have reviewed this with more stars, as they did help me out of a bind, but all said and done, i could have just taken them all with me. 1 extra star for the good kids working there.
