I looked up wait times where I could find them and 3 hours for Urgent care, 4 likely for ER. We were so pleased we were able to make a 6:00 pm appointment at the Urgency Room. They accept Medicare and we have BCBS supplemental. Check in was fast, not many in the waiting area. Chairs were SO comfortable, which mattered because my husband had sprained his back. We were called back quickly to a room (maybe ten minutes?), nurse came within minutes and she was so kind. Just lovely. Not long, doctor was there. So respectful and kind, really listened and explained recommendations. Just WOW. Nice room like an ER, btw, with a bed instead of examine table to climb up on. The doctor could check my husbands back from the chair, which helped rather than have to lie down, which would hurt. Ordered CT, a very nice and upbeat tech came, wheeled him down the hall. They came back so fast I thought the CT couldn't be done yet but it was. Doctor came not long after that, explained CT was all clear. Prescribed zip pack of steroids, nurse found us the address of a 24/7 pharmacy in Savage (Walgreens). Paper work checked out right in the room where we sat not long after that. We drove away a little before 8:00. Efficient, kind, happy staff, large, beautiful facility that must have quite the capacity considering we didn't have to wait for anything and the parking lot was full when we got there. Two pills later, my husband slept through the night for the first time in six days. Couldn't have worked any better. What a gift for us, and now five days later he is mended and walking, sitting, sleeping without pain. Went from screaming yelps to all better. Whew.

Called the other day to inquire about walk ins- the person on the phone had no personality on the…read morephone. Her tone was flat and she just said well we take only serious things like strokes and heart attacks. I said pretty sure you don't take strokes and heart attacks and they would need a ER facility- I mean come on. Then she said well things like broken bones- I said anything else because online it does say you can do a walk in- then she said well bad stomach pains and then she hung up. Important to have people with the correct info that answer phones and actually give a shit about who they are talking too.

I do not know all the technical terms but I CAN tell you that after a 17 year battle with many other less sensitive healthcare professionals my child is now becoming happier, more confident, and a mentally healthier individual. My child's patner is also seen here because she has an extreme reaction to needles. Family Tree is the only resource (after 7 other facilities) to supply the accommodation necessary for her anxiety control so a blood draw could be accomplished. The clinic has gone beyond any normal standard of care. Lastly, when visiting, I appreciate the calm attitudes, the unique waiting room, and the educational materials available. It is a SAFE PLACE for all.

Let's just take care of this minor issue now and make the trip as the Plato Ave locations showed 15-20 minutes waiting. Here's a little trick. If you use Health Partners and want urgent care you can search quickly for "Health Partners Urgent Care Waiting Times". Presto all your answers. This was a pleasant experience as we had warm and efficient service, fairly short waiting time in the little room and out the door. Huge parking lot, so that should not be problem.

I'm driving and I didn't have a safe way to listen to the message or answer the call, probably won't return to this clinic. He jump down my mom's throat for details on her medical charts, that had nothing to do with the appointment. The entire time, he treated us with discrimination and hatred. We already knew from urgent care that she tore her meniscus. The only thing he needed to do was refer her to an orthopedic, and he never even did that. My mother has no issues with her meds, and her knee has been extremely painful to the point she can barely walk. She did not deserve the discrimination she experienced over being on pain meds. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here who expects to be treated with dignity and respect.

Besides the awesome bathrooms with neato tiles, they have huge hallways, non-80s art, and some sweet medical-techno gadgets on site. The nurses, doctors, midwives, and especially the front desk ladies are crazy nice and don't seem to be rushing me along as usual HMO providers could. Dr. Van Dyck was very rushed, giggled maniacally when he shared with me he is an introvert and only drinks his tea at home (I'm thinking to myself: "Good. Because if you had caffeine you would be a complete freak"). Like I should care? WHY are you wasting MY precious 20 minutes of time -- that you keep reminding me we are running out of whenever I ask you for your advice about something -- shooting the breeze with me and sharing all this info about yourself as if I would care? Why are you telling me about your wife? And your kids? You are the caregiver, I am the patient. My precious 20 minutes is about my health, not your personal life. Both he and his assistant Emily snickered any time they mentioned me having a very unpleasant but highly recommended diagnostic exam done -- which I thought was really unprofessional. I finally had to ask "Why are you both snickering when you say this? How is telling me I should have it done funny?" You're supposedly educated health care professionals, not 12-year-olds. It makes me extremely uneasy that the people I am putting in charge of my health care and medical records are snickering about any health-related issues I may have. Unless of course, these are not health care professionals, but health care CLOWNS. What else are they snickering about? Are they snickering about you and your health too? In his anxiety-fueled haste, the Dr. glossed over a pretty serious acute and excruciatingly painful issue I'm having because, as he blamed the insurance, "It was not in line with what is done in a checkup as insurance defines it" -- so I am going to have to end up going to the emergency room, which is then going to cost the insurance company a lot more to cover. He even did "examine" a body part related to what I have going on, but it took a visit to my chiropractor to notice that I had a tremendous amount of inflammation around my ear and lymph nodes. How could this Dr actually have even looked at the area after I told him I was in excruciating pain and not seen anything, when my chiropractor noticed right away? I felt the clinic was overall not good for anything except referrals. They were on time and everything moved along quickly, but it was really sloppy & unprofessional. And I think this Dr. needs to work on his own mindfulness and stress management skills. I've been to plenty of other medical professionals and no, they don't all act like this. If you know you are giving inferior care and you're going to use the excuse that the system won't let you give the quality of care you want to, then put some energy into changing the frickin' system, you fool. Or go into another profession because -- and I don't care what medical school you went to -- you are clearly not good at, nor passionate, about being a physician. The most I will use this doctor for is to get referrals to someone who can actually do something.

I was seen not long ago for a sinus infection the appointment…read moreonly took 5 minutes with the doctor/ nurse practitioner tops my bill was almost 500.00 dollars for nothing and this isn't the first time I got an outragous bill for doctors or nurse practitioner to not do anything. I also saw a doctor after a god awful car accident the guy was a joke and super rude. they lost there care for human beings at this clinic.
