She said she was allergic, so I left with my service animal. Shocked at the behavior of a person who doesn't understand service animals are not pets but a helpful guide dog with people with disabilities. At the time, there was a misunderstanding, and I was treated in a way that was difficult for me. While that experience stayed in my heart, I chose to move forward with forgiveness and understanding, knowing that sometimes people simply don't know what they don't know. Today, I returned to the library for the first time in several years, and I am truly grateful I did. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine respect, kindness, and professionalism. It meant more to me than I can fully express, because it showed growth, compassion, and a willingness to learn from the past. I have always loved public libraries -- especially for discovering incredible books, vintage titles, and sources of profound information that you don't easily find elsewhere. I had no idea this library held such a beautiful and extensive collection, and it reminded me why reading and learning bring me so much joy. This experience healed something for me. I am thankful for the positive change, for the welcoming environment, and for a library that clearly cares about its community. I look forward to returning again and spending many more quiet hours surrounded by books.

This is a small library at the galleria mall. It's across from the lawn/park. There is parking to…read morethe side, and a parking garage not to far away. Their return boxes are on the side where the street parking is. Just a few parking spots. Two very nice lady's were up at the front desk. I had asked about getting a membership, which was a quick form to fill out with basic information. And a drivers license. Within minutes I had my very own Bee Cave library card. Like I said, this is a small library, independent. But they do have a lot of wonderful books to check out for 3 weeks. And if you need to renew a book, it's another 3 weeks. They didn't have the books I was looking for today. But I can alway check back another day, or use the "Libby" app.

This is one of our favorite libraries when it comes to "third spaces" for children. We go to many…read morein the area but even in special kid rooms, it sometimes feel like they don't understand that toddlers are wiggly and noisy. The play area outside is amazing. With the upgrades the sand pit and music center give kids tons to do. They have a chalkboard and a little tin container that usually has chalk inside it. There's a cool wooden Structure kids can climb and go inside of- lots of room for kids to have some imaginative play. The story times are great here too!

I got my library card today and turned in my voter registration forms. The ladies at the front desk were both so amazing and friendly. The upstairs area has study spaces and plenty of books. The study rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many great resources to explore and the librarians were so happy to share. There are movie nights events, a silent book club, puzzle fun, and much more. Upstairs there is an area for plant propagation and a car you can complete if you have a plant question. Take a look, it's in a book ! Get you a library card!

The Georgetown library is a wonderful place to be. Getting a library card is easy. You just need to…read moreshow your identification and proof of residency. The card is free. You can check out books or music. There's a lot of places to sit in here and I see people sitting and enjoying each other's company. Some people are studying on their laptop. They have a wonderful sweet lemon kitchen area to get some food and drink drinks. The people who work here are very kind and helpful. You can check out the availability of your book online and reserve it, and they will put it in a special place for you. However, I love going through and just looking through the books and finding my book myself . There's something special about a book! When the book is due to be returned, they generously text you and ask if they can extend the rental, the avoiding charges for forgetting to return a book! There are events that are held at the library, such as concerts and other gatherings. They are posted in the front of the library. You should go look at them. This has become my new regular place. I am now reading a book series and it's so nice that I don't have to buy the book. I just read a book and I bring it back and I get the next one and in the meantime I'm certain to make a new friend! They have a children's section that just looks amazing. They even have a Jeep in there for the children to play! It is modified to be completely safe. There's no risk here. They have an elevator so you don't have to take the stairs to the second floor if you don't want to. When I was there, they were having a sculpture sale and it was just beautiful sculptures all over the library just wonderful. I highly recommend this library.

I wish my 27 month little girls could write a review but she can't yet so I will write on her…read morebehalf, last Thursday after dinner I told her our plans for Friday morning, big mistake lol She thought I meant we were going to music and movement at the library in that moment!! That remind her of Marybeth, the teacher who does story time at the library, and she said "I miss her" "I want to see her" I tried to explain to her that I was talking about our activity for next day, I remind her about the central library but nope She wanted to go to the Howson library in that moment and see Marybeth lol "I lover her" she said and started crying... I can normally snap her out of anything, I got toys out, played music, I was being really silly but the two year old in her wanted Marybeth.... Well, what do you do?! Check if the library is open, drive there and pray MB is there or wait another 20 minute and see if your kid forgets about it?! I choose my battles and I got my car keys and we drove there in our sleepers looking like a hot mess lol Marybeth was there, I told her about Brynn's moment and She was so sweet to her!! We picked few books and Brynn was so happy!!! On the way home she said "I cried for MB" "I love her" Today, a week later she remember the story and said "remember I cried" "I miss her" I knew what she meant lol She asked me to sing the little red wagon and you are my sunshine like Marybeth. Well, with all that said I want to say thank you so much Marybeth for your extraordinary work, your amazing energy and your enthusiasm when sharing your songs with the kids, and reading those awesome books everywhere week! You are in Brynn's heart and that is priceless! We are so grateful for YOU. I been working with kids for 20 years and I know when a caregiver works with passion and joy!
