Choosing a photographer for a wedding is a big decision because your photos will be long-lasting…read moremementos of the day, and also because there are a lot of variables (style, quality, personality, price, etc.). We loved the photos we saw on JPG's website and their commitment to customers was clear from our very first conversation with Joe. We worked together to come up with a price/package that met our needs and chose Matt Bender as our primary photographer. Our engagement session gave us a chance to get to know Matt and for him to know us. When the big day came, we felt very comfortable with him and he (along with 2 other photographers) did a great job managing our family and bridal party for group shots. Many guests commented that our photographers were awesome throughout the evening. This skill should not be overlooked when you are evaluating a wedding photographer! In the end, we were thrilled with the quality and variety of pictures. The photo journalistic style captured the true essence of the day and there were a lot of really fun shots. To top it off, all of JPG's wedding packages include a DVD or thumb drive of high-res images with personal use rights - which means you have full flexibility when it comes to albums and prints. Bottom line: JPG brought the style, quality, and personality we were looking for at a competitive price. They were easy to work with from start to finish and we could not have been happier with the results.

Caveat emptor...buyer beware…read more We really have no idea how these guys get the ratings they do. We are crushed by the disappointment in their service. We not only cannot recommend JPG, we would strongly caution against using them. In spite of planning together with the photographer and being clear about our intentions not to photograph the prep, we had to wait for them to set up after we were long ready. The 14 weeks from event to actual pictures were astonishing. Even more so after getting them and seeing just how little thought and effort went into their editing and "organization". Also - be prepared to be referred to your contract repeatedly. They will hold it up anytime you ask for something.

I can't say enough about our amazing experience working with Todd for our daughter's bat mitzvah…read more From the moment we were first in touch, I was impressed that he wanted to meet her. While many would find it sufficient to work with me, he really wanted to get to know her - he even invited her brother to come so he gets to know our family! All of our interactions leading up to the event were so pleasant and professional - he is simply a wonderful person. However, where I was really blown away was at the event itself. Todd was on hand at every turn to capture every person, every moment - yet somehow managed to do so unobtrusively. Not only was he there for candid photos but he captured photos of each group of friends and family coming in. In our own posed photo session, he brought out each and every one of our family members' personalities. He was a tremendous part of our celebration. Where his gift of seeing people and his keen eye truly emerged was when we saw the photos that he took of the event. I could not believe what he captured. It wasn't just that he was there, in moments I didn't even see: what really captivated us was how he SAW us. If you did not know our family at all, you would learn who we are, who our daughter is, and our spirit, all from these photos. From tender hugs, thoughtful gazes, silly moments - Todd captured it all. Our photo album is magnifacent, and will be the thing that memorializes this event and our family for years and generations to come. Todd is a joy to work with and I am so grateful that our journey brought him into our lives. He will be the ONLY person we call from this point forward! Thank you, Todd!

We casually discussed photography style, wedding album creation and our venue Merion Tribute House. A venue he knew very well. It's nearly Christmas and we just received our stick drive of all our photos. Todd captured every moment we discussed and so much more. We are so happy with our experience. I can not wait to start curating our wedding album with Todd.

I cried from the detail shots all the way until the pictures from the reception. We did our engagement shoot with Anthony at Valley Forge with our two kids, 1 year old daughter at the time and he was great! They were by far my favorite family pictures we have ever done. The pictures for the wedding day were beyond natural which is exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn't want things to seem posed or have to re pose for pictures. They caught majority of the pictures in action, and pictures that they didn't catch the poses were not unnatural and the pictures came out perfect. I had every intention to do my first looks at the venue which we had a decent amount. I was doing one with my son, my dad and obviously my husband and my husband was going to do one with our daughter. Cassandra last minute suggested that we do mine and my dads first look at the hotel which was the perfect idea! It saved us time when we got to the venue where we didn't have to rush around to fit in an extra first look and my dad could be with us right away. We also did a video with them and that was beyond amazing I cry every single time I watch the videos and I probably will cry every time I watch them. Anthony and his team was beyond amazing, from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. Everything was effortless for us. Cassandra was beyond amazing with keeping everything on a perfect schedule and making it run smoothly and dealing with my husbands crazy groomsmen. I felt zero stress throughout the day or like I was being rushed and it helped me enjoy our special day even more. By the end of the night I was almost sad to say goodbye because I had felt like I knew them. I will recommend Duca Studio again and again! And we will be going back for family pictures next year!!

You will probably spend more time with this person than any other vendor, and I am so glad we had the opportunity to get to know Lindsay. She was able to capture our experience of the wedding, as well as, all the wonderful moments we missed. We now have all the beautiful photos of the ceremony, formals and first dance, but also a priceless record of all of our friends and family who attended. She was able to do this because not only could she magically "disappear" when needed (she must have teleported around the ceremony), but is also very intuitive and can capture people's personalities. She was able to capture ours because we were incredibly comfortable around her. We got a vendor crush during the engagement session and liked her more and more. Lindsay is also great because she takes the photos that you want. She doesn't push you to take photos that are posed and cheesy, but knows better than you might (or I did) that some of the photos you don't think are important she will secretly snap. What more can I say? This woman is amazing.

He discussed with the couple and was happy to work with their plans and what they did and didn't want, and very thoughtful about the photography options with great suggestions. He was a super nice guy as well. The day of the event he was professional, very flexible in the face of lots of cooks in the kitchen, clearly knew what he was doing, and really nice to work with. He knew how to compose shots and make them look great. But most important, the pictures came out wonderful! Finally, his fee was completely reasonable and appropriate to the occasion (unlike other photographers we contacted who said they had a minimum wedding fee whether or not it was a large, standard wedding event). I would say he exceeded expectations, and made it a super comfortable low-stress process. I would 100% hire him again!
