We decided to do engagement photos at our house to be a bit more of a relaxed environment. After the day with Jes, he told me he had a lot of fun and it was more emotional than he expected. Jes made it centered around our love and really made it less about the photos are more of an experience. That really shined through the photos as well. On the big day, we were very adamant that we make sure that the photos do not take away from the experience and we wanted to enjoy the day. Jes was amazing. She even pulled me away when I she could tell I was being overwhelmed. I cannot imagine our day without her. Thank you so much Jes! Love, Sam + Tom

After seeing an amazing birth announcement done by Lauren brown studios, I contacted them about…read moredoing the logo for my new coffee shop. After a one on one consultation, it was clear that Lauren could see my vision for the shop. There is something to be said for working directly with your designer, especially when you are investing so much of yourself into a project. I believe that Lauren Brown was excited for the concept I was working on and totally poured herself into the design of my logo. After seeing what Lauren put together for me, I hired her to do all of my branding. My shop is only a couple of months old now and doing well. I have to give Lauren some credit for our initial success. Our logo and branding very effectively communicates who we are and attracts our target market. My inspiration for taking time to write this comes from a compliment paid to me by a customer. They first asked who had done the design and then went on to say that they were also a graphic designer ( he shared his portfolio with me and it was impressive). This guy then admitted that he is usually quite critical when it comes to logos and branding and finds most people get it wrong. But, he said, in this case, he couldn't find a single thing he'd do differently!

I normally don't like to wear makeup, and wanted a natural look. She nailed it! The bridal party and moms were just as happy with how their hair and makeup turned out as well! The day of the wedding was very hot, 95 degrees. Our hair and makeup lasted throughout the day (just as Ryann said it would) and looked great not only in person, but also in photographs! We really appreciated her style of photography - deep rich colors and focus on the couple. Other photographers seemed to have a lot of strange angles and washed out colors, which we were trying to avoid. Hiring Maria was a breeze. She is responsive by email and always happy to jump on a call when needed. Part of her package included engagement photos, which were extremely helpful when putting together our save the dates and website. She is intuitive, yet also did a good job of asking us for our preferences to confirm. The wedding day was also a breeze, and Maria documented all of our key moments without being intrusive at all. Maria's turnaround times are excellent, and she was never late with delivering sneak peeks or the digital albums. Finally, we also worked with Maria on the final physical photo album. She was very flexible and allowed us to have multiple rounds of revisions. She was very accommodating even when we wanted to swap out many photos for more preferred variations. It was a lot of work and Maria did not hesitate to help us develop the perfect album. Overall my wife and I would highly recommend Maria for any event based on our experience working with her for our wedding. Thanks Maria!
