They cared for my father-in-law for nearly a decade and he was so happy with them he was well cared for AND loved. They provided a safe, comfortable homey environment with the daily help and support he needed. They helped him with self care such as bathing, meals and medication. He had plenty of entertainment options such as reading, board games, television, arts and crafts and most importantly, daily human interaction. Our communications were easy and constant. We were always aware of any changes in his day to day care or habits. We were always kept current on any changes to all medications he was receiving. My father-in-law was not always an easy person to please or get along with, but they took the time to understand his needs as well as his wants. They went out of their way to help him find his happy. They would even make special meals just for him or provide special treats (root beer floats) or snacks that he loved!! It's never easy making a choice to rely on others for something as important as the care and wellbeing of a loved one. But from the first phone conversation, it was clear that our needs in the situation were just as important to them as our loved one's needs. They helped set our minds at ease about the changes that were coming for him and us. We were a team working together to provide a much better quality of life than we would have been able to provide for him by ourselves. Without their help, love and support, our family would have been lost.

Mike is treated as family here, playing with grandkids and loving the friendly dogs. They serve his favorite foods and keep him suppled with good books and activities. They really care about him and appreciate and encourage his interests. We had moved my brother into Theresa's care after several other very disappointing assisted living facilities in the area treated him with indifference and rudeness. I wholeheartedly recommend Caring Hearts.

The facility is light and bright and well maintained, and the meals always smell sooooo tasty (OK, I sampled, they are GOOD!). We never visit at the same time, and no matter when we drop in she is always clean, dressed (in HER OWN clothes! ...if you know, you know), and engaged, enjoying herself. Her room is neat and tidy and smelling fresh and her clothes are laundered. In our previous experiences, this wasn't always the case... The team is compassionate and treats all the residents with dignity and respect. They have a sense of fun and you can tell they love what they do and know it makes a difference. They plan fun activities on a regular basis and special events that are really a hoot (Elvis impersonator anyone? Cowboy sing-a-long? Just examples!). They keep us up to date on her changing needs and status. They are always available to answer a call and provide information just to ease my mind. But most importantly I think, as I grieve what my mother is losing and say goodbye to who she was, they take joy every day in who she is now, genuinely enjoy her spirit and sass, and help me to see the joy in that too. I sleep well at night knowing she is in the hands of folks that care for her, physically and emotionally. Tracy and her team are unmatched, and we couldn't be more pleased with their entire program.

Having traveled the highway between Madison Wisconsin and Cambridge Wisconsin countless times I…read morehave often seen the sign to this place of rehabilitation. Though until this fine day of traveling the states fine roads I never thought that I'd be well served to get a gander of where our boisterous youth and other less dangerous offenders of the law might be sent for getting their head right. And I'm impressed! By golly this place looks quite delightful. The grounds are kept nicely and I see even a gorgeous garden where I'm to believe the guests (like bottom tier employees, who instead of a promising future, shared stock options, benefits etc, are awarded the glorious title of "associate" to instill a sense of acceptance by their superiors!) aka inmates (to be less kind) are fed heathy in season vegetables in their diets. I don't see any livestock though I'm going to presume they must be out grazing and getting ready to provide fresh nutritious dairy products, chickens for the same. If I was still a youthful young budding juvenile delinquent I'd be actually rather excited to think that if I really screwed the pooch a judge might grant me a few months stay at this adorable and profitable service to our (me too!) tax paying citizens of Dane county. I shall be reviewing more of these hidden gems not found on google earth (for the safety of the nearby populace I'm told) or most tourist stops dotting Wisconsins roadways.
