The window in the room had a ripped screen and broken glass that was taped back into place. The air conditioner wasn't loud but also didn't cool the room very well. There were lots of TV channel choices on a very small TV. The hot water was very slow to heat up in the morning and the water pressure was OK. The breakfast choices were all processed sugar grab and go things and a mushy apple and a rotten banana and the fruit basket. There was no screaming hooker sex in the room next to me like in the other review. That was a plus! Also, if you would like to throw your money & dreams away in electronic slot machines, then that is a convenience they offer here. Was it the worst place I've ever stayed? No, but close and for $90ish I would definitely never stay here again.

Habenero poppers, French toast, bacon and yogurt with strawberries and coconut, along with fresh brewed coffee, greeted us the first morning. Oven roasted butternut squash, blueberries, avocado English muffins and omelets were served the second morning. Conversation flowed easily with our hosts. We stayed in the Carbondale Room, the upstairs suite. A comfortable king bed, shower and toilet, along with a closet and dresser, make up the room. He was waited on by Jayci. She told him that they just checked in a baseball team and there were no other rooms ready. When he asked when would they be ready, she told him she didn't know, and picked up the phone that was ringing. He came out to the car and told me. I immediately went back into the hotel because that was unacceptable. I was greeted by Jeff because Jayci was still on a call. I told him what my husband said and he asked me to wait while he finished with someone and then helped us. The rooms were still very clean and the breakfast and coffee are good. We are asking for someone to do something about one employee please.

They have coffee available 24/7, and it's actually pretty good coffee. The pool was really nice too. It's conveniently located but not so close to the main road you can hear cars at night. My wofe stayed the night before int he bridal suite which is huge. If the complete bridal party wanted to stay the night before the wedding they could with ease. We had a very big bridal party containing 20 people and had plenty of room. The outside of the mansion is beautifully landscaped with a gorgeous lake out front with a couple of fountains inside.
