If you're looking for rustic, this is the place for you. A lot of history on this property. Second time we stayed here. Jim and Katy are inviting, make you feel at home. Katy makes an incredible breakfast! Best French Toast I've ever had! And lemonade is amazing! Stayed in the Lake Cabin. The sunrises were beautiful and it's so peaceful here. A perfect place to unwind. Had a campfire at night, it was so relaxing. Highly recommend staying here. Just keep in mind it's old so you'll have dust and maybe some critters...you'll live and love the experience. read more

I would love to report how the Olde Squat Inn is, but since they would not accept my reservation I can't. After sending a DETAILED email to the address listed in their website, I received a response that there was a cabin available and I should call! My family was so excited! When I called, however, Jim quoted a price $75 MORE PER ADULT than the website lists for a minimum of 3 nights. (For our party of 8 adults, 3 children, this would add $2,000+!) Wow! Could this gouging have anything to do with the solar eclipse happening that day? Or is the website really that wrong? If I could give no stars, I would. read more

This is one of our best kept secrets! Olde Squat Inn is a charming Bed and Breakfast Lob Cabin Retreat Farm. It is a quiet, perfect destination for some time as a couple, or time with family. The cabins are fully stocked homes with modern conveniences, but with a camping, rustic feel. Jim and Katie are wonderful hosts. Jim makes you feel comfortable upon arrival, and Katie pulls together a phenomenal breakfast. We have just returned from our 2nd weekend in 2 years. This year we had 11 family members which shared 2 cabins for the weekend. We spent much of our day at the stocked pond fishing with grandchildren. Everyone caught fish! We spent the evening hours around a campfire in the fire ring area. It is a wonderful place! read more
