Ive been trying to keep quiet but the way she came at me this morning was wild. The truth hurts, so she told me to gather my things to get out of the hotel. I've been here for almost 2 months and last night was the worse when I met her family member which confirmed what I was thinking abt her all along. She allows her drunk cousin (whom I've never seen here since I moved in) to come wash and do what he wants to do at his free will. He sat by the door for hrs staring at my kids go in and out of the wash room, the felt so uncomfortable the way he looked at them so I went out to check it out. When I got there he did the same to me so I stared back at him... he asked me if I was ok, I told him that I was gonna ask him the same. (The worker at the time called the general manager Lena (the drunks cousin) told her what's going on she asked the him if he was drunk she replied "yea that's my cousin" because he was going around telling ppl that she's his cousin) I expressed how he made the kids feel so he stared apologizing 3800000000000000000 times he was doing so much even his son told him to CHILL several times! I left back to my room and left the kids to put their things in the dryer. The worker at the time asked him to leave us alone because he saw that he was being extra! After that the drunk continued!! He went into was laundry room, asked my kids if they wanted any detergent... when they didn't answer him he walked out saying "fuckin niggers". She came to my room this morning with her shitty attitude because my ac went out over the wkend (they gave me another room so I came to up to shower) the first thing she asks is why am I here. My things are still in this room so I came to shower and get ready for work. She goes on "what room are y'all staring in because the boys were up here all day yesterday, (speaking abt my teens) they were not doing anything they just wanted to come here for to watch tv and chill. She's goes on "if it's that hot why are they here" lmao like why is it bothering her? If they wanna be hot I'm still paying for the damn room (my daughter and I downstairs with the baby) if they wanna be hot why is it bothering her!? I didn't answer her question. She went on by saying that I need to move what's in front of the ac because they are gonna replace the unit. She said she wanna ask me to change my attitude towards her... by now I'm annoyed because she's said too much already! I told her that I'm a mirror and I give what I get! And what I've been thinking all along I was correct and I know because of her cousins comments towards my kids! ALSO I've been making partial payments for some time now and all of a sudden this morning I'm not able to do it anymore! She's a racist piece of shit. Then she told me that she'll refund me after I took my stuff out of her place for the wk that I paid in advance... when I went to ask for the refund, she told me that she won't be refunding my money. Called the police and everything.... What these ppl do is play victim after they start shit with ppl. Side note: Lena have been picking with my sister and I since we came to this place in sept... she have been verbally abusing us. She said that we were walking hard (we heard hard walking from our room too) she said that we had to move out of our rooms, we moved with no problem. My nephew opened the lock so that the door won't lock behind him when he was taking the trash out... she saw it and instead of knocking on the door to tell us that we can't do that with the lock she pushed the door open, put her foot in the doorway and argued with my sister abt the lock (I saw her workers do the same thing with the locks) last wk on my cleaning day she told me that she cant change my sheets because she had no clean ones. Remind you every other wk when my room was cleaned my sheets were changed, so I don't understand what was the difference with that wk. I usually pay little by little every wk so that I can be on time with my payments after work... this morning she told me that I'm not able to do it for some odd reason when... the other manager had no problem with taking my payments. Lena started picking with me since September when I first got there, when I told her how I felt this morning it was a problem then used her authority to put my kids and I out of the hotel. She's racist and uses her title at the hotel in so many wrong ways.

I loved that we all had our own cottages and in the mornings we would gather at one and have breakfast and coffee together, just catching up. There was so much to do as well. The kids had a blast in the pool and some went fishing on the dock. We played games and chatted for hours. The cottages were well stocked and comfortable. I rented the 2 bedroom and it had 2 ac units to keep the place cooled down. I only had 2 gripes during this stay: 1. The shower head in the restroom. I'm not saying that it needs to be a rainfall shower head but a regular shower head set up in the ceiling isn't working. They need to just move it where a regular shower head goes, on the wall. 2. The bug bites. I mean, I get it, it's right on the water but no amount of bug spray worked. No home remedies worked. You just had to take it. I walked out of there looking like I have chicken pox but I had a great time! Other than that, everything was amazing! Tami and Lynn were great and any questions we had they were both ready to help. I will definitely come back but it won't be in the summer, I have learned my lesson lol.

I canceled one retreat in November 2024 and was fully refunded. However, when I canceled the second retreat, they are now refusing to refund me. At the time of booking, the website clearly stated a two-week cancellation policy, and staff verbally confirmed that full refunds would be given within this window. Since then, the company has changed their policy and updated the website, but they never informed me of these changes. Now, they are withholding a deposit of over $1,000. While I understand policies can change, it is the company's responsibility to notify customers of any updates, which they failed to do in my case.
