I called Mile High and spoke to Rachel and she was super sweet and informative. The front desk staff Jenna and Jillian always great you with a smile when you walk in. Scheduling is super easy and they are very flexible and accommodating! I love that Mile High PT is super clean, one on one, and care about your treatment plan. I have been in PT with Matt for 4 sessions and he has really listened to my prior medical history and current injury and came up with a great plan to move forward. Matt is super knowledgeable and is great at his job. I love at Mile High, they are one on one. To me this was very important as you get the attention you need and there is no room for error when doing the exercises. I love that all the therapist are Doctors of Physical Therapy and how clean and quiet Mile High PT is. The staff at SportsMed Physical Therapy in Wayne have been taking care of my 72 year old mother for a few months now and she has definitely improved. My mom has issues with her neck and back but mostly she has nerve damage to her legs which have caused her to have severe balance problems and pain and swelling in her knees and ankles. I am writing this review not only because they are treating her well at Sportsmed and I have seen improvement in her motion and abilities but because the entire staff are some of the most genuinely caring people I have met. The whole crew, from the doctors, therapist, assistants and front desk receptionist are some of the sweetest and most accommodating people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Dr. Dave Hotaling is great, he sincerely wants to see improvement in his patients. His treatments and exercise regimen for my mom's legs have done wonders for his "mi amiga". Dr. John, the chiropractor, has helped with her neck and back. And the staff? They are kind, thoughtful and patient with my mother. They even offer transportation, which really helped us when my schedule changed and I was no longer able to take my mom to her appointments. Like I said, accommodating! Everyone on the team shines bright but I would like to especially thank driver Mel, Erin, Andy, Kat, Ryan and Jordan! The goal at SportsMed for my mom since day one has been for her to be able to walk up and down stairs without pain. What a disappointment. I had been there a couple of times before for the treatment of other…read moreathletic injuries and was happy with their service. This time it was completely different. The first time I went for my current injury, I had to wait for almost a half hour. I was then told that I could come back another day because the DPT was busy. I responded by saying I was there now. I'll wait. When I finally got in to get diagnosed, there were a ton of people in there. The DPT listened to my description of my injury and without even examining me, told me what my injury was. There were so many interruptions at this point I wanted to walk out. But, I stayed to a continuing stream of interruptions during the time on was on the examining table when she finally examined me, almost an hour after I walked in the door. Against my better judgment, I made another appointment. When I showed up for the next appointment, I again had to wait. Again, there were a ton of people there. The assistant PT had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and had to continuously go back and forth to the DPT who was again dealing with multiple people. I just walked out. They couldn't care less about me walking out and canceling all my appointments. Despite its name, this PT place isn't geared to athletic injuries. It is dominated by older people. (There is nothing wrong with that. Just don't advertise that you gear to sports. For example, the DPT clearly wasn't an athlete.) It appears that the service that was once the cornerstone of this place is gone. It seems that it is all about getting as many people in the door as possible (Read: $$$$). That afternoon I made an appointment with Sportscare. They are very passionate about what they do. I will never return to SportsMed.
