Wingray is a quality used car dealers just outside Woolton Village. They have a huge variety of…read morecars from prestige cars to family cars. Wingray also provide finance, which is rare for a used car dealership - you can part exchange your old banger for a nice shiny new(er) one, or sell your car for cash. All of which are a bonus when shopping for a new car. The cars can be trusted, unlike many dodgy dealerships, they are all MOT'd, with full service history, and are usually picked by the Managing Director of the company. The staff are very happy to help you find your perfect car and perfect deal.

Carcraft refused my application for finance. Straight up. The place everyone on my street seems to…read moreget their cars from said no. So, with absolutely no expectations I wandered along to Wingray Autos while my fiancee had her hair immaculately sculpted. Behold thine eyes! For there was an 06 plate Corsa, which may as well have been a spanking new Bentley compared to my 1995 banger, which cost more to repair than buy. Why not apply for finance, I thought. I had just gotten my first mortgage a few months earlier. Of course, the application was initially declined for some reason. But Jeff, co-owner, told me not to worry. He would get me the car, and at a reasonable rate. Tickle my chin and call me Deirdre, for that car I now drive. Polished to within an inch of its life, you could drink beer out of the alloys, fully MOT'd and serviced. Jeff was true to his word, riding roughshod over the traditional stereotype of the dodgy used car salesman. Wingray doesn't have the biggest forecourt, but given its space constraints the range of motors is great, from family cars to more sporty and luxurious models. Next time I'm buying, I know where I'm going.

Tried to sell me another car with a £500 discount but it all felt a little scammy and the guys a bit shifty. Cant believe they just couldn't phone me to say so I didn't waste my time. Decided not to proceed. That same night called to say fiesta maybe ready mid week and they would bring part way as a compromise. Decided to google '76 Rice Lane' and found 13 other reviews of similar scams only worse. Appears that this is their standard scam. Dupe you in with a low priced car on auto trader, cars are actually category cars. Looking at the comments below looks like the scam is bigger - with dodgy MOT's faults. This is not a genuine outfit avoid at all costs. They dont use licence plates or their company name in the autotrader adverts. You just dont know what you are buying

Arrived at 6pm and left just after 7pm with a second hand mint Corsa. Great service. Chap couldn't have done more for us and worked efficiently despite the time constraints. Good selection of cars, all RAC checked warrantied. I'm very confidant that this car will serve me well. I would definitely recommend this place. Friendly, competent and competitively priced. Five stars.

I found a car online I was interested in and was intent on purchasing. As it was advertised £495…read morehigher on their website than the AA advert I rang to clarify the price and a person called Kyle explained it was down to the extended warranty but I could opt out when reserving the car. We didn't want to pay for additional warranty as the car would come with three years' remaining on its standard Kia warranty anyway. He encouraged us to reserve the car and later on I sat down to click through their online shopping cart/reservation system to reserve it. There were about five/six options in the cart in relation to warranty which was very confusing so I deselected the £795 option as we didn't want extended warranty, just the Kia warranty. I put my credit card details in to pay the £100 reservation fee and the system confirmed the car price of £15,000 (without these extra warranties they try and sell you!) my reservation was confirmed and I received several emails. We were looking forward to collecting the car as we had an appointment booked for Saturday, however upon checking the price later on through Whatsapp message, Kyle said the price was £300 more than what I agreed to in the shopping cart. He sent me an invoice which had a balance of £14,900 remaining to pay (see pic of invoice below). It was very confusing and frustrating they wouldn't honour the price in the invoice and the shopping cart. Rather than take account of their error and honour the price I had agreed to that was stated on the invoice, Kyle then sent me another invoice with £300 added on. If indeed the price was incorrect there was no accountability on their behalf. They just wanted to make as much money as possible and weren't interested as we were cash buyers. Kyle rang me in work and was ranting down the phone at me and wouldn't let me speak. I found his attitude very unprofessional. A very disappointing customer experience, very underhand and I would advise anyone else considering Georgeson's Cars to shop elsewhere as these guys just want to fleece you out of your hard-earned cash as much as possible and don't take any accountability for their mistakes. I'm still waiting for them to refund my £100 reservation fee. If you're looking for a car at a competitive price with good customer service AVOID this place like the plague!

Georgesons prepared the vehicle for sale but when I received the car, the onboard stated a service…read morewas due also there were bodily fluid stains on the passenger and drivers seat, missing trim all down the drivers side, badly sprayed rear quarter panel, badges missing from the tailgate. Georgesons told me to ignore the service reminder as they didn't have the equipment to reschedule the onboard and that the next service would be in 18 months. Ok now we're up to date: Had the car serviced by a independent garage and the garage called me in to show me the oil as it was like Tar and that they had never seen oil that bad and the oil filter had totally collapsed on itself - reflective of a vehicle that had done a good 50.000 plus I called Georgeson and asked if they could checked their records in the way of a invoice for the unique part number for the filter and confirm that it was the case that they didn't have the test equipment to reset the onboard. I told Joseph I need my fears allayed, as the service garage told me that this would had definitely shortened the life of the Turbos Initially Joseph was polite and replied he would obtain it for me, but out of nowhere Joseph came back and said he's not going to give it to me as it wouldn't be the end of it. I find Joseph childish behaviour very unprofessional, I've emailed Joseph on numerous occasions throughout Sept 2023 and he chooses to ignore all my emails. I phoned Joseph today and again I politely requested if i could have a copy of the invoice and acknowledgement that the only reason my car onboard was calling out a service upon taking delivery was that Georgesons didn't have the test equipment. Sadly Joseph took the same stance , he won't be bullied into giving this information. Honestly it's like dealing with a 5 year old. Personally his behaviours reinforces my worst thoughts, the car wasn't serviced and it was also evident the car hadn't been properly prepared as I mentioned above and I also forgot to mention the tailgate didn't operate properly. Yes they paid to have the stains removed, sent the missing trim parts, fixed the tailgate but they can't retrospectively service the car and this is the issue. There's no question this car was badly prepared and things were missed. However their behaviour to avoid this awkward situation is beyond beggars belief.
