    Hot cocoa bar

Definitely recommend. Only hotel in the area we found and would stay again. Greeted with friendly staff who got us checked in right away. Rooms were clean and ready upon arrival. They had tea and a hot cocoa bar available after hours. Have a grab and go type breakfast. No hot items with the pandemic, but did have cereal, individually wrapped toast, English muffins, fruit, milks, juice, yogurt and microwaveable burritos and egg sandwiches. Oh and coffee of course!! I know, so far this is a rave review so why the 2 stars?? My only complaint, and this is kinda a big one since it ruined our night. We were in the room in the first floor right next to a fire room. Didn't seem like a big deal until there was some beeping alarm that kept going off all night starting around 2am. Not sure if this is normal, or if it had anything to do with being in the handicap (hearing impaired) room, but sleep didn't happen.

Clean, excellent customer service, awesome pool and workout room, okay breakfast. Great shower and bed! Loved the note in our room! Happy sleeping Yelpers!

My mother an I just finished a one night stay at the Warrensburg Fairfield Inn an it was a very pleasant stay. My mom couldn't stop raving about how friendly an welcoming the entire staff was. Our check in was short an simple with Abby who let us know a little bit about the facilities (which is basically the gym). The hotel does offer a free an simple continental breakfast that we did take advantage of. The staff during breakfast was very thorough in sanitizing tables an keeping the breakfast area clean. The room was great, very comfortable. It included a microwave, a mini fridge, Paul Mitchell travel hair products, an even a couple Neutrogena mk up wipes which I appreciated. We enjoyed watching You Tube on the TV but it also offers Pandora an Netflix. The bathtub was the cleanest hotel tub I've ever seen but, the water pressure could of been higher. To top it off the hotel offers free chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon down at the lobby. The hotel is in a great location with Starbucks, Applebees, an OF COURSE, Walmart in the vicinity.

As a yelp reviewer I straddle the line between giving honest takes or criticisms of all businesses…read morehowever I also try to present my experiences in a tactful manner; knowing full well individuals lives can be impacted by overzealous emotions. Now, the reason I was staying at Super8 was because I was in town for my daughter's high school graduation. Even though I had lived in Kansas and Missouri in the past and now live in SC, I've never been to Warrensburg before so I just chose a hotel like drawing a number out of a hat. Needless to say, this review will not be pretty as I found almost no redeemable qualities. Super8 is located right off the main highway and relatively close to many restaurants and other establishments, thus covering all shopping needs should unforeseen circumstances arise. The desk clerk was nice and accommodating however this is where the platitudes end. First there are no elevators so handicap individuals will need to make that clear. Secondly there's only one ice machine and it's on the first floor and no snack machines but a beverage machine with only three different drinks including coke and water. Before I move on, the ice buckets don't have lids so the ice melts quick, even if the room is cold. Oh, before I forget they do have some sort of breakfast as in a waffle maker, cereal with milk and fruit. After reading the rest of my review, I'm not sure that will be enough to entice readers to stay. If you need a computer, the printer is broken, so no printing up airline tickets (although most use phones). As for security, they have cameras all over the place but none of the doors to inside the building are locked, no key needed as the card readers are broken. There was a lot of construction so be warned they start early. Also the parking lot has a lot of trash and at least two broken down vehicles that never moved. The smell on the way to my room was nauseating and it didn't get much better once I got into my room. When I got there and as some of the picture's show, the place is not taken care of in terms of upkeep. My comforter had several cigarette holes in it and the walls had worn and chipped paint all over the place. I attempted to call the front desk but alas the phone that was plugged in, didn't work as I was calling the front desk for extra towels. Oh, btw they told me at 2pm I couldn't get anymore towels until the next morning. They did have one lamp with USB ports but that was on one side of the bed. More issues in my room were mold under the bathroom mat which gave a horrible stench along with the bath faucet having a huge crack in it. Next issue was the toilet wasn't working properly as it always took 4 flushes to complete empty, which when it did had displayed a yellow stain from lack of proper cleaning and not flushing properly. There were bugs walking along the floor next to the tub. Finally the shower curtain didn't even properly cover the area so water gets out onto the floor. I was in the hall on my final day and another tenant stopped me and asked the following "do you have a hole in your shower? I have a hole and I'm concerned they might have a camera?" I replied my tube faucet was cracked and had a hole so this marks two questionable situations in the bathing area. I told her to tell the desk to switch her rooms but aside from that I wasn't sure how she resolved her situation. Oh, as a side note, there was someone laying in the stairs area on the phone for many hours being very loud. I'm not accustom to people just laying in the hall, but that might be a people issue not Super8. On my final day I met a friend for lunch telling him all about the hotel; you get what you pay for, was his reply. After thinking about it, does a cheap hotel automatically mean they don't have to maintain certain levels of quality? I wasn't expecting flowers on my bed, but this was literally my worst experience ever. Without a doubt if anyone reads this, stay away and find another hotel as there are a couple by with nicer quality.

Should be given an option for leaving ZERO stars…read more The parking lot is littered and garbage was never changed outside the entrance door. The odor walking in is nasty, only to be met with a face full of curry when you enter. The staff that checked us in was polite.....and that is where the positive stops. Our room was advertised to accommodate 5 people....but only 2 towels are given per room. When we (a party of 3) asked for extra towels, staff argued with us saying that they only give 2 per room. And the room.... The cable TV doesn't work in our room. At all.... So no entertainment. The top blanket cover was filthy so we pulled it off and moved to a corner away from us. Windows are dirty and do not appear to have been cleaned or dusted. The sheer curtains had holes and shreds in them. Hairs were stuck in the sheer fabric....appears to be from the genital region but could be from a chest I suppose.... I didn't get close enough to analyze. Pull out sofa had springs popping up so badly they left bruises on our daughter's hips... she slept on it as a sofa after the first painful night..... it is a loveseat sized sofa and she is taller than the sofa is long. The bed wasn't much better, hard as a rock and since they use so much bleach on the sheets, the sheets cause those with sensitive skin to itch. The tub has pink stains and scum rings and is extreme need of a good scrubbing. The sheets and pillowcases are over bleached in scent but still appear dingy. The room was never cleaned by housekeeping. They stopped by to ask for dirty towels (appear to be terrified that someone might steal them). We sat the bags of trash outside our room door to be picked up and they never replaced the garbage bags in the room. The pool..... we visited in the summertime and is is super hot outside. But you can't get in the pool because it is filthy. When we checked in it was yellow water.... And 2 days later the water was turning yellow-brown. You can't see the bottom and there is a sludgy slime on the step where you enter the pool. Never cleaned or serviced during our visit.....disgusting. Staff walks around wearing masks (I understand that there are areas still dealing with Covid) however they do not clean anything so what is the purpose of the masks? They do offer veteran parking near the door.... However the disgusting and filthy accommodations they provide are a slap in the face to veterans. And I haven't even mentioned the homeless encampment in the trees behind the hotel next to the pool area. We only finished our stay because we prepaid through another booking site and couldn't get refunded. Never again! This place should not be allowed to continue operations until staff is brought up to standards on cleaning and sanitizing the facility.

*THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER CLOSED*…read more So, first thing's first...let's be real and shoot straight. This motel is not your high-end place, nor is it meant to be so. It is, in fact, a no-frills motel that is located near a major USAF base and right off a major highway. Now, one might think the above statement should put one off from staying here, but as a fairly well-established reviewer, a USAF veteran, and a family man with security at the forefront of my mind, I would actually disagree. Yes, the phrase "you get what you pay for" is a valid statement, sure. With that said, we stayed here for four nights, having extended a night due to scheduling and logistics. If it were not a safe place and the rooms not clean, we'd have gone elsewhere. But no, we extended and stayed here another night. The AC, fridge, microwave, shower, and even the TV worked great! The beds were very comfortable, and while we did not request housekeeping, we were able to exchange towels as needed. So I have no doubt they'd have cleaned us up if we'd asked. The location and the room itself felt safe, the room was indeed clean, and noise was actually minimal from guests/staff, traffic, and even the aircraft were barely noticeable. Decent view of storms as they march in from the west, too! Big kudos to Katie, Julian, and the lovely young lady housekeeper whose name I missed. All of the staff are friendly, professional, helpful, and downright pleasant. Even the longer-staying guests are top notch people. 10/10 would party with them. It was enjoyable, and we will return here again. Thanks for having us!

Absolute s***t show of a hotel! The management was horrible. The neanderthal prego on some superior…read morepsycho episode got in my wife's face and threatened to toss our cats outside when they had quite literally been verbally aggressive, abusive, cross, rude, and harassed my wife with the constant sexual comments and innuendos or out of line flirtatious outright comments ect. These people are absolute terrors and should be cuffed in a small dark room rather than breeding more unhuman little demons just like them. Then as we arrived we're informed that we don't have running water so don't flush the toilet, we didn't have drinking water, no shower for 4 days no internet no pool no water was ever offered the absolute side show happening outside our room ALL afternoon AND night or whenever this complete disaster of a child who was for some reason put in management felt like messing with the water main. There was NO excuse for the terrible things we endured in this waste of space. It's stinks beyond words of description, the young pervert who's wife in the office is pregnant and a sheer b***tch of a human being couldn't once manage to look at my wife as they spoke, well NOT in her face anyway. The rooms were disgusting, the amenities which I was actually opting for that they claimed to provide were in fact NEVER provided instead there were 4ft muddy hole in the ground with NO caution tape, no be aware signs, NOTHING! The owner of this s**t show when approached actually had the audacity to get in my face, my friends face and the older lady in the room next to the room we were staying in. We were told to pay more right then because he refused to have people with pets stay in the building we were in so he was going to have to move us so we were quite literally screamed at to go pay right now or, "pack it up and get de hell out of derr, right now!" Don't stay here folks. This is NOT worth the change on the ground in the gas station parking lot! You're probably going to get better amenities under a bridge in the inner city than this hell hole. The actual city of Knob Noster code enforcement and health violations showed up, told em it's over. It's NOT up to code, not in ANY way healthy for those with young children, no caution signs or separation units for safety, the dirt in the ice machine, the wires coming out of the walls, the filth and alleged sex trafficking that I was informed takes place VERY often there. It's simply wrong this place is even still in business. I was told the owner was absolutely untouchable so complaints and pictures and yada, yada, yada was completely useless. Well guess what a*s h**le... I'm only just beginning. You need to treat people better. We women over here actually have voices and some ... Have not a single slice of fear with that type loud, played out "big boy" bs. I want my money back people. I deserve it and Y'ALL know it! This isn't stopping here. It's sick. Y'all are simply horrible, filthy, "devils rejects in Knob Noster". Period.
