I just wish they would have a few more OB/GYNs to balance things out, as many of the great ones I have had over the years have retired or moved on to new ventures. Additionally, they now require patients with gestational diabetes to see an MFM in addition to the normal prenatal appointments, which while I am glad my health was in good hands, was very inconvenient as a mom to 4 littles. But overall I am truly thankful for the incredible care Tepeyac has provided both for me and my babies. I have never felt this cared for by a medical practice.

Midwife Kim said some unkind and insensitive things to me while I was pregnant, and Dr. Perrera could not have been more rude, inconsiderate and has the most awful bedside manor. She made my labor and delivery a horrible experience with my first baby. Dr. Cvekovich I am sorry to say has ZERO napro expertise and knows nothing about that. She was always trying to rush out of the room when I had questions. She never tried to get answers and results. If you need Napro doctors or help for endometriosis or pcos, DO NOT GO HERE. Dr. C botched my laparoscopy, I even had a note of confirmation from another surgical specialist who confirmed that she did a horrible job. Do not trust these doctors, go elsewhere. It's so sad because they are Catholic and I was so happy and excited to find what I thought was a good Christian practice but it is not pleasant inside that office. I have had nothing but poor experiences here, and with multiple doctors. Go elsewhere!

After we returned home, I worked with Whitney, Amanda and Jessica who are postpartum night doulas from Shannon's team. They rotated who was coming each time, and everyone was professional, punctual, and communicative. In addition to feeding and taking care of the baby, they also made sure I was healing better and gave us a lot of advice. In November, I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and hospitalized. Due to my condition, I had to deliver my baby early via emergency c-section at just over 31 weeks. My baby is currently in the NICU. I wasn't able to have a prenatal in-home visit due to my hospitalization and was given very short notice of my emergency C-section due to my declining health. After my birth, I was put on magnesium, and my baby was sent to the NICU. My husband and I were both so terrified that the last thing I was thinking about was having my doula attend. I was afraid for me and my baby. I reached out to Shannon after my birth and asked if I could cancel the postpartum doula services because of the new financial strain of NICU costs/my hospitalization. She informed me that if I canceled the postpartum doula services, that both contracts would be void, and all services would be considered rendered. Remember, I did not receive a prenatal visit nor birth services due to my medical condition & hospitalization. The contract I signed stated that if the doula wasn't at your birth, you would be entitled to eight hours of postpartum services. Shannon explained that because I paid a 50% deposit on both services, none of the services were paid in full so I would receive nothing else moving forward. Although we had paid $3050 and the birth doula services were $2100, I would need to pay an additional $900 in order to receive the eight hours of postpartum services. She said I could "take it or leave it" and that she would not move money from one contract to another. I was shocked at her response. There was no solution offered where I could receive any services post-birth for the $3050 we had paid. More money had to be paid. This was literally the worst experience of my entire life, and I received no care or compassion at all from Shannon. She maintained that her responsibility was to her staff/business. During our phone call, I was talking about my hospitalization and she mentioned that all of her clients were hospitalized. I clarified that I wasn't hospitalized because I was giving birth. I was hospitalized due to severe preeclampsia and potential organ failure. Trying to work things out with her made a horrible situation even more stressful and terrible. She refuses to budge and maintains that we will not receive any postpartum services if we don't pay extra. My husband and I feel as though we have paid $3050 and have received nothing. We did not receive a prenatal appointment, doula birth services, or any postpartum care. Please see the last email I received from her.

Beware of significant variability in degree of skill amongst providers. I had assumed that all…read morewould be excellent at soothing a newborn. My husband gifted me 2 consecutive weeks of a night nurse upon arriving home. It was a priority to breastfeed and I was given the baby nearly every 1-2 hours to nurse for the first 4 nights. Because the Christmas holiday required a different night nurse, I experienced a dramatic difference (was given the baby every 3 hours). As I wasn't sure if this was a natural change or due to a difference in the nurse. When I completed the additional subsequent day with the primary nurse, she continued to give me the baby every 1-2 hours, and even endorsed use of formula (Which I relented to). As the pediatrician confirmed that the baby was gaining weight well, and my lactation consultant confirmed that I did not have a supply issue, I knew that the skill of my primary night nurse was inadequate. I reached out to LMS immediately. I discontinued care with the primary nurse, and complete one night on my own (baby woke every 2 hours). While they were able to switch my night nurse to one with the ability to soothe the baby, they refused to give me a refund for the nights I had worse sleep. Instead, they provided only a $500 credit ($100 per night of poor sleep). Ultimately, I paid $1600+ and got worse sleep for 5 nights! They argued that I should have contacted them earlier, but I did contact them as soon as I noticed the differences in care. As LMS advertises skilled staff with soothing techniques and bottle feeding, the assumption is that the care delivered is standardized. I recommended that (1) the night nurses send them a summary of the schedule and (2) that they administer a survey after the first and second night to evaluate the mom's experience. This may help to reduce issues for future moms that I experienced.

Followed instructions regarding care and feeding. Even washed pumped parts and bottles and made up bed ( sofa sleeper) I had set up. You don't need an extra bed, but we had one. Nurses had infinite patience with my fussy infant overnight. The service is expensive, but well worth it if you can swing it. I would absolutely use their service again.

From the moment you walk in you're greeted by friendly team members who walk you through every step of your stay. They're reachable all the time via a WhatsApp group, which we found convenient and helpful. The suites are comfortable and well equipped, just like staying at a luxury hotel, just with all the baby stuff you could need and more. We actually discovered some of our favorite products (baby cream and oil) from Sanu staff picks. The dinners were a great chance for mom and dad to take a breath together while the super professional caretakers watched our son. We felt at ease having them care for him, as we were given access to the Lollipop camera in case we wanted to take a look at how he was doing. The Sanu team really took great care of us and we'll look back on our stay as a fond memory during such an important time in our lives. Highly recommend considering a stay for your postpartum recovery, there's really nothing else like it.

It made it easy to get help or ask questions at any time. **Cons:** - The facility was occasionally short-staffed, meaning there were times they couldn't respond to baby care requests promptly. - The nursery camera had frequent outages and only provided a limited view of the baby's bassinet. If the baby was being changed or soothed elsewhere, they were out of sight, which was very concerning. After I complained, they made arrangements to hold my baby in a private room where she could be seen on camera at all times. These extras add up quickly. Overall, while the idea of a postpartum retreat is fantastic, the execution at $880/night felt far from luxurious. Too many corners are being cut, and the experience didn't feel as relaxing or premium as I had hoped. In hindsight, that money would have been better spend on a postpartum doula to come in home and help. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this retreat to others.

They have made me feel so comfortable and at ease through a relatively difficult time and I am eternally grateful to the entire team for that. Dr. Petersen is not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate. At every appointment he is always more than willing to answer any questions I have (though I've had to ask very little, as he is so thorough with the information he provides). One thing that has stood out to me greatly is how far they go to make sure you are comfortable here. After explaining some of my personal history to the care team, they have made such an intentional effort to guide me through the physical examinations in a way that makes me feel safe and supported. This was my biggest source of anxiety going into my pregnancy journey and after beginning my prenatal care here it's no longer something I even concern myself with. As a second time mom, I didn't think I would need as much help this time around with Amy. I knew how to get a good latch, how to position my body and the baby, and felt confident that I only needed minimal visits, but baby #2 had other plans in mind. Baby #2 was born at 37wks and while that's considered full term, it's actually on the early side which causes a lot of complications with feeding. My baby had trouble latching and sucking because there wasn't enough time practicing these motor skills in the womb. This resulted in the baby not being able to transfer milk, even though my milk was coming in. Amy confirmed this with her before and after weighing from a 20mins feed. I was so upset and devastated, that we had to move quickly to formula feeding to get the weight up fast because baby #2 had severe jaundice and we were trying to keep from being admitted to the hospital for phototherapy. Unfortunately, we had to be readmitted and Amy coached me through protecting my milk supply, while formula feeding and getting baby's weight up. She also reassured me that this is just a blip in our breastfeeding journey and that we will get back on track when he's healthy and clear of jaundice. I ended up upgrading my package to the Luxe because of how important it was for me to get us back to the basics once baby #2 was in the clear health-wise. I not only was able to protect my milk supply while having to formula feeding for two weeks but I also needed support in making sure once I returned back to work how to maintain a sustainable stash without oversupply, as I did with my first. I am almost 3mo postpartum and baby #2 has a great latch, is thriving in all the drs appointments, and gaining weight beautifully. At my last in home visit Amy walked through our schedule to have a successful stash, pumping schedule, and ready for baby to start daycare and me to return to work. I almost cried when she as leaving because I've appreciated everything that she has done for me and my babies. Words cannot express how much she has meant to me. I found her through a friend who had an amazing experience, and I reached out in a panic on a Sunday when my milk came in and I had no idea what to do. Her insanely fast response time was much needed; I found out the next day that our son had lost more than 10% of his birth weight and to say that I was freaking out is an understatement. Amy came that afternoon and I immediately felt like I was in great hands. She taught me how to breastfeed comfortably, got me set up with my pump, did a weight measurement to see how much he was getting with each feed, and also helped get a plan in place to get my son back to his birth weight. After the appointment she has been incredible over text/Voxer and answers questions so quickly. Feeding a baby is so stressful but with Amy's knowledge and confident demeanor, she demystifies it. I immediately signed up for the luxe package and truly wish I did this before I delivered so I would have had a plan in place and didn't have to play catch up. Still I'm so glad that I reached out to Amy and probably would have stopped breastfeeding if I hadn't. She is truly the best and I'm so grateful to have her guidance for one of the most important pieces of my life!
