I can't tell whether this business is incredibly negligent with bad time management, or just purely…read morea scam. He's really slow to respond (once he has your deposit), sometimes for days (after he's supposed to show up). He keeps giving excuse after excuse. I told him I was on a timeline and that I needed a headliner in 2 weeks. It was for a car that was a gift for my mom, and I had to leave at a specific time on a specific day to drive to TN to surprise my mom with the car. Two weeks went by with a ton of excuses, including working on other people's cars that (at that point) were two weeks after the day he said he would do my car. He wouldn't even come out and work late to get it done (and get paid) the day before I had to leave. He did offer to come out and do it *after* I told him I had to leave (and pick up someone at the airport). Not only was that insane, but I wouldn't have ever believed him at this point. I've now spent the past two weeks trying to get my deposit back. It has been a month since I gave him the deposit, and for the past two weeks it has been a litany of giving me excuses for not refunding me. Mixed in is periods of days not responding. At this point it looks like I need to go to the police and my credit card company. Definitely do not waste your time with him, because he certainly isn't going to waste his time on you (once you've paid him). Oh, and of course I had to surprise my mom with a car with a sagging headliner. :( In case it isn't obvious, the pictures on this page and on his website are professional stock photos, suspiciously he has no photos whatsoever featuring his actual work.
